Anka drew her and she apparently has the whole tit slimming affect with spandex.
I'd still fuck her.
But thick White girls are the best.
Doesn't that one DC artist draw her in a comic now? Carol I mean. He actually made Anka's shit design look decent.
It's weird because I used to be a big fan of Anka's but now he just uses the same gimmicks on all his costume designs. Fucks the hair up and gives them some shit streamlined movie-tier suit with lines all over it. He also tried to directly rip off Batgirl for Spiderwoman's costume. Getting kind of sick of his shit.
This meme that white girls don't have curves existe only on EUA.
Here in the south of Brasil, that. is full of italian, germanic and east europeans imigrants, every girl seems to have beutiful europeans features, and big boobs, asses and thighs.
This meme is kind of stupid.
The only difference between a cute Pixie cut and a dyke cut is the girl wearing it.
Considering that Gwenpool is looking to be Marvel's Harley (who is already DC's Deadpool), if they're going to hook her up with anybody, it would have to be whoever Marvel's Ivy is.
Or they could go the extra mile and hook her up with Spider-Gwen.
Nah, people from the south are white here, it was basically a bunch of refuge camps for europeans. The lack of chrves on girl of your country must be something on your water, or you are a bunch of fags.
Why didn't they rename her Major Marvel?
It lets the (older?) DC character use the name on covers, it's a promotion, and it's alliterative. It might even be her actual rank now, I'm not sure.
What, you're gonna tell me she's important enough to have brand recognition? Get real.
There doesn't seem to be a downside for anyone apart from "we won a lawsuit so fuck you, we're taking this to the grave because we can".
>White girls born in South America aren't white.
That's kind of how Superhero clothes are usually drawn though. There are a few exceptions like Alex Ross (pic related) but they usually just draw the hero nude with coloring and no genitals
Ah, okay thanks
Part of an effort to sample different body types in their comics. They made Carol more realistically fit and dressed in more than a swimsuit to emphasize her as a hero first, woman second.
Much like X-23 now looks much more like Logan in stature. Stockier, shorter and less fragile.
They also seem to try to make the costumes more an expression of what the character would be interested in wearing rather than what the artist finds sexy. Outrageous designs seem to get relegated more to gods and aliens, not so much humans.
I mean, i miss her slutty costume, but this one is pretty cool
The only shitty thing, that i literally can't understand is why they made her hair so short, she had big hair because she hated that on the army she had to use short hair
nah, she made full-bird
bonus dexter soy butt
She looks like a bloke lol. What the fuck??
Simply put: Big Breasts, Big Asses and Wide Hips (As well as Slim Waists) are highly sexist and fetishized by the matriarchal editors and artists currently working in comic books today.
The ideal figure of a Strong, Independent Woman who don't need no man is one that features none of those ghastly things and has an almost ethereal, gender-neutral quality. OP's pic is a good start IMO.
>What happened to her figure?
Carol's powers allow her to travel in space and protect her from most of the harm of the various energies she's exposed to...
However, they have been reacting with those energies in a previously unforeseen way, and her body is slowly developing male sexual characteristics.
While safely concealed by her suit, Carol has already grown a fully functional set of male genitalia, which she used to father Jessica Drew's child during a short stay on Earth.
>stop liking what I don't like and stop disliking what i like
Life must be so hard on you.
Except I didn't say you couldn't like what you like or had to like what I like.
You're bad at this, and it's funny.
I never said that either. But if that makes you mad, okay, more power to you I guess. I figured that by now, people would have learned the only lesson this place could ever teach you and that is: not caring what other people think.
>But if that makes you mad
I'm afraid you are projecting, Anon.
You guys are so obsessed with Tumblr it's messing with your head. I mean look at you, you see an attractive, athletic female figure and you freak out 'cause it doesn't look like Japanese hentai.
But what if they just like the way it was before?
