>the next batch of Telltale licensed games will include a Batman and a Marvel title. Telltale's previous games include The Wolf Among Us, Tales From The Borderlands, Game Of Thrones, Minecraft: Story Mode, and The Walking Dead.
Hype?
I would have been a few games ago, but I lost interest when it got obvious how quickly your choices are made pointless.
It's hard to get invested when nothing you say or do matters.

>Batman
Well, i'm already bored
>>78284009
he won't have prep time
>>78284024
Prep time is New Game+ exclusive.
>more Batshit
Maybe it will be like Lego Batman 3 and they'll just attach him to the title so a GL game will sell.

More like DLC exclusive
fuck batman
i wonder what Marvel lore they will focus on

Great Lake Avengers
Telltale should have done a Gotham City Sirens ..ehmm.. Game. That comic was perfect for something like Telltale, especially the Detective Riddler part

This.
Telltale games are more glorified "movies" with little variation.
If Telltale would show some balls they would give more choices that actually affect the game. Like in their GoT game in the beginning (slightly spoiler..it is like after the first hour or so) You can play as the biggest asshat that pisses on Ramsay Snow. The end? You get killed with a dagger through your throat.
But then you can play as a nice guy who is friendly and understanding to Ramsay. The aftermatch? You get killed by a dagger through the throat.
Lets get some real choices that matters. In their Batman game for example. Let us decide if we want to exit the theater or not. Let us decide to kill Joker or not, romance Selina or some other chick.
TL;DR: let choices matter and not be small lines

Seriously. What the fuck was Minecraft's Story Mode story??
>>78283669
no
rehashing the same system over and over just for "feels" is moronic. It wasn't even that good with the Walking Dead games.
>>78283669
>Telltale

>mfw they'll never make a 3-episode adventure game where you play as Clark, Lois & Jimmy trying to uncover the same plot in their own episode.
>>78283669
They should do a Gotham Central game really.
>Telltale will never be good again and make season 4 of Sam & Max
It hurts
>Still no Venture Bros Telltale game.

>>78283669
I'm not into visual novels.
>>78283669
>Hype?
no, I want an action game. Whatever they make, it will not be fun to play
>>78283669

welp, Telltale burned through their image in 3 years. I hope they at least got some money before people got tired of their shit and moved on
>>78291486
well technically...
>>78294743
Were those games any good? I figure the novelty of playing Brock might've worn off once you realised you were playing poker, the most overrated card game ever.
>>78296933
You're not playing any of them, you're just another player sitting at the table and playing against them. It's got some pretty funny dialogue.
>>78283669
Fuck no. Games aren't nearly as open ended as they claim. You have the illusion of choice. Fuck that mouse maze bullshit, along with its lags, skips and freezes.
Only telltale games I've played are Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Hector and Strong Bad's game.
Their satisfying puzzle games at best and satifying visual novels at worst.
What's everyone getting so bent out of shape about?
