They have a doujin market over there but it's not really protected and that's the reason all doujins are limited run only and never get reprinted. If you're not japanese, Pixiv is a pain. If you're not a furry artist, you don't go on Furaffinity. If you're not 100% porn, you don't use Hentai-foundry. If you only post to Gelbooru, there's no real way for people to message you for comissions or anything like that.

Tumblr is the best art site we have right now. It can do fucking anything and you can make your website look like whatever you want. It's super easy to follow artists who like on it and you can reblog and like their stuff with the click of a button meaning it can spread around very easily.

The ONLY downsides it has is if you turn a corner you can run into the SJW hive and reblogging doesn't mean people have to link back to who made the thing. Also it's impossible to delete something if it was reblogged meaning drama can burn forever with new people being added to some old shit that doesn't matter anymore.

Deviantart is a joke compared to it. Someone needs to just make a website that is exactly the same as tumblr in every way and then actually moderate it and make sure the crazies don't set up there.

Going by all the rumors, Mosha just seems like a loner artist that just likes to draw and upload on his own. He never had anyone close enough to him to confirm his death online, so no one knows or ever knew he probably died.
