Daily reminder Gravity Falls is the best cartoon of this year.
Please save the following reply, it will only become more and more useful as we reach the end of the year:
>Are you fucking dumb? The show stopped being good halfway through [insert random point in the show]. I mean, if you think [episode after aforementioned point] is any good, you may be retarded by the amounts of [sex lubricant originated by the organ pertaining to the show's showrunnner] you must have been guzzling down from [show's showrunner].

>every thing this year was shit
>everything this decade was shit
>every thing this century is shit
>everything in this universe is shit
You guys will say everything is shit, when it isn't. Sure Gravity Falls and Rick and Morty's second seasons were a tad weaker than the last, but they were in no way shit. If anything they are pretty Damn close in quality to their first seasons. Star, Bears, Steven, Bojack, AT, Royals, Uncle Grandpa, and everything else was pretty good. Good year of episodes. Just because something isn't amazing doesn't mean it's shit. I hope next year this board will lighten up.
I used to love this show, but after A Tale of Two Stans it was just... I don't know, it was nothing like Gravity Falls I used to love. This is also the time where double standards with treatment of Dipper and Mabel became unbearable to me.
I still find the differences between the way Dipper and Mabel were treated to be very funny.
Especially when we finally get an episode addressed to Mabel being a bad person, to where she admits that she only does good things for herself. And then she beats up a unicorn and steals their hair and gets called a good person.
It's still hard for me not to laugh at this pamphlet.
I don't understand why this isn't a bigger ship.
You were only watching the show for the MYSTERY and were disappointed with the way things ACTUALLY played out compared to how you imagined them, the?
Why does /co/ turn on shows after they end?
Unless they are prematurely cancelled of course.
I get the feeling that if the show did run for an additional season and NWHS were the season 2 finale, they would've had far more time to devote with the aftermath of the portal and developing Stanford's character more.
>Everyone is arguing about GF, RnM, Star, etc
>Nobody mentions WOY
What did I expect?
>You were only watching the show for the MYSTERY
I actually didn't care about MYSTERY. I was expecting it to be sub-par and boy did it deliver.
What I was not prepared to is the show itself being swallowed by this sub-par MYSTERY.
>Just because something isn't amazing doesn't mean it's shit.
Holy fuck is this ever true.
The way /co/ acts in response to anything just being "good" or "okay" gets ridiculous at times.
Definitely not trying to say that people who don't like something are faking it or whatever the fuck, but that cartoons today aren't as universally shit as you'd think from reading a thread here
I like the show, but no. He really isn't that interesting and the short time we get to spend with him just makes everything about him feel rushed. I wish we got a full third season instead of this merged season 2, maybe that woulda fleshed him out better. As he stands now he's just a "can do no wrong better than everyone" character who comes off as a jerk.
>Keep season one exactly the same
>Make season 2 only 11 episodes and keep it about the same, place big hiatus afterwards to hype people for season 3.
>Season 3A contains the beginnings of Ford, and gets all of the family drama out of the way BEFORE the Weirdmageddon arc.
>Season 3B is constant lore, action, thrills, Bill Cipher reveals, ayys, you know, apocalypse stuff. Gives the show a lot of breathing room and time for character development and epic reveals.
>close to the quality of season 1
>being good at all
Surely you must be joking.
I think we get that you hate season 2 at this point, no need to state it everywhere.
>implying UG is bad
>implying SU is good
>implying Say Uncle wasn't the best episode of Steven Universe
>south park has been handling continuity better than gravity falls 2b
Wow, you're not even going to defend Uncle Grampa?
Oh don't get me wrong, Say Uncle was amazing. But the rest of SU still doesn't hold up compared to season 1, and Uncle Grampa is still trash. Hell, I even gave a shot solely because of that episode, that's how I ended up hating it. Before I was pretty apathetic about its existence.
Pickle and Peanut fan here.
Welcome to my world.
>South Park has been handling suspense, lore and mystery better than Gravity Falls
What the fuck happened?
Haven't read the thread yet, but
>Gravity falls da bes
>Filtered by "steven"
Bojack followed by Rick n Morty have been the best for me this year but Gumball really deserves an honorable mention.
come on, that ship is boring and uninteresting, unlike pic related
Mah nigga, Dipcifica for life.
But anons, Padippica is also boring and predictable.
There are only two characters in the show who actually have chemistry together
No, people like Pinecest because Dipper and Mabel actually have a modicum of chemistry between their characters.
Candy is boring, male fans want to fuck Pacifica so they want Dipper and Pacifica to fuck, female fans want Bill and Dipper to fuck, everybody wants Mabel and Dipper to fuck because muh incest. That leaves maybe three people to ship Candip.
nah man, you just can't differentiate between cute and innocent sibling relationship with your filthy desire of incest relationship.
go back to your filthy general if you want jerking off with your sick incest fantasy
I don't think he is joking also you're wrong.
