Not sure when it happened, but someone story timed Nemesis AKA the comic that had the womb triggered to collapse if an abortion was attempted.

Nemesis is magical. It's one of those comics that everybody just has to read just because of how god awful it really is. It's the kind of media where you're asking questions (mostly what? and Why?) every page if not every panel.

I also enjoyed the injustice gods among us threads while that comic was still "good" for lack of a better term.

>that unsympathetic, grimdark, middle finger of an ending to the series
It was bittersweet.
The sweet part was George and Harold eventually becoming Ashirogi Muto.
The bitter part was Captain Underpants no longer existing, regular GnH learning that their parents preferred them docile and compliant (after all the talk of encouraging their creativity) and fucking off to parts unknown in their time machine, replaced by two-days-earlier GnH who were none the wiser, and the general revelation that their universe was, cosmically speaking, the evil twin.
And those last few pages, man.

What do you guys mean?
Everything from SB was storytimed, it's just that the series is still ongoing(S&R #10 is out this week).

Probably Usagi storytimes.
Endtown gained a lot of traction at the end of last year, so I don't think it counts.

Storytime of pain was something else.

Oh, right. I think that the timeline was finished but some of the issues had recommended songs missing. I'll storytime the newest issue tomorrow, if someone else doesn't do it before me, and put the infographic there.

>It's not abysmal
No, but characters acting like fucking retards all the time are enough to drive you up the wall.
The only character with a little sense with him was the hillbilly father with a retard son. And the bear.

Mine's probably a tie between Alex & Jack and Slender. Just for the most stupid dialogue you will ever hear.
>>
My favorite was Beasts of Burden.

I wouldn't call it the best storytime, but it was my favorite new comic I read this year.

Also, if anyone recalls, I was the retard who storytimed most of Jhonen Vasquez's work in celebration of the new Zim comic early this passing summer. First time I dedicated that much time to a storytime, but I had a lot of fun.

>VHS tape

This shouldn't bother me as much as it does
>>

Wasn't there also Usagi Yojimbo and Tintin getting storytimed? Not to mention the usual Judge Dredd, Valiant (not the superhero one), etc.

There was this great storytime of Jack last year, tons of discussion and everybody bonded over it. I remember it started with someone mentioning the body tank or whatever and then more just kept coming, and I couldn't stop reading. It really is kind of sickeningly addictive.

The Bone series was a hell of a good time

Huh. No one mentioned any of the storytimes I did this year.

Feels Badmane.

I haven't read the thread so feel free to kill me but I am very much grateful for the Les Nombrils/The Bellybuttons storytime that happened a few months ago. I didn't know about it beforehand, now I am a suffering fan like the rest of them.
>>
>No mention of my Question, Red Robin or Damian storytimes

Oh I see.

I could FEEL everyone else reacting to that last issue. tfw a Godzilla comic does what Morrison has been trying to do for decades.
>>
that guy doing all the post-ROTJ Star Wars stuff right now is pretty cool

Because of Captain Underpants being accidentally wiped from history the world is becomes a giant wasteland (pilkey devotes wordless pages to this) and a robot crushes the only survivor into a huge splatter of blood
>>
>>78029803
there's no way that actually happens in a kids book. also nice grammar
>>
>>78029953
It's true. The archive is gone so I can't get the pictures but that's exactly what happens in the book. He didn't actually die but that's not until the next book, in this one we assume he got crushed into gore

>>78029803
That wasn't even the last book though.
>>78029953
It really happened it was actually a giant ketchup packet, which is actually a call back from like 5 books ago
