Just tossing it out there's going to be a stream of The Star Wars Holiday Special at http://vaughnlive.tv/elusive

I'm also taking suggestions of other christmas shows/movies that I should download for future streaming.

Amazon also sellsadult toysI took soo many calls from little old people trying to find the right one or middle aged people getting really uncomfortable saying it's just a gag gift for someone. Heck something like 8 years ago I had a roommate that bought a special translation of the bible for his mother and under the "people who bought this also bought" section was ababy jesus butt plug.

Wish I could remember what account I used to do my Christmas stream last year, but I think it's lost forever. But here's the stuff I did:
>Sonic Christmas Blast
>Low Tidings from Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjackand the best Christmas episode of anything ever
>X-Mas Story and Tale of Two Santas from Futuama
>Doug's Christmas Story, because why the hell not?
>Livin' on Reds, Vitamin C, and Propane; and Pretty, Pretty Dresses from King of the Hill
>Phineas and Ferb's Christmas Vacation
>Christmas with the Joker
>Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas from Community
>How the Grinch Stole Christmas
>A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas
>Arnold's Christmas (Hey Arnold)
>Comfort and Joy from Justice League
>Invasion of the Secret Santas from Batman: Brave and the Bold
>Mickey's Christmas Carol
>Regular Show Christmas Special
>'Twas the Fight Before Christmas from Powerpuff Girls
>The Night Before Cave Christmas from Super Mario Bros Super Show
If you put together an ultimate Christmas marathon for the weekend, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

You download the puzzle box, you download the tool, you "install" the tool, you put the box on the tmp directory, you run the tool, you write the command gpg Box1.zip.gpg, you try your answer to the first riddle as a password. Also, don't use numbers and every word starts with a Capital Letter.

Well not every word. In most cases the password will be of the following forms

Makes me sad.
So Grayson vol 2 isn't getting a hardcover?
WELL NOW MY SHELF IS GUNNA LOOK STUPID THANKS DC
Happy Holidays, /co/!!
Reposting mah list: 3W120D9EI4D4V
>>78019175
It's ok, I had to buy Venom vol 2 hardcover because the paperback literally doesn't exist and they didn't make the third trade into a hardcover so no matter what I do it'll look dumb
>>78019175
Wait, what?! Dammit DC, why? WHY? Now I'm gonna have to double dip on Volume 1. DouChe Comics.
>>78012564
>John Cena as Captain Marvel/SHAZAM
Captain Marvel with a ball cap?
>The Rock as Black Adam
Bald Black Adam raising one eyebrow maybe? Have him saying "Can you smell what the Rock of Eternity is cooking?"
>>78019231
I mean I could be wrong but Amazon only has paperback up for pre-order but yeah sadly I'll probably be buying the first volume again.
>>78019221
I seriously don't get this lol, why not just stick paperback? It's cheaper, sure they deteriorate faster, but at least everyone has consistency.
>>78019175
>>78019221
I've mixed up whether or not I'm buying a series in HC or PB that my shelf is completely messed up.It really doesn't bother me.
Anyone mind if I story time while I wait for Divekick matches?
>>78019291
I choose to take the silence as an all clear
>>78019256
Are you asking me why I didn't stick to paperback or why they don't just always release things in paperback?
>>78019347
>why they don't just always release things in paperback?
This one, no offense to you!
>>78019368
Usually they do, as far as I can tell. They just want to milk as much money as possible out of their prospective buyers by releasing the hardcover six months prior
>>78019175
One oddball book won't kill your shelf. Two one the other hand.
My shelves are wonky as shit and I'm still fine with them.
>>78019243
I had this very conversation with a coworker on Friday. Well, the characters and wrestlers playing them, but not the art.
How is everyone doing tonight?
>>78019545
I think wonky books give a shelf character!
>>78019554
Perked up when I saw this running. Otherwise, it's a quiet evening.
>>78019554
I'm doing well. I forced myself to go back to the gym after a 2 month break and my family got a Christmas tree today
>>78019606
That can be a good thing sometimes though!
>>78019615
good job anon
>>78019620
No argument there.
Can I do another or is that not kosher?

Shitty day feeling a bit less shitty hanging out here. Watching A Nightmare on Elm Street for 13 Days of Creepmas going on over at a forum I'm on. Part of a 4 month long movie marathon.

Night, Dan!
>>78020001
We start in September with Sci-Fi-September, then 31 Nights of Halloween, followed by Arnold SchwarzeNovember, and we end with 13 Days of Creepmas which overlaps with DVDecember. We try to watch one movie a night, or at least an amount of movies equal the the days of the month. DVDecember is a way for my friends and I who collect way too much to run through our to watch piles and try a whittle them down a bit. I got 5 full piles 3 feet high each, so I'm shit outta luck getting through them, but these last 3 plus months have put a small dent in them. Doesn't help I replace them constantly thanks to cheap shit at the SA and GW stores.
And thanks. How have you been?
>>78019821
Ouch? Also, how do you make it. Is it a splash of OJ? Orange zest?
>>78020271
I've been good, the holidays are always great and I have a new job to look forward to and a fair number of parties in the next few weeks

