Nostalgia.
That being said, I still love it. Christopher Daniel Barnes was a pretty good Spidey.

It sucked. Marvel has never had a good cartoon and even if they had, they get canned for no reason and end with stupid cliffhangers.

An episode of the same arc before there was Peter with actually good voice-acting and the VA sold Peter being corrupted by the symbiote and going off the rails perfectly.
