Season 6 was top tier.

Plus the Kenny possessing Cartman things is a neat example of continuity in early South Park.
There's actually a lot more continuity moments in the show than people give credit.
>>77972446
Actually, that entire season. Fuck I just realized that.

From Kenny Dies to the end of Season 6 was a great example of continuity, plus in season 4 Cartman keeps coming up with money schemes, such as the tooth fairy gig and becoming a church which he eventually reveals he did just to get a million dollars and then the next season he finally gets that money in Cartmanland.
On a related note, how's the current season of South Park?
>>77972527
It's great, probably the best as a whole in the last 4-5 seasons.
>>77972527
really great so far
>>77972527
>used to relay messages during war.
well done.
>>77971157
I just got into South Park and kept hearing how the Scott Tenorman episode was the ultimate example of Cartman's evil. Then I watched it.
Holy shit, Scott Tenorman is an evil fuck. Cartman is sympathetic in comparison.
>>77973025
He fed him his own parents and lapped up his tears.
>>77973025
No he isn't, Tennorman played just one trick on Cartman. All the shit that followed was entirely Cartman's fault because he couldn't accept being outsmarted. Every time he tried to fool Tennorman he was outsmarted again, it all escalated like that because Cartman is a sore loser
Seasons 5 and 8 are both really great.
I find 5-8 solid gold overall but if I have to pick I guess it's 6.
Season 3-6 are my favorite.

Thanks m8s, watching it now and it's pretty damn fun
>>77972527
That is the greatest Webm i've seen today.

Scott Tenorman cheated a kid for no goddamn reason, was totally shameless and unapologetic, and even though the kid was being incredibly nice by just asking for his money back (no justice, no punishment), Tenorman humiliated and endangered him over and over for the crime of not lying down and taking it. While chuckling like a sociopath.
He is pure evil.
>>77973672
P-pedro, you're thinking with tour dick.
>>77973025
>steal 16$
>evil fuck
>get 2 people killed, chop them to bits, ground them, and serve them as chili to their son
>sympathetic
>>77975549
>wanting your stolen money back
>evil fuck
>torturing your victim until he snaps
>sympathetic

What is it about season 9 onward that stops it from being "Classic" South Park?
>>77976359
Honestly season 8 is more similar to season 9 than it is to 7
>>77976359
Chef
Season 5
>>77976359
It becomes shit. South park barely exists and just becomes any other town in America. There is no south park anymore, just Colorado.
>>77976581
We'll never be laid down by that fire again.
>>77977414
Get out Stan.
Classic = 1-3
Transitional = 4-6
Modern = 7-17
Renaissance = SoT-present
This has nothing to do with quality, btw, just style of writing.
>>77977526
Actually I think season 4 belongs more with the first 3 and season 7 belongs more with 5 and 6, i.e.:
first era: seasons 1-4
second era: seasons 5-7
Season 5 was when they started using orchestral stock music instead of the folk American banjo/guitar music and it's also when they started focusing on single plots instead of having multiple plot lines going at once

Does anyone have a gif or webm of this scene, where Tweek sees the sign below him and tries to shuffle away from it?
>>77973672
That does not equal murder, are you fucking dense.
Anime when?
>>77979085
stan and wendy would be super cute starring in an anime
>>77979113
wendy is never cute
>>77979209

>>77979113
I'd rather it focus on the boys still.
Speaking of Tweek, I wonder if his cure of twitching will stick.
>>77979420
As long as he's with Craig.
>>77980442
Like how being with Kyle is Stan's cure for alcoholism and self-loathing
>>77979085
never please
fucking weebs
>>77980442
Shame they will break up in the finale. That or their relationship will become stronger
>>77979085
seconding
>>77973672
Tenor Man din du nuffin
>>77980589
Because they're just so perfect together. I want to see them be brought closer together since that fight last episode.
>>77981448
My hope is that Leslie taking Kyle will result in a Stan saves Kyle episode
I miss the episodes where Stan was willing to con Cartman out of his kidney for Kyle's sake
>>77982502
I think i understand what they meant by Stan being the one most likely to be gay based solely on how in touch with his feelings he is. Stan is always the one willing to go above and beyond for Kyle, life or death it doesnt matter to him. Maybe one day Kyle can come to care for him the same way.
>wrapping everything up in one episode
Brace for disappointment.
>>77982845
Guarenteed cliffhanger for next season or underwhelming finale.
That or the episode is somehow 40-50 minutes.
>>77982845
I'm worried about this too. This season has been so good, they'd better pull it off, but the time limit doesn't look good. Cliffhanger and continuation might be better storywise, but having to wait a year would blow. Hope for brilliant writing or a surprise double-length episode.
>>77982845
I've been saying this since the last episode. They've been hyping it up so much i wouldnt be surprised if they just drop it all together and give us something unrelated or self-mockingly rushed. Surely they cant be aware of how much they're trying to make this all sound like a big deal.
>>77983096
>>77983302
What if the cliffhanger is as painful as you're getting old? Then again that might be me hoping too much for something actually emotional happening between the characters
>>77978865
>using later events to justify earlier actions
Nope, not unless Tenorman is psychic. It could have been Butters asking for his money back.
