I want to worship Mon Mothma's feet and get fucked by her strapon.
Is that so wrong?
>what is she /co/?
>REEE /tv/ GET OUT
>'they actually defend the prequels'
>i wanna fuck ezra in his boipussy
>NOT CANON NOT CANON FUCK THE EU
>kotor fucking sucks
>all fetishfags should be executed
There. Now that all the usual shitposting is out of the way, can we have a good thread for once? Please?
Whoops I forgot to put the latest Rebels preview in the OP:
>get fucked by her strapon
that's not what mommy-fus are for faget, they are for breeding
No, they're for getting dominated by, you stupid virgin.
Now please leave and don't come back until you've had sex.
He counts as girl now since he became a pussy.
>don't come back til you've had sex
>getting fucked in the ass by a girl
that rules out you too, buster
Krennicposting is still just about fresh enough to be funny.
>Watching Clone Wars for the first time
>99 gets his moment
Getting pegged by a mommyfu is the greatest pleasure in life.
>tfw can't listen to https://youtu.be/aFOo86PDDuE without imagining the sound of a thousand marching boots
We've known what Dantooine looks like for decades, you retard.
>in b4 NOT CANON NOT CANON EU SUCKS
>Sheev just wanted to put on a big show
>Anakins march up the temple steps was just to look cool while 2 venators parked in the sky behind the temple to shoot down any fleeing ships while the rest of the 501st poured into every single entrance of the temple
kotor isn't decades old dummy, those graphics are terrible, and finally, owing to its non-canonicity, there is thus no guarantee of what exactly it will look like at all, for all we know it will be turned into a desert planet or water world
>The thread is 40 posts of people saying NOT MY CANON already
Dark Force Rising had the best and comfiest book cover imo
but it's still not canon :^)
And when did you first hear about Dantooine? 1977?
Because that's literally what it looks like in everything.
Tatooine is alright, seems pretty civilized as far as worthless deserts go. Jedha pre-Rogue One seems fine if you're a space Muslim. Geonosis is bad either way, termite infested shithole or spooky lifeless shithole. Jakku has no excuse to even exist.
>you forgot the mandofags
>for all we know it will be turned into a desert planet or water world
Are you just trying to play devil's advocate? Because you can't be this retarded. No one this retarded exists in real life.
No, it was enslaved like many other worlds and eventually rose up against the Empire when the Rebel Alliance started gaining the upper hand.
Which is a better story imo. Killing the entire population was dumb and Filoni was dumb for letting Pablo even suggest that.
How is that retarded? There have been no canon representations of Dantooine, and it only shows up in passing in a shitty ancient video game and a couple forgettable comics.
I first heard of it when I watched ANH, but that was in 1995 on VHS when I was 4 years old. Where precisely is that concept art from?
>Where precisely is that concept art from?
That particular piece? Clone Wars.
>I first heard of it when I watched ANH, but that was in 1995 on VHS when I was 4 years old.
And you've seriously never seen it until now? Do you only watch the movies? Are you just here for the Disney Wars?
Why are Imperials the cutest?
Are we allowed to bitch about the narrative of the old canon games here?
Remember the force awakens 2?
>You are a clone of the jedi that betrayed me starkiller
>But we've never been able to truly clone force users before
>Could he be lying to manipulate you?
>These memories might prove so
>And these feelings
>Nope, he was telling the truth all along
What an anticlimax.
I imagine it'd start with some heart surgery.
>kotor fucking sucks
I mean, it hasn't aged well, but it's decent.
What could possibly lead you to believe that Dantooine, a planet that has appeared in multiple video games, comics, and the Clone Wars shorts, would all of a sudden be turned into a water planet?
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. They took the stupid "Darth Maul has robot legs" story from an EU comic that wasn't even canon back then and made that canon. But you seem to think keeping Dantooine a farm planet is ridiculous?
>posting my husbando
i never took another one
Lucasfilm Story Group is not constrained by extraneous content creators.
>cites Genndy Wars
>derides Disney Wars
oh, you're one of THOSE people
The fact that I never knew that a 3 minute tidbit from a nearly forgotten 14 year old cartoon network promo was supposed to be Dantooine might tell you something of the value of its appearance.
