Why does Barry love Iris again?
They are pretty much sibling's
The stuff that programs you to not be attracted to your siblings finishes up around like 6 and he didn't start living there until he was 10. Also
>not having a pseudoincest fetish
vanilla as fuck
You just reminded me of this.
Why did Joe let Iris beat up Barry?
A police officer named Darryl Frye. Nora Allen was having an affair with him before her death. After Henry was sent to prison, Frye took him in and raised him.
It's also been theorized he's Barry's real father.
But there are biological stops in place that are supposed to keep you from being attracted to people that are as close as family
although when it comes to step siblings I guess it depends on how old you are when you meet and how long you've been living with them
Other way around. The TV Wests were cast before New 52 Wally was made black. And he was made black for the sake of synergy because they knew he'd be black in the show if he appeared (originally was going to be introduced as white, as seen in some promo art).
Reminder, Eddie is a better Barry than grant
Why does best girl have to end up with worst boy Barry?
Iris and Patty are both pretty good.
I just with Kendra had a better actress, Ciara Renee is really pretty, but not that great at selling the character.
Caitlin desperately needs another angle to her character other than "scientist who wants to jump Jay Garrick's bones"
iirc it's this cover, his hands look white
I'm still hoping she's gonna die for real and it's not a fakeout
I'm about 75% sure she's gonna survive
There is literally nothing wrong with Iris, she was pissed but damn it I don't blame her for it. I hate the trope of "We can't tell x because we have to protect them!1!" even though 'x' is still in danger because you didn't tell them!
I mean come the fuck on Barry is going to tell Patty his fucking secret after a few months of dating? really?!
Honestly none of them are bad anymore. Caitlyn's actress is cringey but the character is fine. Iris has been ok since they stopped forcing drama with her. I could see Patty getting annoying with time but she's fine so far.
Patty's got a good actress, and the way her character's set up, she has much more believable and consistent reasons for involving herself in the main plot than Felicity. Felicity being just a smart IT girl who works in Ollie's company was fun and believable. Felicity who becomes wish-fulfillment shipping bait and has magical hacker powers was fucking stupid.
Patty is a good cop because she's trained for years to be a good cop to avenger her father, and involves herself in all the meta shenanigans for that end as well.
Yeah she could be fine, there's just that potential to fuck it up with her. I was worried she was getting a little too saccharine before the episode revealed her backstory. Hopefully they can avoid drama with her.
Official Flarrow best girl list:
The "blind" date with Barry was super cute and I enjoyed it. Helped that it had Cisco being funny, and she wasn't a complete retard in not noticing that Barry actually couldn't see.
God dammit I wish they just said "fuck the canon" and kept them as a permanent couple.
I just want there to BE a permanent couple in any of these shows. It's way more interesting to see how a relationship grows and develops over time rather than just having a character bounce between affairs and hookups and go through the same romantic drama shit over and over again.
He didn't deserve all this shit. He didn't deserve to be cucked by a time machine. He didn't deserve to have to lie to his fiance. He didn't deserve to die to clean up everyone else's messes. He didn't deserve to suffer.
But he did.
He did suffer.
He did it for them.
That's why he's the best.
>Wentworth Miller devouring the scenery every time he's on camera
What fucking show are you watch?
>Iris at the top
>Thea at the bottom
>Sara second to last
>Iris at the top
>Kendra anywhere near the top five
>Kendra not at the fucking bottom
>Felicity not second to last
>Iris at the top
K I L L Y O U R S E L F
I think it's kind of early to do full endgame, so I wish they would lighten up on the romance in general. But that type of growth is why the last couple of seasons of Smallville were decent. Just Clark and Lois being together without bullshit happening.
>All this Felicity and Iris hate
They are the two best girls of their respective shows
Don't troll me like that man, I'm ticklish.
Iris is fine, but Felicity is undoubtedly the worst girl
She's better because she's not the romantic lead anymore, so she gets to do other stuff to round out her character other than "I'm conflicted over my attraction to you" and "Oh no you lied to protect me HOW COULD YOU" that every romantic lead in a CW drama has to go through.
>Felicity being just a smart IT girl who works in Ollie's company was fun and believable.
That's it right here. When she's just the tech girl who's kind of quirky but still doing her own thing, she's alright. Her relationship with Oliver and her batshit fans ruined the character.
He's only been in the show for thirty seconds, calm your tits.
This is a really nice change of pace considering we can't fucking talk about Supergirl without waifufags fapping all over the place.
So who did it better.
Best smallville girl or Felicity?
Laurel hasn't been bad this season mainly because she's not the focus of the story.
Fuck that Canary Cry though, someone needs to slap the special effects team and tell them to get their shit together and start actually portraying it in a way that makes it seem like it fucking DOES something useful.