4 oz Prosecco or other sparkling white wine
Pour in blood orange juice, top with sparkling wine.
Brandy Frost
1 oz brandy
1/2 oz white creme de cacao
1/4 oz peppermint Schnapps
2 oz milk
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and pour into martini glass. Garnish with a candy cane.
Been doing some heavy lurking today. Woke up dizzy and with a headache that still hasn't gone away. I didn't know you could send thank you's through amazon, but some anon did. Made me feel better knowing that the gift lightened up your shitty day. If you're still around, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
>>78020364
Might have to pick up a chocolate bar from work and some hot cocoa.
>>78020532
I need to expand my booze shelf.
>>78020535
Feel better bro. You're probably gonna get a lot of those now that people know they can do that.
>>78020603
Accumulate different bottles of booze over a period of time, drink a variety of different things so you don't go through any single bottle too quickly, and replace as needed. I find that to be the least financially painful way to keep an assortment of booze around, such that I can usually make most cocktails I find.
>>78020535
That is super cool!
>>78020532
Have a friend coming home from Canada in two weeks and I am keeping track of all of these. Thanks anon!
>>78020603

Wouldn't that be more Captain Marvel as John Cena, etc? Anyway, I'll do something...

She has impeccable taste.
>>78020132
>>78020364
Definitely need to try this.
>>78020535
I felt the same earlier; a little dizzy/lightheaded and a mild headache. I took some Moltrin, watched Fargo, and promptly passed out. Just woke up wide awake for some reasonafter an intense dream of a jet dogfight.
>>78020615
No worries dude. They're good for holiday parties or get-togethers. Fun to break out drinks that everyone hasn't had a million times before.
>>78020649
Certainly beats the after shock mixed shots I was gonna have on deck.
>>78020603
I expect my inbox to explode.
>>78020619
I wish my headache dream was an intense dogfight. All I remember beforewaking up was trying to put on underwear that was way too small, but being like I can do this!
Always love seeing these threads on /co/, it's pretty much a christmas tradition at this point.
I plan to gift people based on how many people gift me stuff, so if i get two things, two other /co/mrades gets things. Merry Christmas, guys!