I think this guy is just mad that we talk about Star Wars from before the Disney relaunch, so he doesn't understand what we're talking about.
He doesn't get the references and it makes him mad.
To be fair, Dantooine had some wildly contradictory depictions. In some books and games it's portrayed as looking wildly different and having wildly different inhabitants from others.
I think Galaxies was the only thing that tried to reconcile it by saying some bits look some way, some bits look another way, but the fact is it's usually a complete tossup on which version you're getting per story.
>a nearly forgotten 14 year old cartoon network promo
You know that show is the basis for this one, right?
I never once said that the idea that it's a farm planet is ridiculous, I said there is no way of knowing if it will stay that way because LSG is not beholden to Bioware or Genndy Tartakovsky. All I said was exactly that, we have no idea what it will look like in canon. It may be space kansas or it may be as mountainous as eadu or cold as hoth.
If anything, you are the one being ridiculous for accusing others of retardation merely for asking "God, I can't wait to see Dantooine on-screen"
Wow araxussyexyr here is triggered, ignoring that I was just talking about GenndyWars, KOTOR, and Dark Force Rising, quality samefagging my Mousophobic friend
>saying some bits look some way, some bits look another way
You mean....like a planet that has different topographical regions? Who ever heard of such a thing.
>Rebels meet Mon Mothma, have some das boot style stealth action in thier ships before a final space battle and then a jump to dantooine to see the fleet
>chop and ap5 then go off on a mission to get codes for the attack on lothal but get reprogrammed
>then before the lothal attack happens Thrawns finds Atollon resulting in a 2 parter season finale culminating with the rebel fleet jumping in over Attolon and rescuing the the rebels there
>next season mangalore
When you stop buying them. I was embarrassed by how many people here actually bought Battlefront.
You knew it wasn't going to be good. You knew it ahead of time, but you still bought it.
Funny, it didn't occur to me before Pearl kind of looks like her.
Becoming a Grand Moff, becoming part of the Emperor's inner circle, I don't doubt.
Depends on whether you're a cute girl or a yucky boy.
>If anything, you are the one being ridiculous for accusing others of retardation merely for asking "God, I can't wait to see Dantooine on-screen"
But that is retarded. Because we know what Dantooine looks like.
>What could possibly lead you to believe that Dantooine, a planet that has appeared in multiple video games, comics, and the Clone Wars shorts, would all of a sudden be turned into a water planet?
Not that anon, but it's not that hard to believe. Ryloth and Onderon differ from their EU counterparts.
>The EU BTFO's basically all of the current Star Wars material save Rogue One and parts of TFA.
hell no. I liked the EU myself, but it was a fucking mess. Canon is overall better, though TFA is easily my least favorite thing, followed by the Aftermath trilogy
>But that is retarded. Because we know what Dantooine looks like.
Correction: We know what it looked like in Legends.
>We know what Coruscant looks like
t. Dash Rendar, 1997
just like we knew how Malachor looks like, amirite?
Don't forget Mandalore and Concord "Dantooine" Dawn
for fuck sake, stop showing AraxussYexyr shit artwork. no one like him
No, I mean in an average case Dantooine literally is two seperate planets. Just the view from space isn't even consistent. Is it almost entirely land? Is it mostly water with a few continents? Nobody fucking knows!
Is that the real filename
Did you even play the game? Because the surface of the planet is basically the same.
That's the original interpretation of the city portion of Coruscant. I say portion, because it used to be one big giant city that covered about 2/3 of the planet outside of vast mountain ranges, instead of a complete ecumenopolis. And yes, that Golden Throne is in fact meant to be Emperor Palpatine's palace.
it literally isnt
No it isn't
I was just commenting on how much that looks like a 40k hive world, and the fact the Emperor's palace is one giant ultra-structure. Its kind of funny, I didn't expect to see that influence bleeding through a bit there.
yes look it up, his artwork make him look like a fucking edge lord.
I think HK is shooting his arm off?
