People don't even really regard the Avengers as a "team" more than just an organization of people. Even going way way back, more people probably recognize the Legion of Doom's headquarters than they would the Avengers Tower (without the giant A in the movies).

when people think of the Justice League, they think of the cartoon. Its Bats, Supes, WW, Martian Manhunter, Flash, maybe Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, etc.

when people think of the Avengers, they think of the movies. But out of the people in the movies, there are only like 3 or 4 people would consider iconic enough to piece together as a team. The main avengers team is fluid and always changing. Is Vision a mainstay? What about the mutants? It's just an organization to link heroes together in the comics.

As a meeting room and chilling lounge, nothing beats the satellite. But in terms of earth--based retreats, Hall of Justice falls behind Avengers Mansion just because of how home-y the mansion is.

I've never heard of Avengers Mansion, but it makes them sound like they think they're better than everyone else with their exclusive team mansion. Just like the Hall of Justice makes the Justice League look like a Government branch. So it would boil down to The Watch Tower and Avengers Tower. Obviously the watch tower wins

Yet the Watchtower makes the JLA seem like gods that has removed themselves from humanity. The Hall of Justice and the Avengers mansion made the heroes more accessible and more human. Plus it allows people who don't like them a place to picket and protest.

The watchtower left a deeper impression on me because of that whole arc in the JLU cartoon questioning its existence.

Personally I find the JL satellite/moonbase and the Avengers mansion/tower to be ideally suited for each org, they really can't be "better" than each other.

I like the JL as greek gods analogy and their being above us fits. The Avengers chilling at Stark's place fits their own vibe.