>>78020614
I'll check out the local liquor store by work this week, see if anything tickles my fancy.
>>78020615
Just got a few things left over from the years, I don't really drank much to begin with but I did like Chivas Regal. I have 3 bottles of Dewars White Label from the late fucking 60s, though. One still has a sealed tax stamp. I've been sticking to hard ciders and beers lately like Blue Moon and this grapefruit halfabison since I'm more of a social drinker and this is easier to stock. Will buy the occasional cocktail if the time is right (such as a bad movie at a bar).
>>78020715
but...WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!
For the few who might still be around, what are you hoping to get the most this season, be it from you wishlist or otherwise?
>>78020807
>I don't really drank much to begin
Am I drinking now? No, I'm just stupid/
>>78020812
I literally don't care what I get. I just want to visit home and have the food and drinks. Even my wish list was hastily thrown together from stuff I just spontaneously decided might be cool.
>>78020812
I'm hoping to get the Eternaut. It looks amazing
>>78020854
That's cool. Are you away at school?
>>78020866
>Eternaut
Never heard of it. What's it about?
>>78020812
Huh, I never really think of what I really want. I tend to just go with the flow of the holiday.
I guess what I really want is just some time off with some friends. Catch up on movies, plays some video games (only time I really ever do), drink, eat, watch wrestling, waste days. Shit like that. Can't do that much anymore due to shitty work schedules.
>>78020866
I just found out about this. Threw it up on my wishlist. Had to. If it's anything like what Fantagraphics did with Cannon I'm for it.
Cold popped back up, but by and large I'm doing much better.
Reading various comics to relax and watching cartoons.
>>78020949
Not at school anymore, I work, but I still think of my family's place as home.
>>78020812
Just hoping that the kids have a fun Christmas and our first family holiday in Alaska is a memorable one.
>>78020950
I'm pretty much the same. My family keeps asking what I want, but I keep saying I don't know, mostly because if there's something I want I'd just buy it myself.
>>78020952
I was sick as dog for about a week last month. It's all about the Dayquil and Mucinex.
>>78020975
I'm sure it will be. How do you like it there? Never been, but always wanted to visit.
>>78021006
That happens to me with gifts. The stuff I would ask for are either unrealistic so I won't ask, or stuff I'd just put on a list (or things I just plain forgot about.)
I've been downing so much tea and soup I'm starting to get sick of it.
>>78020949
I'm honestly not sure. I heard about it from a thread on here about a month ago and read the first few pages from this link http://issuu.com/fantagraphics/docs/eternaut_issuu?e=0/31468993 an anon gave. I know the author was Argentinian and was disappeared by his government. To my knowledge this is the first time it's ever been translated into english. It's fairly cheap too.
>>78021027
I was doing tea with honey every morning and that would clear up my sore throat pretty well. Dayquil and Mucinex definitely helps with cough/congestion. If its sinus probably want to get some of that Tylenol Sinus stuff.
>>78021033
Huh, might have to look into it.
>>78021006
It's a bit chilly, but the scenery's beautiful and there's more shops and things than I'd expected prior to moving up. I'm fairly excited for the warmer months so that we can actually get out and safely enjoy the area.
The sun rises at like nine in the morning and sets around four. The weird lengths of daylight have a way of making me feel a bit inexplicably melancholy from time to time I've noticed, but it's nothing major. The kids keep me fairly peppy, though I worry I'm short with them sometimes as a result,
>>78021051
I've been having a range of teas, some with honey and some without. Downing so much sometimes I just need to not have it be so sweet.
Ricolas have been the big thing to be honest. Throat feel terrible? Can't stop coughing. One of those and I get some time where I don't feel quite as bad.
>>78021100
Gray and rainy days always make me feel sluggish, but it sounds like you recognize it, so it's something you can consciously work on. Have you gotten the kids any /co/ related gifts?
>>78020952
>>78021006
I've been lucky as hell this fall/winter so far. Last few years I'd be on my second cold by now and having to take a few days off due to coughing, but since I started some vitamins I've had the luck of not getting one so far.
Family usually just gives me money. Or I find one item I do want, order it, and put that money towards it, The Walking Dead Season 5 collectors set for example. Actually, I haven't paid for one of those yet doing this.
>>78021033
After Cannon, I want to get more strip books. This seems like an interesting one to go along side it.
>>78021135
I used to love rainy days, especially when I lived in an apartment with a terrace. In the spring and summer, I would go out on the terrace barefoot, sit in a chair, prop up my feet on the railing and just chill. Take in the misty air, which always smelled so fresh. If it was too cold for that, it was a perfect time to watch movies or wrestling. Nowadays if it rains I might sit on the stairs into my building just to take in some of the atmosphere before I get too wet. Just not the same.
Dunno if I could handle that timeframe of light and dark like Zum is, though. As much as I sleep though it, knowing dawn is around 6:45 and dusk 4:45 is a somewhat comforting feeling.
The kids at work had me pissed today. I just had to bark on them too many times for my liking.
>>78021135
My daughter still loves playing with POP!s in the dollhouse m younger sister gave to her, so we got her a holiday baby Groot and a Rapunzel, since Tangled is her favorite Disney movie aside from Big Hero 6 (she still plays with the Baymax from last Christmas almost daily, POFG). We also got her the Shaun the Sheep movie for her birthday.
After picking up my Venkman POP!, I suggested she help me catch ghosts in her dollhouse with one of her POP!s. She chose her Baymax, so I jerry-rigged a makeshift proton pack for him out of a toy blood pressure cuff and rubber bands and used an old ring box as a trap. Since that day, she runs around the house claiming to spot ghosts that need catching in each room while making laser sounds with a water gun, then proudly announces "I got those ghostes!".
>>78021209
Haha, that's awesome and sounds extremely cute! Truth be told Tangled is one of my favorites too. I never got into the POP!s. The only one I want is the Yukon Cornelius onewe have similar tastes in beardsand maybe the Bumble, but they're dang expensive.
>>78021209
>she still plays with the Baymax from last Christmas almost daily, POFG
I was gonna ask. I'm glad she's enjoying it.
>>78021282
Should any of the other anons who gifted her last year be present, she still plays with the Shaun the Sheep plushies as well. In keeping with her ghostbusting, she's been using them as ghost sheep to catch.
>>78021315
Have you shown her Luigi's Mansion yet? Fun ghost catching times right there
>>78021315
I remember running around the house with my brother wearing these doing the same thing. Maybe you could see about finding one cheap so she can really bust some ghosts!
>>78021357
I'd love to find a copy, honestly. It was a game I always wanted to grab for GameCube, but kept passing it up and now no one seems to carry those sorts of games anymore for a reasonable price.
>>78021360
I see now. Ray and Egon utilized the power of the Tri-Force to capture spirits. I'd always wondered.
>>78021360
I wanted that shit so badly like you don't even know.
Looks like watching Star Wars Christmas special was enough to put my body into shut down so I'm off ill from work today. Let that be a lesson to not be curious about terrible Christmas specials.

>>78025264
I dunno, I guess it could be worse with ewoks or vader learning the spirit of christmas, oops sorry life day.
But with the rest of the star wars story line it's pretty bad, like the animated part, just wham there's a magical talisman that supposed to make you invisible, chewie has it but you can see him, he's just standing there holding it with his eyes closed when they first see him then he destroys it. That's it.... no more talisman.
>>78025325
>or vader learning the spirit of christmas
That'd be fucking amazing and you know it.
I was just expecting something more warped.
It was just sort of incredibly silly and misguided at times. If it wasn't tiedto Star Wars and was just about a family of Sasquatches...probably would be forgotten to time.
Animated part was the worst bit yeah
>>78025351
Did you get in late or something? The opening segment of nothing but ten uninterrupted minutes of wookie gurgles was agonizing to sit through.
>>78012311
Hey that's me! Maybe I can do better this year since I don't seem to be sick
>>78025474
No, I saw the entire thing.
I mean, it's silly to have the first chunk of it be all of this incomphrehensible babble...but it just sort of runs together.
I was expecting something awful, and it was silly, out of touch, and boring at times.