Did you even watch the show?
Because the planet looks completely different.
Well Coruscant is modeled slightly off that WH40K vibe, but that real early concept art that dated from as early as ROTJ almost certainly influenced 40k.
All the Canon books and comics right now except maybe Lost Stars, Battlefront: Twilight Company, and some parts of the Vader comic are fucking awful though. The EU books and comics were almost universally fantastic. It's not even close.
I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU FAGGOTS TO HAVE A GOOD THREAD
THIS IS GARBAGE
>All the Canon books and comics right now except maybe Lost Stars, Battlefront: Twilight Company, and some parts of the Vader comic are fucking awful though.
No, most of them have been good-to-great.
>The EU books and comics were almost universally fantastic.
You can't possibly be serious. This is the last reply you get from me, baiter.
it's all your fault
You're not my supervisor!
I like it, an infinitely feeding loop of influence, which only really diverged once we started to get the prequels. Have a nice Inquisitor for your explanatory efforts. Because in the grim darkness of the far future, books are fashion accessories and the Emperor in two different universes lives on a hive world.
Seriously look at how many Inquisitors wear them, it is almost as common as the rosette
Apparently the rock in the center of that is what inspired Monument Plaza's mountain top. The rest of Monument Plaza is literally a ralph mcquarrie concept painting
And TCW reused the bulk of that painting for Raxus
So did we see an actual naked boobie in Return of the Jedi?
>It really isn't.
It really is
>And you don't see any similarities because you don't want to. It doesn't fit your narrative.
No, I literally don't see similarities beyond both being cities. You're the one claiming that there are similarities, point them out.
Calling it "not part of my narrative" doesn't help you at all and this discussion will go nowhere.
your probably right, but what your arguing is that you and by extension us have an expectation of what Dantooine will look like. The canon cops you've pissed off simply want you to understand that Lucasfilm can make Dantooine what ever they want.
>The surfaces of the planet are basically the same.
Lol, this is true eutism right here.
There are identical because muh surface looks kinda similar!
Except that it doesn't.
Sithe temple is not on the surface faggot, it's underground, it's also completely different without a single similar element, the surface is flat and glass-like.
And that's all ignoring that planet is actually a normal planet not a tiny massacred wreck with huge fucking chunks missing, because you are a fucking idiot blinded by eufaggorty.
>It really is.
It really isn't
>Like I said, because you don't want to see them.
No, I don't see them because there aren't any. If you actually see similarities, point them out so that maybe I could see them too. Otherwise you're just baiting and I won't reply.
Warhammer fan in star wars ok I'm down with this
It doesn't matter what either of you say what matters is what we see on saturday you autismal fuck. Can they change it? YES Will they? Probably not.
my prediction? the Alliance will probably be made official in a building that looks remarkably like the Jedi enclave.
It's nothing personal kid
They're both long stretches of flat structures with various spire type buildings rising above them leading to an imposing, large structure with multiple spires in background.
lol, i'm sure it's just a coincidence that rebels malachor and malachor v both have a sith temple superweapon and it's $100% confirmed by pablo that malachor was never intended as a new canon version of malachor v, faggot
>never intended to replace malchor V
So its a new Malachor?
We've always been here. Plenty of this general is also from the /tg/ one, and /tg/ being what it is a bunch of Warhammer people just are around.
This. The "Jango and Boba aren't Mandolorian" shitposters are among the worst these threads have since that's just blatantly false. But there are no Karen Traviss fans around these parts that I've ever seen. Most people are in agreement that her books were horrendous.
Why don't we settle this argument like real men?
>Luke did I ever tell you about vaginas?
>The vagina allows for sexual intercourse and childbirth, and channels menstrual flow, which occurs periodically as part of the menstrual cycle.
>The vagina has been studied in humans more than it has been in other animals. Its location and structure varies among species, and may vary in size within the same species. Female mammals usually have the opening of the urethra of the urinary system separate to the vaginal opening of the genital tract. This is different to male mammals, who usually have a single opening, the external urethral opening for both urination and reproduction. The vaginal opening is much larger than the nearby urethral opening, and both are protected by the labia in humans. In amphibians, birds, reptiles and monotremes, the cloaca is the single external opening for the gastrointestinal tract and the urinary and reproductive tracts.
