Hey /co/ do you wanna read I Never Liked You?
>>78324655
No.
Sounds depressing.
>>78324655
How is everyone doing tonight?
>>78324685
Only a bit.
>>78324680
Oh, well this is awkward.
My favorite work by him.
keep going anon, i've only read his brother jeffs work.
>>78324729
Mine too. It's one of my favorite comic creators favorite work by him so we must have okay taste at least anon!
>>78324740
You couldn't pay me to stop love.
I read the storytime of "Paying For It" on /aco/, so I'm intrigued. Thanks for sharing, OP.
This is somewhere on the line between realistic and surreal but in a bad way that makes me nauseous. Its like being forced to recall embarrassing childhood memories of someone else.
>>78324831
No need to thank me, I just post other people's work on 4chan!
>>78324956
Well it is autobiographical.

Oh shit, so he does have a dad? or a father-like figure in the household?
>>78324956
What gets me is that everyone has an adult's head on a child's body
>>78324655
At first, I thought the title say "I never liked you, Charlie brown".
It will be funny if charlie brown wrote this.
This is growing on me. Keep posting OP, I eagerly await it
>>78325551
>>78325562
awwww here we go.
>>78325654
Those dicks
I like this comic
It just feels real, knowsimsayin'
This guy has perhaps the most boring autobiography I have ever seen.
Seriously.
Nothing happens.
Is this what normal people's lives are like? Have I just only been reading biographies from fantastical people?
>>78325152
I empathize.
It still occurs, but I usually just go "Meh" and trudge on
>>78325213
Maybe not better situationally, but you can get better at dealing with it

>Spends several pages focusing on how Chester wants to reveal his crush
>Spends several pages about how Chester regrets revealing his crush
>Spends a single panel on how his crush likes him too
This isn't how pacing works.
>>78325847
>not doing errands for your mother
dropped, fuck these kids
>>78326177
It's about his subjective perspective. Spaghetti-ing feels way longer than when it actually works out.

don't worry, you pretty much are

It's in the big-ass Dark Horse torrent with hash C6F0378E8DAE6382F093D82C76004ED04C9DF587 if you happen to have it already, but it's not collected anywhere separately on a public tracker that I could find, and DDL are non-existent. Thanks for all the leg work, man.
>>78327102
Jeeze, some fucking boyfriend you are you fucklord
I just find this whole thing hilarious in a black comedy sort of way. The dialogue and situation changes only makes it funnier.
>>78327041
Their mom is constantly trying to open up to them and get their to open up back to her
The real problem is that he doesn't feel comfortable sharing his feelings because he's never really had to and he probably fears that something will happen to him if he does
You can see that he is teased mercilessly at school and that he grew up thinking that it's better to not show emotions because nobody will make you feel more uncomfortable if you don't, which stems from the bullies leaving him alone when he doesn't do anything or say anything
Also, the scene where he drops an egg and meekly tells his mother, he is afraid that she would be mad at him for doing so, but this is all written from a perspective that's looking back, as if to say "I should have just realized I could be more open about my feelings"
probably
Thanks for reading /co/! Keep being lovely human beings!and my favorite people!
>>78327088
I'll see what I can find on the private tracker I use. If I can find it I'll mirror it for you love! If you have any other comics you want feel free to hit me up on SkypeDanDashly1or my email[email protected]

