I still think it would be nice if Dipper stopped wearing hats every day after this summer. Even though Ford was wrong about a lot, he did set a good example for Dipper by embracing his weirdness instead of hiding it. If Dipper leaves Gravity Falls more secure about himself, and his birthmark by extension, he shouldn't feel the need to hide it anymore.

On a mostly unrelated note, I wish they'd included his birthmark in the flashback in EfR. There were so many visual cues tied to it in D&MvtF that it was weird how it suddenly didn't exist two episodes later. I mean, I guess you could argue that Dipper's birthmark was part of what made him shaving his head for Mabel so great. But the way it's straight up missing in multiple shots makes me suspect that whoever storyboarded the episode forgot about it altogether.

From a bunch of threads back, I'm the person who was planning on placing all the episodes together with certain edits making it like a continuous movie.

The file didn't save right, leaving black screens where there were supposed to be scenes. I'll look into getting a new video editor that is decent (any recommendations for a video editor for a laptop that might lag on more advanced ones? Windows Live Movie Maker is out of the question)

Speaking of animation errors in Escape from Reality, I noticed several shots where some characters' eyes were visibly darker than others. Usually Dipper, but it happens to Wendy and Soos as well. It's not a lighting thing, and it's not consistent throughout the episode.

Pretty much. I know, I'm late to this conversation, but the only reason Giffany gets so much sympathy ('GIFFANY DID NOTHING WRONG') is because she's an attractive woman.

If it was a male computer program stalking and being possessive over a female manchild, it would be viewed as a much more predatory thing and no one would stan for Giffany. Same thing with Darlene being left alive and capable of continuing to routinely murder people. But abusive and predatory behavior from a female isn't viewed in a serious/critical light, even when it really should be.

Another issue with the same episode is Wendy having dark blue pupils. This time I don't have an answer, it just doesn't make sense. And then there's this scene where she has a blue outline the whole time, even in the scene after where they come through the door. My only possible reasoning for this would be whoever animated her starts with blue outlines for some reason, and they just didn't get fixed. Or they had some transparency errors and the production image they drew her on had that color background or something, and her black outlines were transparent. It's really a mystery.