>To accommodate smoother penetration of the vagina during sexual intercourse or other sexual activity, vaginal moisture increases during sexual arousal in human females and also in other female mammals. This increase in moisture is vaginal lubrication, which reduces friction.
>I got to known first hand ashoka's and padme's when anakin wasn't looking. He was a good friend
Most people here are parrots who just repeat what a very small number of people here say about Karen Traviss.
I'm not saying she's good or bad. I'm just saying the majority of posters here wouldn't actually know for themselves, because they have not read and likely will not read a Star Wars novel any time soon.
It's like when we sometimes get people in here surprised to learn that people here like some EU stories after experience a huge argument on why people think the EU is garbage.
>The only garbage characters are Hera and Sabine
They are not and this has been stated multiple times.
> and I'm not entertaining your shitposts to the contrary anymore.
You're the one being contrarian m80
>It is objective fact.
Do you have proof then?
And you are ignoring that it doesn't, you scruffy looking nerf herder, and that the "wrecked planet" look of Malachor V is much more important and iconic for that planet than the "grey surface".
His EU ones were shit, there I said it.
That shit where he and Zam had to go get that thing in the fucking jungle was the most boring fucking Star Wars comic I have ever read, I can't believe I have seen it praised here.
Maybe some canon stuff with Bane or Aurra could be good though, and I am sure they'll get to Jango eventually.
Just wanted to get it off my chest that his EU stuff just wasn't very good. I did like the dead/alive mechanic in his bounty hunter game though, but thats it.
I for one did read all of Karen Traviss' books and I don't know why because aside from the very first Republic Commando one they were all painfully bad. She fucking nearly ruined the Legacy of the Force series too since she kept going wildly off topic and bringing her terrible fanfiction characters in. How Troy Denning and Aaron Allston were able to get everything back on track and salvageable in their installments is a miracle.
Then welcome friends, sci-fi fantasy is hard to come by.
That's not McQuarrie's work.
McQuarrie's Dantooine has already been used to make Lothal.
post has gone to shit post things that trigger people
That's what I've been doing all the time.
Prequels were terrible. Originals and TFA are golden and anyone who disagrees is an autismo. TCW and rebels are for babies. Nothing outside the movies (originals and TFA) is canon.
I feel like it had some pretty great concepts, but could have been executed better.
I remember thinking it was awesome at the time, not sure if it held up, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Oddly enough, my biggest memory of the game was the "I gotta itch, but I can't scratch it!" outtake
I would really hope such concepts are realized, perhaps in the supposed upcoming Visceral bounty hunter themed game.
But that game appears to be focused on Tatooine which is not a good sign.
hot because both Orson and Jyn are handsome as fuck. It's also retarded because there is aboslutely no basis for this ship. Krennic literally doesn't know who Jyn is until the last 5 minutes of his life
who could say no to her
I have a fucking lady boner for both Tarkin and Krennic, and thats a ship. Not one a like thoughand Krennic wouldn't want anything that's female and half Lyra, he only wanted GAAALLEEENNbut hey, Tarkin/Vader/Thrawn is a real thing sooooooo
Did someone say Braless?
I don't use underscores in my filenames you cock
You are like a child. Watch this
The past couple threads have all been shit, we kept hitting the image limit too soon and no one wanted to talk about anything interesting
I'm going to murder you in real life
Oh come on, they're not that bad
I do like >>90345568
but the majority of people who do epaulettes do them badly, here's an example of them done badly
Maul being a real apprentice was bullshit, as soon as Palpatine saw Anakin he would have discarded Maul.
Plus he needed Dooku to lead the Separatists. Maul wouldn't have been able to do that.
Maul being an attack dog was better than what we got, at least then it saved him being made into a joke in TCW and Rebels. Shit Filoni thinks that a crippled Vader would whoop Maul.
Isn't it anti-climactic the most powerful Sith ever wasn't killed in a grand final battle but simply picked up and tossed into a pit?
