Check out his tumblr or blogspot or whatever it is. His work process is the most scattershot thing imaginable. He'll do half of issue 8, and then decide he wants to work on the inks for a page in issue 10.

Also, I'm sure his Silver Surfer short from Secret Wars and his Godzilla issue paid him more than trade sales of Orc Stain did in 2015.

he did #8 and half of #9 a few months ago and said he wanted to finish #10 and will release them monthly followed by the trade

Yeah he said in an interview he pretty much just draws when he feels like it when it comes to his creator owned work. He doesn't have any sort of schedule and doesn't even see it as his job, just something he does.

I imagine it's different when he's doing something for Marvel or IDW