>>78327115
wat the hell man?
>>78327169
Damn, that's how it ends? Well, it sure as shit gives more backstory to Paying For It.
Great read, thanks again!
>>78327156
Why does it end here?
>>78327169
Thanks friend.
Reminds me of myself
Weird stuff but glad I read it.
Kudos
>>78327210
because it's more melancholy
>>78327169
I actually have it myself, so no rush there. I'm just trying to encourage mirrors. I'll be making some myself sometime in the next few weeks. If I come up empty on anything else I might just do that, though. Thanks.
>>78327169
Reading up about him, I feel less sad about the ending
I'm okay with the fact that he just doesn't feel comfortable sharing his emotions, he just can't help it I'm sure
>>78326342
Nobody got Chester's dick.
>>78327271
Makes me wonder how he'd react to 4chan. No negative consequences for articulating your inner thoughts and feelings on the proper board here that aren't totally predictable and benign.
>>78325407
whoa
Post the sequels now!
>girls working together to coordinate little schemes to get the guy alone and wait for him to make a move, but he's too retarded or too weird to respond properly, and the girls eventually move on
Basically my whole high school / early college life, kind of a trip to read. Definitely knew a few Carries and did a good share of dish washing and wrestling.
>>78327236
I can vaguely relate to it.
Like never admitting my feelings to people, especially strangers. But it's not as if I've ever had cute girls knocking down my door or my mother on her death bed
>>78327328
As far as I'm aware, introverted people don't like to talk about their feelings at all - even anonymously - unless they're particularly strong feelings.
>>78327529
This is real stuff, no shit like bojack or another reddit stuff.
Thanks for sharing OP, you are great.
>>78327598
depends on who you ask, most likely.
I'd probably assume for most introverted people expressing opinions probably isn't difficult when online. But what I imagine would be difficult is real talking about themselves and start digging at their own feelings and motivations for the things they do.
>>78327598
Wow. Next tell me how my dick works, professor. Yeesh.
>>78327478
We don't have space for that but what about this?
>>78327766
I wouldn't say "great" but thanks.
>>78327828
Cheer up you idiot. You shared a cool work with us. You made my night, think about it.

heads big man.
>>78327884
Art is too kitschy
Op check your numbering, some pages are out of order. P00112 says 115 in the corner, then goes back to 108 next pic
>>78329630
Yeah that seems to be the only one out of order, most likely an error when the comic was packed.
>>78329750
Sequel story time when?
>>78330082
See I'm not 100% sure what comic you are referring to. Do you mean Paying For It? As far as I know that was the only Autobiographical piece Brown did after this one so far.
>>78327529
Its odd how much I relate to this comic in a rather tragic way, even with the death of his mom. I was put in to a position by girls like this many times but I was too socially retarded to understand at the time. Hind sight is 20/20.
Took me many years to grow out of that state, many years to be able to properly cry...
>>78326117
Can someone turn this into a reaction image or something
>>78330473
I imagine if you try really hard, you could just about open mspaint all by yourself, anon.
I'm never going to use this.
>>78331583
>>78329750
Yo, Dashly, Can i request that You get that superman prime vs. Ion comic.
I always wanted to read that shit.
>>78325951
>>78326198
oh is this gonna turn dark?
>>78326790
Oh God.
>>78326798
OH GOD
>>78326807
WHAT THE FUCK MAN!!
>>78324655
I'm only a few pages in but all I can think about is that one comic about the guy who grew up with that one serial killer
>>78333299
I thought of that one too!
>>78333299
Just read the whole thing. Yeah, it strongly reminded me of the Dahmer book too. The emotional issues, the art style... Even the problems with the mom.
>>78326790
I'm out. Enjoy fuckers.
>>78327998
Fuuuck and you guys shit on cape comics. This is fucking awful, this entire thread.
>inb4 you just don't understand faget!
I guess not.
>>78335048
LOL
>>78324655
This is the guy who wrote the hooker comic.
>>78336233
Which hooker comic?
>>78336233
yeah, "paying for it"
I started reading it yesterday after this thread, but i did not finish. I dont know it reads just like an advertisment for prostitution. Will probably finish it today.
But "I never liked you" reminded me of "peepshow". You could just read that after and it would be a perfect match.
Is it bad if I read this as the adventures of /r9k/?
>>78324740
You're funny.
>>78326177
Uh-oh, we've got the Comics Police ITT!!
>>78336618
No this is some weird anti-/r9k/ since despite being a Dahmeresque Skeleton man he has three chicks express interest in him, one of which can't stop violently expelling spaghetti from every pocket on her being.
>>78326945
She is yandere as fuck. I like that.
Mega files?
>>78326790
Welp, that's my max capacity for feels. Fuck this.
>>78326936
The want never ends. It only festers.
>>78327598
I dunno, online doesn't incur that horrible social phobia that cripples you normally. You still feel awful when you say something stupid, but you don't have to avoid talking to people for a week to get over it
>>78326610
>Station To Station
Best Mom

This was the first mistake she made. This one act ruined her son.