>le prequels were bad meme
Give it a fucking rest, autismo supreme
>Maul being a real apprentice was bullshit, as soon as Palpatine saw Anakin he would have discarded Maul.
So, ignoring the fact that your latter claim has no basis and is just your own bad opinion, are you at least acknowledging that Maul was very much Sheev's true apprentice up to, and during, The Phantom Menace?
Because that's just factual and canon, and all that matters in your statement.
>Maul being a real apprentice was bullshit,
No it isn't
> as soon as Palpatine saw Anakin he would have discarded Maul.
That's exactly what Palpatine did, once he learned of Anakin's existence he discarded Maul.
>Plus he needed Dooku to lead the Separatists. Maul wouldn't have been able to do that.
How do you know that?
>Maul being an attack dog was better than what we got,
Nope, it's boring for him to only be an attack dog.
>at least then it saved him being made into a joke in TCW and Rebels.
He's no more of a joke than he was in TPM when he lost to Obi-Wan. Maul's been great in TCW and Rebels
>Shit Filoni thinks that a crippled Vader would whoop Maul.
Vader certainly would.
I rather liked it, it was a visual and thematic inversion of Victor Hugo's Quasimodo holding aloft Esmeralda and crying sanctuary.
But in less kino terms, it was penn jillette saying INTO THE TRASH IT GOES
>Maul being an attack dog was better than what we got, at least then it saved him being made into a joke in TCW and Rebels
You are fucking insane and deluded
How can someone even have taste so shit?
What brings someone to think stuff like this?
>Having him have no character just to be a spooky fight man is better than the Sith lord actually being portrayed as a Sith lord!
>Shit Filoni thinks that a crippled Vader would whoop Maul.
I think people need to realize that Maul not being a true apprentice was just Sidious saying that to keep Plaguies happy.
It's even mentioned in the novel that the two had a father/son bond and Sidious felt sadness at sensing Maul's death.
Hey don't bring Baneposting down to that level, it's nowhere near as bad as these fake star wars fans.
Well thats how we know you haven't actually watched either show then. That quote isn't even from Rebels.
Also Maul does talk in TPM, to Sheev, with multiple lines of dialogue.
He doesn't talk to the Jedi because he has absolutely no personal relation to them, he's just sent to kill them.
In Clone Wars, he is talking to his own brother, as well as Kenobi with whom he is now personally connected too, justifying his dialogue.
Maybe if you actually bothered to watch the show, you might actually, you know, enjoy it.
>Doesn't talk in PM
"Tatooine is sparsely populated. If the homing trace is correct, I will find them quickly, Master."
"At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge."
>HAVE MERCY, PLEEEASEEEE in rebels
That's from TCW, but you would know that if you'd actually seen Rebels and TCW.
Yeah, crying after getting wrecked by the dark lord of the Sith himself.
Up until that point, he was very much the same satan like character, throwing entire planets into turmoil, slaughtering innocents, even personally executing a few key characters on the show.
He achieved more in TCW than anywhere else in Star Wars history.
Just because Sheev puts him in his place at the end, doesn't negate everything else
Yeah that's one of the things i love about the novel, it shows that up until, the end that there's still some trace of humanity left in Palpatine
>Sidious had formed an almost filial bond with Maul. Attached to the present, he failed to grasp the truth: that this was the last time he and his apprentice might see each other in the flesh."
Let's hope Luceno gets to write a new Plaguies/Sidious novel to fit into the canon. At this stage every day he wakes up is a miracle, dude's like 70.
It's been removed from Netflix France a few months ago, so probably
That pissed me off so much, they simply removed everything without announcing it. Netflix France is already pretty poor in content, fuck me
I think they're trying to push a new policy of 50% original Netflix content, something like that, so they're removing a lot of stuff
You wake up at the local cantina to see every patron and droid in the place dead and destroyed. Apparently you fell asleep at the booth were sitting in, and all hell broke loose shortly after. You're not sure if the local law enforcement are on their way yet, but it would probably be wise to bounce. What do you do?
How much money have you spent on this game, /co/?
