what was wrong with the characters? Pym was just in one of his bad times, this time it took him to unfeeling, which finally broke down at the end. The story was a great progression of Pym, who has NEVER liked himself let alone loved himself. This was the best family story of Ultron since Ultron Unlimited.

I liked Remender's Avengers but RoU was a misstep. Avengers AI probably won't be remembered but it was a decent book and RoU kinda shits all over it.

Humphries was pretty respectful of Pym in Avengers AI. In that book the team fights to save the lives of billions of ai living in some offshore server. Pym does an about-face in RoU with the 'kill em all' philosphy.

Pym always does this though, he does one extreme, decides it's the wrong thing and does an about face to the other extreme. That's the point of all his superhero names that embody some sort of opposite of the last one. Remember even shows this in the old Ultron arc in the same book

Pymtron is the perfect evolution of the Ultron-Pym dynamic though, especially the love blast. neither are capable of loving themselves. Retconning this would be a HUGE mistake, but going forward with this story has got to be one of the most challenging tasks there is. This should be handled well...but with Marvel's lack of good writers...is there much hope? Robinson?

He was a terrible character to start with. All they did was take him from super edge mary sue down to saturday morning rita repulsa tier.

As long as he's not in Bendis's GotG it's ok and moving him forward is interesting. Damn shame Marvel dropped the Pym/Tigra ship though. That was pretty comfy.
