I feel like this could make a great kids show with some appeal to older audiences too. Nothing too epic like in the game, more like the everyday shenanigans spongebob would get into with patrick, squidward, and mr. krabs.
Jak & Daxter
Give me Kotor I and II. Make it good and make me think.
My niggas. Shit was 2cute4me and comfy as all get out. Anything with a gang of kids setting out on a grand adventure gets me in a good mood.
As long as we're bringing up Nintendo's forgotten gems.
A musical miniseries based around this game would be pretty boss.
>There will never be a cartoon/comic about Ace Combat
>Season 1 is the Belkan war up toThe Liberation of Ustio
>Season 2 ends with Avalon
>Season3 is the beginning of the Circum-Pacific war ending with The Razgriz Squadron being framed as traitors
>Season 4 ends with SOLG
I'd watch the fuck out of it.
I don't even like the games that much, but this totally should have been a show
It's basically a western sci-fi series already.
And it needs something to make up for the lackluster anime
Morrowind would make a great fantasy adventure cartoon.
>Are there any collections of the series
Not really. You can get 4,5 and zero for probably $20 a piece. Those are considered the Holy Trinity
just sayin...I mean with the new movie and all why not a cartoon series?
I would love a cartoon of this, or even better a comic book series.
Y'all my niggas. I'd love for any adaptation of Golden Sun.
I'd love it even more if it rendered Dark Dawn non canon
I was thinking a Kingdom Hearts anime/cartoon collaboration, but it would be fuck-expensive to make, if not possibly the most expensive animation ever made. I mean:
-Fusing distinct animation of anime and various western art styles. Even harder if stuff like Nightmare Before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Tron are used.
-Fuck-huge story to cover.
-Getting the respective character's VAs.
At least with a manga it just involves drawing and copying styles.
Animal Crossing - Has Sonic Boom look
Dragon's Crown - Japan Only
Cooking Mama - Disney Movie
Lollipop Chainsaw - Japan Only
No More Heroes - Japan Only
Kirby - Epic Yarn Look
Last one as Dawn of Ruin
it was a great game, toobut right now IS it only doing Fire Emblem, although they said they wouldn't mind doing another Advance Wars.
I assume they reason they haven't is because Shiggy showed up and told them no
I don't even think he has control over that.
this game is terrific i love it's style
It has kind of a large cast when it comes to party members, so it'd be kind of hard to design who would be the main members of Brad's crew in the show.
It'd be cool if ALL the party members showed up in the finale where
they betray youand Brad kills them all single handed in a Superjail style massacre.
If they made the episodes short and focused on characters like samurai jack, I'd watch it gladly.
Stop making me want these things.
Also stop reminding me that they haven't produced a good game since Joint Assault. I have hopes for Ace Combat 7 but I fear that they'll fuck it up again.
Yeah, also at least the gameplay in Infinity was back to normal.
The missile spam and trailer looked kinda shite though.
>Belka manages to conquer the majority of Osea with the help of Erusia
>The remaining osean forces, along with Yuktobonia and several other allied states launch one final counter-attack in the hopes to push back the Belkan blitz
>Several aces from the previous games return
>You play as Pixy for the mission
>just as all hope seems lost a mysterious but familiar voice comes in on the radio
><< Yeah buddy, I'm still alive. >>
>Space Channel 5
I don't know if I want it to be Kim Possible-style, with a stronk independent woman and loads of clever gags, or Cutie Honey/Totally Spies-style, where it's just a vehicle for thinly-veiled dirty jokes.
This also reminds me of the idea I had (which will never come to fruition) of doing a SC5 flashmob at an anime convention. Like, just get a boombox and a bunch of people together and re-enact the first level.
I will give Assault Horizon that it had probably one of the best edited trailers ever.
>That theme song drop
Almost joined up right then and there.
Budget would have to be ridiculously high to meticulously animate all those jiggling tits.
On an extremely tangential note, I noticed some drawings my boss' granddaughter had made that she'd put on her desk earlier today. I knew her granddaughter was young (6), so I'm pretty sure I reached peak ambivalence when I realized that it was all FNAF fanart.
>Zelda: Majora's mask and ocarina of time
>Banjo and kazooie
>Secret of Mana
>Secret of monkey island
>Ori and the blind forest
>Mario and Megaman done right
Probably more, but these are all I can think of that could make the transition, if the bare bones of the plot and characters were worked upon. Also not counting games such as amnesia, metroid, the last of us, they would probably fall under movie category.
Could just use his fairies to do a chunk of communication, I imagine he would be mostly silent unless directly spoken to anyway.
>Journey in Samurai Jack style.
The japanese version of AC3 had branching paths and the most ambitious storyline of the series, when it was brought over to the west they just thought fuck that noise to translating all that text and they cut 2/3 of the game.
>start to worry that it's dead
You're a more optimistic man than I anon.
No, but he was a trophy in Brawl, isn't that enough? That's all we wanted, right?
Besides he'd just end up as another swordsman character.
Self-delusion is a hell of a coping mechanism.
Terry and Nern could be his main guys and then every episode or two one of the other party members will show up for a one-off team thing. They might hang around for a couple of episodes before getting killed or splitting. A couple would continue to follow Brad at a distance, appear to help him at times.
The climax would have the bunch of them show up to reveal their treachery, that they followed Brad to get to Buddy. All those times they superheroed in were just to help clear the path to the girl. Superjail-esque murder ensues
That's not best girl.
