What would an Avatar Expanded Universe be like?
Wha concepts and charcaters would you like it to expand upon?
Considering how the comics and Korra turned out to be
I want it to stay like it is.
At this point, the only thing interesting left in this franchise is porn

Cyberpunk just like Batman Beyond
Or dystopian
>>78002730
Firebending in Space.
also get new writers involved.
Well, just like the Star Wars EU, the farther back in time it goes from the shows the better.

i have some weird curiosity about the next avatar. I mean, how Bryke would portray Korra's legacy. Woud they just consider that "she didn't do nothing wrong" and everything is okay? or would they finally accept Korra fucked up really bad and have him deal with those issues.
>>78002787
>Cyberpunk
>Or Dystopian
>Or
Black Avatar?
Cold war 70s/80s era after Korra with Earthbender avatar.
Also make it a fucking adventure instead of 12 episodes of everyone dawdling about and moaning.
>>78003189
>Dystopian
Just like Hunger Games
>>78002786
well deareditor is doing a korra slave trainer game now so there's that
Considering how badly they fucked up the lore and killed all the avatars, not good, not good at all.

We wuz Avatar n shit
>>78002730
>>Wha concepts and charcaters would you like it to expand upon?
Jinora and Ikki repopulating the airbender race by copulating with as many men as possible.
>>78002730
The Avatar Universe is too shallow for that.
>inb4 so make it deeper, that's what an EU is for
No I mean its basic concepts, mythos, world, existing characters, design are all completely shallow and mostly uninteresting (because already done better somewhere else), if not outright done wrong ("balance is just asianspeak for good vs evil, right?"). It sort of worked for ATLA thanks to some good writers, but it wasn't conceived to go further than that.
It's not worth trying to make a puddle deep.
>>78003015
They didn't acknowledge that the UR was Aang's idea (from the comics) that fucked over Korra, so I don't see it happening.
>>78003216
>everyone dawdling about and moaning.
That was the crux of ATLA though.
Aang moaning, Katara moaning, Zuko moaning, occasionally Sokka moaning.

At least they went places and got things done.
>>78003559
So did the kids from Captain Planet but that doesn't make it a good show.
A series focusing on a war and disaster relief squad shortly following TLA, dealing with ethnic tension, remnants of Fire Nation secret projects, and their own PTSD.
>what concepts would you like it to expand? Korras boobs
>>78002730
I really wish we could have seen what the Fire Nation was like in Korra's time. No, that one temple island in Season 2 doesn't count.
Are they more industrialized than the rest of the world? Have they invented the television or airplane? Do their soldiers still have skull faces over their helmets or is it completely pussified, now?

>Have they invented the television or airplane?
There was an airplane used by EK bandits in early season 4. And never another airplane at any other point. God damnit Bryke are stupid sometimes.
>skull faces over their helmets

The First Avatar has real potential. That was a hot shit art style they went with in his episode.
I want to see an avatar as the villain
