Thoughts on the superman battle suit? You can't say it won't appear in the film because every suit from this line is appearing,
I think it's the suit superman will use in the battle of doomsday.
It's the same suit his father wore when he was killed by zod, so it might be the same armor superman when he's killed by the new zod maybe
I sure can't wait to see three years of DCfriends funposting about whether the huge gay axe Superman uses is part of the learning to be a superhero thing or totally out of character.
It would be very poetic of him beating or being killed in the same armor his father was killed in
first one in a long time. girl figures "don't sell" (read: they don't make one. if they do, they make it one figure per crate so of course it won't sell. also she's usually ugly, way off-model, and/or comes with a bunch of jetpacks and guns to make up for the leftover plastic)
>Not MCU girls
Besides Maria and a Natasha for nearly every film she's appeared in.
Surprised they haven't made a toy out of this to be honest.
>I like these
9 point articulation on a 3.75 inch. SW and Marvel figures are going down in quality and it appears as though the DC stuff is going UP!
As an aside the recent Batman Arkham stuff was awesome.
>first one in a long time
>this is a talking point by gawker that is completely made up
Every woman in the marvel movies that had action scenes had a toy made of her.
Black widow, Scarlet Witch, Gamora, sif
The only exception to that was Gamora Sister not getting a toy ( ronan didnt either ) but then again she got a lego toy together with Ronan.
Their weapons were made especifically to kill him.
>tfw that figure is the best looking of the four
>tfw the colour of the suit is great
what in the name of baby moses is this? jesus fucking christ, the colour palette is astonishing
>uh, he raped a child in an unprinted Elseworlds by Millar and Miller, holding down Carrie Kelley and superdicking her in Man of Steel 2 was completely in-character I think you'll find
Why do we still make threads about the weird shit they sell with toys?
Official toys nowadays look a lot more like the chinese bootleg stuff I used to buy as a kid.
What's up with that.
The other suits from the line are literally just their normal costumes.
This is something they had to make-up for the toyline because kids have already bought the Man of Steel toys and the costume in that is basically the same as that in BvS.
He's not gonna come out in battle armour swinging a Kryptonian axe at Doomsday.
>Not MCU girls
Am I crazy? I know it was a big thing that Black Widow and Gamora were left out on merch and shit, but whenever I went to Wal-Mart or something I saw figures of them.
Admit it though, seeing Superman in a version of this painted blue and red with a cape would be sick as fuck. Especially if he's alongside Batman in that suit of power armor.
If it happens(it wont) then i'd say it would be a suit Bruce Wayne makes him to help fight Doomsday. it'd be similar to Bats' suit, but made specially for Superman. That would also show that trust has been established between the two, if batman is purposefully helping him become more powerful
It is weird with Gamora since she is always the only one in the ensemble to be left out, for obvious reasons. But in Avengers merch Hawkeye is also usually left out as well and only Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Cap make it, because they are the superheroes kids like.
I had this toy. The jetpack launched a fiery missile that always made me chuckle because it looked like he was shooting cheetoes at people.
They had this shit for the last movie too.
I got this grbage for a dollar for how bad it is. Also spare some poor kid from playing with an awful Superman toy.
Oh relax, Widow got a basic figure in the line.
As part of a two-pack with Cap.
Oh, it's real alright. I know because I have the normal color variant of that Flip 'n' Trap Spidey. They also made one in Negative Zone colors for some reason.
I swear if Batman doesn't grab Superman with his big robo claw, this will be a totally waste of a movie
Wouldn't be the first time a toyline spoiled the ending of a movie.
>Bane didn't have a backpack with miniguns in TDKR
waste of potential
he could've crashed at least ten times the planes
>Superman in a suit of armour
Is Jon Peters somehow still involved in this? I noticed Man of Steel seemed to conform to a lot of his Superman Lives demands, notably polar bears and a giant spider (world engine).
I've also noticed Hollywood hates wasting material from old screenplays no matter how shit it is so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this is the Eradicator/K/whatever from Superman Lives, just like how Terminator Genisys recycled tons of ideas from scrapped drafts for Terminator 3 and Terminator 4.
>Hollywood hates wasting material
If you've already paid a couple of million to artists, directors, and even actors who were then not used but had to be kept free to make your movie if it got funded, it's bad practice to start over completely. Nobody's seen the bulk of your dev work anyway, so you might as well salvage whatever you can; and of course, even if you do start over any creative team worth the time is going to learn everything they can about not only what has worked, but what was projected to work, what scripts made it closest to getting made, that kind of thing. So it's always going to echo back on itself.
i remember owning pic related
so much articulation
It's not really worth the cost of producing a heavily articulated 3 inch doll because nobody would buy them at the price point they'd have to go to.
For larger toys or hotter toys, sure. But not for everything and not for the ass-end of an IP with Jimmy Olsen's dog's wife's owner: now with 51 points of articulation and real "I'll take out the garbage tomorrow" action.