A bit disproportional, but yes that's what they look like
>you can pay half the price of an actual videogame
>to unlock these characters
>in a mobile game
>and this is considered some kind of special limited time offer
What the fuck happened to vidya man? Mobile gaming really fucked things to shit
Like, they realized the masses were stupid enough to throw dozens-hundreds at a game, and now almost everything has some level of hidden microtransaction bullshit. People are spending as much money as they did to buy the game, just try try and unlock certain weapons in the game. What the fuck is up with that? Halo 5 is even giving maps for free because they make more than enough money from the microtransactions alone.
Microtransactions are the future for game devs it seems, all they need to do is trick you into buying/downloading the game first.
I used to see offers in the game for like $50 that gave you one guaranteed character and a bunch of shards that could go towards unlocking other characters. Like you'd get a Qui-Gon and then a random amount of shards for other Jedi. Shit's insane.
>he's a joke because he got his ass kicked by palpatine
Dude, EVERYONE gets their ass kicked by Palpatine. The only duels he's lost have been ones he intentionally gave up on to corrupt powerful enemies whom he could have easily killed: if you need proof, just look at Mace."Dindu" Windu. Otherwise, he only "lost" the GCW because of his own hubris.
Still, no one's ever beaten Palpatine in a straight-up fight, and the closest one was with Yoda which he still won anyway, since Yoda runs away and Palpatine stays in charge. Strategic victory.
A lot of people in this thread are bashing nu-Maul for being a "pussy" or a joke in the shows because he lost to Palpatine and begged for mercy, when they apparently don't understand that Palpatine is possibly the strongest Dark Side force user in galactic history, and definitely among the strongest warriors ever of any alignment. The fact Maul survived even more than a few seconds is commendable in and of itself, even if Palpatine was just toying with him.
>you're not a real star wars fan unless you dedicate yourself to playing the worst star wars game of all time made by the worst devs of all time that almost everybody despises and nobody ever regarded as canon
Yeah, his only moment of humiliation was against Sheev, at no other time did he make a fool of himself
Yeeeeeah except that wasn't the only time he looked back
get that shit out of here
>The only duels he's lost have been ones he intentionally gave up on to corrupt powerful enemies whom he could have easily killed: if you need proof, just look at Mace."Dindu" Windu.
No, Mace beat him. Palpatine wouldn't risk so much on the chance that Anakin would show up.
Mace beat him fair and square, and would've killed him.
He only killed two of them (who had already shown themselves to be weak earlier in the season and were more a nuisance to the heroes than a genuine threat), and that doesn't really change the fact that he then went on to get tripped off a temple by a guy he just blinded.
If that's fine with you, great. But you should be able to see why the rest of us laugh at it.
>has the lightning ability to destroy a small starship
>uses a fraction of it on mace
>happens to fall down right as anakin enters
>then uses his full lightning ability to send his body flying several miles out the window
I mean, if it was anybody else, I'd laugh at it.
I laugh at Boba because he also got knocked into a pit by a blind man.
But the difference with Maul is that he was fighting a Jedi who was being guided by the Force in a 1-on-1 duel, so it was much more appropriate
>blind a guy because you couldn't wait to have your HA HA TIME TO BETRAY YOU moment
>said freshly blinded guy defeats you by making you trip
Yeah nah that's humiliation right there
Thrawns code phrase to deactivate his sparring droids was "Rukh," which was the name of the Noghri that killed him in the EU.
I'm starting to think the ninja lizards won't be making a comeback in the Canon. If they were, the perfect time to introduce them would've been last episode. And if the Noghri don't come back, then it's likely they've decided to skip reusing the original plot for Thrawns death, which is actually a fairly good thing. We've already seen him lose that way, so redoing the whole set up of his assassin/bodyguard turning on him would be seen coming from a mile away, so they must be planning some other fate for the Grand Admiral.
What do you think it will be /co/? Shuffled off to the Unknown Regions for "reasons" or blown up by the Ghost Crew, or something else? We know
that he's not in command of Imperial forces in the wider galaxy after ROTJ because Sloane seems to be de facto leader after the Battle of Jakku. Since the FO wasn't really seen as a threat until Death Star 3 fired, we can assume he did jack shit between ROTJ and TFA. What happened to him?
