She has been light sometimes too. I would say in the majority of appearances she's usually that typical brown shade rather than particularly dark or light though. Big 2 colorists don't get a lot of instruction a lot of the time, there's not really a character bible that they can use as reference so they mostly just wing it. Editors are supposed to step in when a mistake is made, but it seems kind of like a coin flip. Hair and eye color always gets fucked up too and you have shit like pic related being published where they even forget which character is which.

It would be cool if they aired the cartoon maybe before the Arrow episode though. Until 8pm the CW always just airs syndicated rerun shows like Two and a Half Men or Family Feud. The Vixen cartoon all together is about 24 minutes long, so just air it at 7:30pm (advertise it'll be happening of course) and then 8pm we get Arrow. People who are curious or want to know more will google it up, find the cartoon and decide to watch it or not.
