Did this ever happen, or is it just fan art?
They went on one date and Peter ruined it by saying something stupid, if I recall.
People still ship it, and I think its a good ship, but its not canon.
>>78188868
he didn't ruin it, she just got mind wiped of everything and turned into a cardboard soldier before they had a chance to go on a second date
>>78188868
Carol wanted his dick bad but editorial stepped in.
Isn't she fucking War Machine?
>>78189109
Isn't she a lesbian now? Or is that just the haircut?
>>78189141
If she was actually gay she'd have one interesting thing about her.
>>78189141
No
>>78189109
Yes
>>78188811
kinda, they went in a date, and they liked each other. It's a shame she never got some of that Spider-cock.
>>78189141
just the haircut it seems
>>78188811
That image is literally a shoop of Spidey kissing Black Cat.
>>78189034
Really? I thought it was editorial mandate that every woman is supposed to love him.
>>78189034
>Carol wanted his dick bad
Name one single woman who doesn't.
>>78188811
Reed started setting it up the KSD came in and turned her into a lesbian with a cat
>>78189141
one of the few characters fans want to be a lesbian but isn't
>>78191844
>one of the few
Every character has atleast a small amount of people who want them to be or is convinced they're gay.
>>78188946
You forgot that SpOck showed up before she was mind wiped.
My personal head canon is that the reason he was so bitter when Kamala asked about it that one time is because nobody told him about her mind wipe, so as far as he knows she went from liking him to acting like she barely knows him after one date.
>>78191694
She wasn't lesbian in KSD's shit
Its Anka that's tuning her into one
>>78191888
It definitely helps if you were ever written by Claremont.
>>78191944
Anka just gave her a haircut he's not the writer.
>>78188811
Comic book characters aren't real.
It never happened.
>>78192051
Why the fuck couldn't they just keep this hairstyle? Why did she have to go full dyke mode? It doesn't make any sense.
>>78192067
we're not real either
anything can happen
>>78192166
They told Anka to make her look sexy. Anka is gay, so he made her look like a guy
>>78192166
I don't know.
>>78192177
No you're real.
Your parents disappointment in you is also real.
>>78192384
we are all 3d doodles on a 4 dimensional piece of paper, and none of us are canon
>>78192166
>dyke cuts aren't sexy
I dunno man, I think they're pretty great
>>78192435
>none of us are canon
speak for yourself
>>78192436
When done right, when not they get called dyke cuts.
That's the difference between short hair and dyke cuts.
>>78188811
Just how new ARE you guys to not recognize that pose?
>>78194045
I was under the impression they meant the ship in general.
>>78194045
Literally no need to bring it up though
>>78194148
I thought Spider-Man was grown up now. Does he just always act like a teenager?
>>78194959
Only when someone fucks with his family
short haired hotties are hot. dumb asses.
>>78197441
Short hair doesn't make a woman hot.
A hot woman makes short hair hot.
Carol doesn't deliver on it for some reason, maybe because the artist just don't make it look attractive for some reason.
Dumb shit.
>>78194959
Ever since Brand New Day happened either the writers are intentionally trying to write him like a teenager or it's an editorial thing or both.
>>78192320
My god that ass just does not quit
>>78194148
>not posting the rest of the issue
Cmon anon show us when they stop pretending to be put together adults, start beating up bad guys and bullshit over their love of junk food
>>78198914
Impromptu storytime for this negro
>>78197490
I think a lot of women are ugly with long hair but hot with short hair.
Also look up Rocafort's Carol, he's incapable of drawing someone ugly.
>>78194148
>can't talk shop
Why the fuck not?
>>78192678
Nah the boycut is cute m8. Posting ugly dykes doesn't mean it looks bad on people with better facial aesthetics even more masculine ones.
>>78191432
See, the thing is he's not a colored person . He's a white man and must suffer.
>>78198958
It depends though I don't think I've seen a woman who's ugly with long hair but hot with short, though I haven't seen a lot vice versa either and the few cases I've seen they were just plain bad haircuts. Only one I can really think of is Ginnifer Goodwin who I thought was cute with longer hair but her pumpkin head can't work a pixie cut.
>>78198984
That's pretty much my point though.
>>78198968
I kinda wanna see Peter and Carol go on another date now that he's a billionaire philanthropist. I'd like to see how he'd do up a date if he had money.
>>78199016
>>78199020
Oh these poor, stupid sons of bitches. They have to know two goons like them can't take Ms. Marvel.
Did posting go to shit for a while there?
>>78199043
Yeah.
>>78199015
See I am full blown the opposite of you, Anne Hathaway did nothing for me until the short hair, Charlize theron did nothing for me until Mad Max, the woman from Ex Machina stops being attractive to me at the end of the film when she has her real hair.
I think it applies as a near absolute to almost any woman with stronger facial features though, they need to play to their strengths and have the more masculine look, because androgyny is more attractive than a failed attempt to be overly feminine.
>>78199074
>that noticeable drop in quality
>speech bubble going to the man instead of the woman
>>78199074
>>78199081
>>78199084
I'm a die-hard Spider/Cat but this is adorable
>>78199013
Not having an archnemesis is considered bad in the marvel superheroes community or is just Peter being Peter?
>>78199121
You seem to have a full on aversion to long hair though, whereas I'm just don't place inherent worth in it. Like I said I never blamed short hair itself in almost every case, just a bad haircut.
Now I'm looking for examples because you got me on it .
Scarlett Johanssen doesn't look like she can rock it either but I'm not really into her in general except like that ONE picture of her.