>has the lightning ability to destroy a small starship
When does this happen?
>happens to fall down right as anakin enters
Actually he falls down a little before Anakin enters, Anakin walks in after he crawls backwards
>>then uses his full lightning ability to send his body flying several miles out the window
No, he uses lightning and then uses force telekinesis to throw Mace a few yards out of the window.
He did. If Anakin hadn't shown up or been swayed by Palpatine, Mace would have killed Palpatine.
Is xenophobia a thing again? I liked it in the old canon but it hasn't beem addressed at all in regards to Thrawn
Also TFW the Chimera is fully Canon
Care to enlighten us plebs ole chap? Don't worry about sounding like a huge nerd we all do it.
Not that anon but
something about knowing how to navigate the Unknown Regions, where Sheev felt a presence, almost certainly Snoke, calling to him. BlueBoy could've been tasked to find Snoke after beating the Lothal Cell and the Rebel Fleet, thereby establishing the base that Sloane and the First Order coalesce around after Jakku. But that second part is speculation
It's still there, but not quite as institutionalized. I don't think it's direct policy. Thrawn's case was addressed recently- Sheev's been a little obsessed with the Unknown Regions since he keeps hearing a mysterious entity calling to him from there, and with Thrawn being from the Unknown Regions, he thought it'd be a good idea to keep him around. That's more about how a complete outsider from a completely unknown origin managed to get a foothold in the Empire though, rather than "ugh filthy xeno scum but we'll make an exception because he's really good."
One of Palpatine's many hidden research stations was hidden under the sands of Jakku. (Said station was the reason why Gallius Rax brings the Empire there, eventually leading to their defeat for good at NR hands.) This station has/had a machine used to calculate a safe passage through Unknown Regions, where Thrawn is from, so Palpatine can go through it safely and find Snoke. The Imperials that become the First Order use it to establish their base.
Do you prefer pic related, or the Blu Ray version with the mossy roofs?
Lucas was like that, he was autistically trying to make every shot perfect, find any way to improve it.
You might think "well nobody would notice or even care", but to him, it was an obsession, his passion.
Some people would criticize him for it, and his changes, but I can respect the love he has for his work, and his passion. He's like every other artist, always seeing the faults in his work, where nobody else can.
It does look fine
Dunno, there's also some added rust IIRC so maybe it was in response to the faggots complaining about how "clean" everything is
>maybe it was in response to the faggots complaining about how "clean" everything is
I'm so sorry Lucas...
You didn't deserve any of the hate you got...
ahem so uh which one?
>" considering Legends is not canon material, whatever happens there doesn't effect the canon Star Wars universe. Before the release of The Force Awakens, the official canon story ends with Return of the Jedi, which means when it ended we were lead to believe the force was in balance. However once TFA was released, the canon story continued, and when we see that the force is not in balance the we are lead to believe that the prophecy was never fulfilled. There is literally no canon material that has someone from the Star Wars universe as to saying "Anakin brought balance to the force and fulfilled the prophecy". A caption of an image from starwars.com is nothing more than someone's opinion of what is depicted, especially when the image appears at least 2 other times with completely different captions on the same site. It is no different than the article on that site even questions whether the events of TFA unbalances what we believe we know about the prophecy. There are dozens of canon references that brings into question the validity of Anakin being the Chosen One, but apparently I am the only one that can see that, as well as "the other hope" Yoda referred to in Episode V that Obi Wan didn't know about is actually the real Chosen One, Rey."
Fucking hell, this dude on the wook is persistent
I miss Rukh and the rest of the Noghri. Any alien race like that that disappears from the current lore is a tragedy.
so dantooine is hobbiton?
To be fair, his theory is plausible, I've been speculating for a while now that the "there is another" line was going to get retconned to be Rey.
Sure as shit didn't amount to anything with Leia, that line of dialogue was simply a remnant of Lucas's earlier ideas for the series.
