Finally finished! And according to this >>/co/78198305 it took me just under 6 hours. I can't believe it took that long, but I think the outcome is amazing. I'm proud of how it turned out.
If you see any issues or things I should fix, tell me and I'll try, but I'm afraid the hand on the journal is as good as I can get it, I spent around 5-10 minutes trying to make it as good as I could.

I am not a 4chan regular. The only times I used 4chan was to browse the cute male category when I was 14. I doubt I'll continue to visit when the /gfg/ threads become idle.

I got into Gravity Falls in June after watching SU and thinking that it was pretty fun, and was curious to know what other cartoons are popular right now. Needless to say I became hooked from the first episode lol

I was not posting my art on the internet before (except for a few things I made) because I lack confidence. After browsing Reddit I saw people speaking about how terrible the community in 4chan is so I was curious and came here. I was banned in my second day due to posting porn (I think it's hilarious). I thought it was a good way to overcome my fears of posting drawings online because it is anonymous, and I enjoy doodling things for my friends. Later I started uploading more to my secondary blog and I just ended up stuck here. Your jokes/way of speaking is hilarious to me and I quote things to people everyday. Thanks for caring! lol

But seriously. I'd prefer a younger Latino comedian who looks a little more like Soos. Maybe an unknown. Iglesias is pushing 40, and the shape of his face and nose is all wrong. I understand wanting to cast a talented comedian, but he doesn't seem like a particularly good fit aside from his weight (which why all the fat chaser are panting after him, I gather?).

It's always nice to hear when 4chan manages to make a positive impact on someone's life for a change. I used to have a lot of anxiety about posting anything online, too. Being able to blend in with a faceless mob, and getting positive responses from complete strangers, was downright therapeutic for me.

I hope the confidence you gain from here sticks with you even after /gfg/ is gone, because it would be a real shame not to share your talent with the world.

Honestly 4chan is great due to its availability of free speech. On tumblr and reddit, or other public forums it's very easy to attract large masses of hatred and ironically, cruelty, for stating something that is considrably an unpopular opinion. (pointing out to tumblr's horrifying nature of hating the different.)
What I like about 4chan is the fact that it's okay to see pretty much everything without concequeces. The last time I tried to discuss touchy subjects with my irl friends ( they are a bunch of tumblrinas sadly.) things became very dramatic and grim. I guess /gfg/ is nicer in general because GF itself, especially with the adult viewers, require some sort of an intellectualic skill to actually become obsessed with it, refering to the brainstorming ideas and theories people used to discuss. I'm used to even longer hiatuses in other fandoms, so it doesn't seem as bad to me, I guess. To put it in GF terms, though, it would be close to the length of time between the airing of NWHS and AToTS. That's not terrible compared to past hiatuses.

Grenda's with the other survivors, and she's already played that role twice (in DD&MD and TLM). At this point, I'd be more impressed if they did something else with her. Especially since she's redundant on a team with Wendy, Stan, and Soos. There's probably a fair chance of Candy doing something quirky but useful, too.

Pyronica will almost certainly get background lines similar to the ones she had in Weirdmageddon and EfR.

Those are the least likely, in my opinion. Mabel already apologized to Dipper at the end of EfR. Unless Bill guilts her to the point where she remembers handing over the Rift and confesses that to Dipper, I can't see them rehashing that scene.

Okay, so putting aside the question of whether this is real concept art from the series finale or just fan made, do you think this is all going to come down to a big Dipper vs. Bill showdown, or will Stan and Mabel actually get to do something?

So I've read your fanfic, you talented anon! <3 and oh my god I loved it so much. I loved the way you introduced Mabel's enthusiasm at the beginning and Dipper felt like himself unlike in many other fanfics I've read.

Dipper's awkwardness is love. I am a sucker for shy/awkward guys and you totally nailed Dipper's character in this.
What I loved the most is Mabel's dedication to her brother's wellness and how she invests her time into helping him and improve his skills with the girl. Also, kudos for the little mermaid reference (Y) (Y) (Y)
It's so hard to describe how much I love how you made a build up to things. I did not expect Dip to end up so unlucky lolol I'm sorry but the addition to how he was circled and being humilliated and photo'd was just PERFECT. I always thought his birthmark was his "object of mockery" but unfortunately they never showed it on actual episodes. Not even in Escape from Reality. You somehow created a closure to me with this lololol

I'm currently working on an AU about Weirdmaggedon Part 2, where the Bubble is much more aggressive and personal in trying to make Dipper succumb to it. The pace of writing has been glacial on account of test revision, fitness training, job interviews, etc. But I've made a commitment to have it done by the New Year.

Dipper is a character with a really dynamic personality in a way, unlike the other characters in the show in my opinion, so that really makes him relateable. But not everyone can write him in a beliveable, in-character way. And this is coming from someone who have read quite an amount of Dipper involving fanfics so you gotta take my word haha

At this point, I feel like Ford is going to be most useful as an unwitting villain. So sure that his way is right that he's blind to his wrongs. As it's been so far, he's just been a very bland MacGuffin delivery system.

We hardly know anything about Ford. He's only talked to Mabel once, and recently they've been focusing on the fact he thinks Mabel is a foil to Dipper and is holding him back from his true purpose in life, becoming JUST LIKE HIM.

I could see this man accidentally become filled with anger and do something. It doesn't mean he did it on purpose, he could have done it out of "spur of the moment" or whatever. He's been shown to be cold-hearted at times.

It seems hard to think about him hitting a child, but we know nothing of his personality along those roads.

Like when he walked up to his own twin brother who was smiling with open arms and punched him in the fucking face? Ford isn't a Jedi. His anger at Stan over the science fair has affected how he acts towards people for over forty years. Not burning the journals and dismantling the portal was not the logical thing to do. Ford was too proud of his work to throw it away even though Bill was after him for weeks, maybe months just trying to get him turned on.

This is a family-friendly cartoon. A disney cartoon. they would never do something violent against children directly by an adult figrue.

Pretty sure there's a connection with Ford not wanting Stan to burn the journals, but then after he gives them to Dipper it happens anyway. Why else would Ford have given the journals to Dipper? Because the plot had to happen that way. It can be assumed it was for Dipper to protect himself with, but it never happened in the episode, and usually the episodes follow a straight-forward plot like that.