Darkstalkers has the perfect art style for it, being heavily inspired by Disney and Warner Bros.-style traditional animation. Problem is there isn't much plot to work with.
Yes, I know it did actually have a cartoon, but it was so incompetent that we might as well forget it.
Wario Land or WarioWare? Or Wario World? Or Master of Disguise?
Unless you want all of them. I would.
>Protagonist who's morally ambiguous but not edgy and unsubtle but not annoying
>Variety of goofy adventure buddies who tag along sometimes
>Over-the-top rival thieves
>Quests in exotic jungles, creepy ruins, sports stadiums, and high seas
>Ancient evils and tense escape sequences
>Episodes about protecting Wario's treasure hoard
>Fighting qt pirates and saving qt princesses, but ignoring all of them to grab cash
>Sometimes ends in victory like good endings of Wario Land, other times he loses all his profits like in WarioWare.
>Padded with borderline-nonsensical shorts in a rapid-pace manner
It could be like DuckTales for a new generation.
The Zelda cartoon wasn't THAT bad.
Link being a jackass and Zelda a nagging bitch fit those two pretty well. I'd love it if we saw those two personalities again.
Ganon was just plain dumb
Will we ever see Kain actually owning up to being the Scion of Balance?
I can already see this as a mythical Indian cartoon.
A shameless 80s cartoon with PSAs.
It would be like a cross between Cheap Thrills and Bojack horseman.
I want this to happen! Think of it as Legends of Chima, without the lego aspect.
The Life and Misadventure of Saint Jiub: the Eradicator of the Winged Menace!
It follow the life of Jiub from the start of Morrowind to the end of his life at the fall of kvatch, with everything in between. It could have potential.
Advance wars actually has a pretty good storyline for a cartoon plot, not overly serious fairly straightforward but with a few twists.
Would really have to find a way to reconcile the cartoonish bits with the whole soldiers fighting and dying stuff though, since it'd be impossible to gloss over in a show like they do in the games.
I'm actually kind of surprised that there isn't a cartoon of this, yet.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
I need a fucking copy of this right now. The dedication to the ridiculous fucking character designs while still apparently playing this straight as shit is amazing!
I doubt anyone else played this shit.
Best games Kojima ever made. Fuckin tragedy what happened to them.
>parody of Mad Max, Fist of the North Star, all things dieselpunk and martial arts movies
>has Megas XLR levels of OTT action
>every episode ends with Gene doing finishing attacks that get more retarded as the series progresses
Fuck, I never realised just how badly I want this.
>Baratus the jovial smash-happy oaf
>Parias the deadpan rational straight man
>Daedolon the scheming rat-faced bastard
>sometimes Corvus shows up as the hypercompetent deuteragonist and makes the bickering heroes look like chumps
>the Serpent Riders are basically Cobra Commander, Skeletor and Beast Wars Megatron in that order
Fuck you, I'd watch it.
>Wild West feel
>episodic adventures to find the Vault
I just want something to make up for the travesty that was the MMZ manga
That's not dark for that game.
>Floral virus infecting people, with flowers leaves and vines sprouting from the body
>THE BEAST ruthlessly killing civilians
>Calder and Greyfield scourging every troop on the battlefield to death with a solar heat ray
>Penny (the little girl) being mind-controlled into enjoying military slaughter through her stuffed bear
>Calder playing with the lives of his children with absolutely no regard
The different alien races are practically cartoon characters.
I was more or less disappointed that you couldn't play the brother, the Beast or Waylon.
Picture related I wouldn't mind seeing into a cartoon. Not the shorts but an actual cartoon or anime.
I think Wario would be good as a sideshow to a larger Mario cartoon, using the modern 2D drawings as the main aesthetic (that, or M&L-style).
The best part is that Charles can speak in both Japanese and English!
>adventures of le meme skeletons in a story where Mario and Luigi meets Samurai Jack
Fund it hombre.
>expiration date was originally going to be the second episode of a planned series between AS and Valve but AS demands were too time restricting so Valve pulled out and made it a cinematic three years later
What could have been. Then we almost got this shit
>some meme studio was going to make their own tf2 series about a group of kids being sucked into a game and having to rescue their friend by teaming up with the NORMIES
At least we have source filmmaker vids on YouTube to live off
I loved Calder as an antagonist he was completely irredeemable, and had a kind of charisma that neither Sturm or Von Bolt could really bring to the table.
plus the twist about the "Calder" in the game most likely actually being the sole surviving clone he made after they all killed each other was pretty neat.
>Space Battleship Yamato meets One Piece with a dash of Nadia: Secret of Blue Water thrown in.
If this game sold well maybe.
I'd honestly like to just like to see it's top notch voice cast reprise their roles.
>Adam Baldwin as Henry Flemming
>Fred Tatasciore as the Cowardly Lion
>Jeremy Shada as Tom Sawyer
>Paul Eiding as the Scarecrow
>James Urbaniak as Dr. Randolph Carter
>Grey DeLisle as Rule 63 Zorro
I can't help but think the reason that never took off was because the promotional material really looked like some shovelware developed by a third rate studio trying to cash in on the steampunk craze several years too late.
Mega Man Legends is fucking perfect for a cutesy tv action show.
I think Fables would do better as a cartoon than any live-action adaptation.
We got a dance-animu last season and we have a dance animu this season.
>tfw one of them shows up in a Hellcat
>proceeds to fuck everyone up
