Have the books themselves actually been printed and about to be mailed out yet?
Because if not there's no way updates will start up in January, last Kickstarter she needed a several month long hiatus AFTER the books had been printed to mail them out to backers. As I understand it this half-year hiatus so far has only really gotten us as far as her recently sending the printable files to the printer and they're in production there.

Last update was that the masters were approved and sent off to the printer so shit's probably in the process of finally being distributed.

My guess is that the big send-out will probably start in the next couple weeks and updates sometime in mid-January.
