That's the point I was trying to make. Most people enjoy Jackie Chan's Chinese movies more than his kind of dry 'Murrican ones.
Fights in those play out a lot like Monty's in the first and second season. They are very stylish/cool, you can see the whole thing in addition to the technique, and it integrates humor well when needed.
The Monty fights are what I miss most this season. The 4v4 fights ending in one full-team knockout in both episode 1 and 2 were kind of disappointing when I think back to S2's 4v4 food fight.

Weiss can clearly do well, as evidenced by past fights and the fact that she's the top of her class when it comes to school, but like Jaune she has a severe lack of practical experience and isn't completely in touch with her semblance yet.
I think she's doing pretty well for someone with a weapon that doesn't have all the transformable/half gun bits the others have, but she still has a ways to go.

I'd say put more resources to ditching poser altogether. RVB got a major boost in fight quality when they started integrating Maya animations and 3D modeling for the fights, gave them a lot more flexibility with scenes. They have more folks up-to-date on maya then they do on Poser, it'd make sense to have all of them using the same tools to maximize efficiency.

I can't see Pyrrha being evil. I mean, yeah, it would destroy the ship Pyrrha/Jaune, explain why Pyrrha is suddenly interested in a nobody who faked his grades, and give some depth for both characters, which I'm all for, but it doesn't make sense.

The soundtrack is confirmed by RT that certain of the songs represents the inner desires/thoughts. Dream Come True is pretty much about how irritated Pyrrha is over the fact that Jaune isn't interested in her.

Other scenes in RWBY show that, even with no one around, that Pyrrha is expressing how she truly feels, especially concerning how disappointed she is towards Jaune. It would mean that Pyrrha was faking her concern for Jaune even there's point of putting up the act when no one is around to see her reaction.

Yes, but there are certain scenes where it wouldn't make sense for Pyrrha to act realistically to a situation, even if she doesn't genuinely feel it, unless there was some truth to it.

Take for example the scene where Jaune tells Pyrrha that he was rejected. There are at the top of the roof, at night, with no one around, with just the two of them, with no cameras on sight.

Pyrrha tries to suppress her disappointment that Jaune is still trying to ask Weiss out, even though acting helpful would suffice. For a moment she looks sad, but quickly suppresses it, changing it into a fake smile, then it changes back to her default sad expression the second Jaune turns his back.

Even if this scene was recorded on camera or someone was watching them, they can't read minds or could possibly be aware that Pyrrha is acting like she holds romantic feelings for Jaune. So, Pyrrha is acting like she has feelings for Jaune while acting like she's supportive of him when he's around, then defaulting back to acting like she's still interested in him?

All on the off-chance that someone might be watching her, suspecting she has feelings for Jaune, and would find it unusual to report to someone that she wasn't behaving like they anticipated she would?

Like she included some real elements into her "act" that is truly about herself to make it more natural? However, that just blurred the distinction between what's an act and what she's really experiencing. It's like in those stories about how if you fake something long enough, part of it becomes genuine.

I thought that there was an actual sense of danger when the 2v2 fight happened, I was thinking that Yang would let Neon get to her head with words and Weiss would have a close fight with Flynt. Animation was pretty shit though, like when Neon tripped and rolled down the hill.

The end of the fight seemed fitting, they're both still hunters at the end of the day, fighting in a tournament.