I actually really like Charlize's Furiosa look. It's fucking sex and Ferraria doesn't really work as well with her long hair though she still looks good just not as good.
>>78199149
PRobably Peter being Peter, I can't see them wearing the idea that someone wants to murder you as a badge of honor.
What's with all the improv-Carol storytimes recently?
Not that I mind, I like Reed's run. Here's some more Carol/Peter.
>>78199149
it reflects pretty badly on your ability to stop evil if you don't have half a dozen people that have devoted their whole lives towards making you suffer
>>78191694
Like everything else, Carol’s romantic life was an aimless mess in KSD’s run.
She actually flirted with the idea of Carol and Peter both in the first issue and in a two issue team-up in Avenging Spider-Man (probably the best she has written besides her first arc in Avengers Assemble).
Then, out of nowhere, she brought back from limbo Frank Gianelli, her love interest from Claremont series in the seventies. Then I guess she got bored with him, and hooked her up with Rhodey for three whole pages before sending her into space. Because they’re both pilots you see. It’s brilliant.
>>78199121
I'm the same way. Short hair really makes strong facial features pop. It can also evoke a sense of confidence/sportiness or a more masculine side, which I find really attractive.
>>78199283
>>78198967
>"I was dead, not suffering from amnesia"
OH THE IRONY
>>78199297
>takes in a female
>doesn't assume female body shape
wat
The End.
>>78199281
Unf, Antje is definitely another one where I didn't like her before the haircut
>>78199482
She works either way for me. In fact medium hair Master race for her.
>You'll never wake up to her quietly saying "Guten Morgen" in her cute little voice
>>78192678
Rachael Maddow is Peter Parker.
>>78199312
So I guess everyone forgot that Gargan is superhuman without the Symbiote, huh?
>>78199594
Doesn't seem very relevant.
He just kind of stands around until it comes back to him.
>>78199654
People just seemed to have forgotten and thought that Mac's time as Scorpion was all suit. I mean, the process that made Mac scorpion also gave him enhanced durability, but it apparently doesn't matter considering that SpOck punched his jaw clean off.
That was a fun ship, but just happened to show off more of Carol. And the "Spidey can't date a super-person-not-named-Black-Cat because it take off the "common person" element" mandatory.
I'd still like to see they interact a little more nowadays, though. They had an Avenging Spider-man issue after she switched "ms" for "captain", right?
>>78200008
Yes.
>>78199541
please don't remind me that I will never fuck her
>>78199694
Peter's body IS crazy strong compared to most street level people.
>>78200008
>Implying Spidey is even allowed to date Black Cat
the last time they even had a fling Slott went out of his way to have her constantly remind him that it was nothing but casual sex, nevermind that she would have moved mountains for him pre-OMD
>>78200119
Yeah, but that moment was such a "fuck you." Peter is insanely strong, but the point for decades was that his enemies, physically, were better. In the early Scorpion fights, Peter almost broke his hand on Mac because he threw a haymaker, and Mac hardly stopped. It's really shitty when writers don't like a character, so suddenly that character who was a top tier threat is immediately weak.
>>78200160
I suspect it was Marvel Knights: Spider-Man that spawned the notion. It was when Gargan first got the symbiote, but also when he first got characterized as someone insecure about not being taken seriously as a threat, which lead to his Thunderbolts characterization, which led to him being depicted as a weak tryhard after that
>>78200153
I was talking in general. And I keep myself specially away of everything BND related.
Nowaday, even the current Liz "Norman wannabe" Allen could be an interesting twist as love interest.
>>78200008
Spidey just need more of these. I can't remember last time he had one of these.
>>78199283
Holy shit, Carol's fucking metal.
>>78200160
Sorry, this.
>>78200119
Most of Peter's enemies are stronger than him, so it is easy to forget how strong he is absolute terms. Tearing his webbing "like tissue paper" was the usual opening feat of strength back in the Lee-Ditko days.
>spideyXcarol never ever
thanks marvel, you shit
>>78201791
Woah friend, there`s still a chance for SpiderMarvel.
:^)
>>78201884
That's worse than it not happening.
How is Peter's relationship with Jessica Drew?
>>78202452
Practically nonexistent.
I think they flirted a few times in the 70s.
>>78202469
At least they interacted in that ANAD Spider-Woman issue
>>78198957
so fucking corny, but I love the amazing spider-date. They are very much opposites though, she's better with Simon
>>78191667
Aunt May
>>78199283
>straight to the point
See, this is why Carol is good, she doesn't bullshit around just goes right for the goal. Thanks poster, I am one of the few Carol fans, I really liked Reeds run. I have not seen this before though
>>78199297
artist dropped the ball on some symbiote cheesecake..so dissapoint
>>78202469
What story is that page from? Looks hilarious
>>78203204
Reed's Carol is great.
>>78199401
that last page was so fucking cute, love it.
>>78203339
Cru story was the best one too
>>78203309
Avengers or New Avengers during Siege.
>>78203204
>>78203339
Reed's run is alright. It has some great moments, but mostly just bland.
>>78203800
sure, it had some filler but it also hit some good high notes.
>Cru-Brood
>Warbird
>Puppetmaster
Also, what happened to her sidekick that seemed to have insane healing factor?
>>78204117
The Skrull, you mean?
>>78191888
Yea just ask the Iceman fans. And somehow the crack fictioneers won so who knows, maybe they'll make Carol a butch some day.
>>78204544
He was a Skrull???? Never got explained in Reeds run, I thought he just vanished