He's not going to be like Jenditti Wally because he's not fucking 12 and he's not going to be looking at Barry like a stand in male parental figure and I'm guessing he's not going to be a teen delinquent
He's probably not going to be a whole lot like any version of white Wally either though, unless they write him as the jokey DCAU Wally
Flash has a legitimately threatening villain like Arrow, but it also has a better romantic subplot between the main character and the current romantic lead,, which puts it over Arrow.
>She got exactly what she asked for and ate shit for it, proving Ollie right yet again
Feels good man.
From what I can incur from this thread, this show is heavily based on shipping bullshit?
Nah there's some good superheroing going on in both series too, but waifus and shipping is what we wind up bitching about and driving conflict that drives discussion in these threads.
>complaining about shipping
>posting a Supernatural gif

Haven't watched Gotham, so I can't judge there. Did see a scene where Michael Chiklis fires a bunch of crooked cops that was pretty cool though. If I had to pick a best show of the stuff I've seen, it'd have to be The Flash.
I need to catch up with it over the break, I already caught up with Supergirl and liked it, even if I still think Flash is better, but I've heard nothing but good things about Gotham S2.
>doesn't accept itself as a comic book universe
Did you even SEE the Rogues episode we just had? That's comic booky shit right there and the show seemed to have a lot of fun with it.
The Flash skews itself. It never really feels like it's lifted off the page. It feels translated, and fucking Cisco, who I love and think is one of the best characters in the CWverse, is a huge part of that.
Gotham feels full blooded.
The number of the beast can't possibly be wrong.
I think the best I can try and describe it is like Gotham feels like someone gave the actors comic pages and told them to read off them.
The Flash has to think about how to write stuff for a television audience and how to make stuff palatable.
That's not what I'm trying to say. Try to follow along man.
>The Flash has to think about how to write stuff for a television audience and how to make stuff palatable.
When they solved the problem of having a bunch of explosive presents planted by the Trickster posing as Santa in random houses by using quantum tunneling to transpose the magnetic field unique to objects that have crossed through the Multiverse to suck them all into a wormhole that was created by a time paradox ripped open from last season, I don't think the writers had "palatable" on their mind.
Yeah, but the thing you're missing is that Trickster is nothing but a bomber in the show.
If Trickster was in Gotham, you can bet he'd have those other crazy things in his arsenal.
No one wears white gloves for spray painting.
He also wasn't wearing them when the issue came out (covers are done first for solicit purposes, obviously). It was a last second decision forced through in a vain hope that the show would drum up interesting in the book.
I liked Eobard better just because the buildup was so good, and probably mostly his scene
killingCisco. I still like Captain Cold though for his gloriously shameless ham performance.
Forgot about Patty, she's probably between 4 and 5 on the list.
>I don't like something
>it must be a meme
Linda originally existed solely to be a romantic interest. Despite that she was actually a rather well written character and returned a handful of times, the last of which as Dr. Light was awesome. I wished she'd kept the suit and joined team Flash.
You're assuming and while she does have a nice ass, she is more than just her ass. As I said above, I enjoyed the episode with her as Dr. Light and I wanted to see her stick around and join the team, learning the suit, fighting crime, kinda as a sidekick for Barry, but I guess he's getting Wally. I'd have rather had Linda.
So, no. Not a meme. Everything you hate is not a meme.
What the actual fuck is he going to do? He cant be the flash because Barrys is the flash and no where near dying, he cant be Kid Flash because he's not a kid, and they cant consistently special effect 2 speedsters AND ZOOM
>dont think Iris is all that
all of my friends who watch the show go crazy over her too. I dont get it. She is attractive, but not as much as they or people on here say, at least not to me
and before you say anything, because I know this will come up,
It's probably more of a character introduction for this season, focusing on him getting to know Joe and Iris and vice-versa. Have the Flash is Barry reveal at some stage which ignites his desire to recreate the accident.
Probably hold off on giving him Speedforce until Season 3.
Thanks based anons, you defended me when i was getting bombarded by flashfags
A normal teen would have even used her panties to stroke one out. Plus spying on her changing, shower, etc.
But this Barry was Beta-Barry for too long, probably didn't do anything.
Most only started watching Arrow because they heard Barry would be on. So pretty much as soon as he got his own show. High and mighty despite it being plagued by a lot of the same shit they chew into Arrow for. They're both just time passers at best.
I love that she's charitable and believes in the power of the wish. Only way to explain it.
>watch flash season 1 on netflix
>use gf's hulu account to watch the second season
>it only has the first two episodes and the three latest episodes of season 2
Do companies just want me to pirate everything or are they retarded?
Fuck she is smoking.
She might just replace Waller as my chocolate waifu.
It's changed over the years. As some other anons have said, before Flash: Rebirth his parents had actually outlived him.
After Rebirth, it isn't known who raised him after his mom was killed/dad went to prison.
And then in the New 52, he was raised by Darryl Frye after his dad went to jail.
>But he doesn't love her, he's all about pivoting the Spivot now
Barry still loves Iris, he just has to move on with his life.
He would permanently drop Patty like a hot potatoe if Iris offered to let him sniff her vagina for just three seconds.