Granted it's stupid because that implies they don't get comics, Anka isn't drawing his tiny breasted assed hipped women in every comic.
We had this discussion the other week in a Namor thread: absurd but totally straightfaced pulp comics where aliens from the third moon of jupiter come down to earth to sell weapons to terrorists, need to make a comeback.
I've been wanting to reread/storytime Reed's run for a while now. I should get around to it one week, it's only 50 issues.
I'll probably lose interest after the first one
At least it will be easy to tell Karla and Carol apart when Moonstone returns one glorious day.
Captain Marvel Danvers was doomed when Emma Rios left the book. Why Marvel is pushing the book while giving it shitty artists, I will never know.
Good, consistent art is one of the reasons why Ms. Marvel is selling better than Captain Marvel.
I can't believe that fucking idiot got rid of Carol's hip scarf.
Either Anka sucks at drawing women or Carol is transgender now
The hip sash has always been Carol's most inspired costume element.
Let's put some vintage Carol's buttocks in here.
Yeah, I like Carol and Jessica as friends better.
>"I'm threatened by the mere concept of homosexuality that I can't even find a heterosexual woman with short hair attractive because that is too close to a dude."
I'll be you secretly fap to trannie porn and cry yourself to sleep every night.
I consider that poetic justice for Fawcett Comics.
Carol Jessica is a ship for plebs.
Carol Wanda is for those with real taste.
It's fun to point out that all these beautiful butt shots came right from the very first issue of KSD's all new series with the totally practical non-sexualized costume you guys.
>Cause he's gay
He's bisexual, thank you very much.
What the fuck is up with her hair? Just fucking gove her normal hair for God's sake, what is this animu shit?
Yep and that becomes very obvious when you look at the costume without the red trunks, it looks really weird.
>Avengers: The Enemy Within - Scott Hepburn
>Hickvengers issues in the pic - Leinil Francis Yu
>Secret Wars - Esad Ribic
>implying Yu and Ribic can't make Carol's hair consistent
You forgot her ANAD haircut (that's Anka's fault).
Hopefully they wait until they aren't in space any more.
Carol is as queer as a three dollar bill.
They just decided to be bros and falling buddies.
They should make that canon. Every time the helm goes on it changes her hairstyle. Kree genetics ftw. Death to hairdressers.
So, in order to be equal to men, a woman has to become a man?
Thanks for clearing that up. Luckily, FtM is my fetish.
Comicbook ageing... The only female character I know who has aged in a reasonably normal manner is Cassandra Anderson in Judge Dredd. She's pushing 50 now - and has recently started sporting a short hairdo as well.
God only knows why Frank Cho is being wasted on the new Hulk book instead of rescuing Captain Marvel.
Cause MUH STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAN. Plus the "Carol Corps" will have an aneurysm if she's drawn by Cho.
Granted it's not like they're gonna bother with the new book since they were part of the KSD cult
Quite a lot of the long-running 2000AD series have characters ageing normally, not just Dredd, Anderson, Hershey and the other senior Judges. Nikolai Dante especially deserves credit for doing it quite subtly but making it really obvious when you realise its happened.
Arthur Ranson was drawing Cass with short hair about a decade ago too.
It'll either do badly proving once and for all nobody gives a fuck about Carol, or at least not the new feminist approved Carol, or it will do well and show that KSD was the problem.
It's a win-win.
Seems like it's inspired by best Carol so it'll almost certainly be an improvement quality-wise.
They really should hire Jamal to do a few covers.
Yes, the Warbird armor appeared almost
exclusively in Johns' Red Zone and a few more issues later, so it was in 2003. Plus, of course, the whole Warbird arc in Reed's series.
Anka said he was partially inspired by it for his new version. I'm not surprised, this thing was a MCU Costume before the MCU even started.
Why does a superhuman that can survive and atomic blast wears shoulder padding?
Vampire Carol was fun - hope we get to see it again some day.
That being said, It may sound like I don't like it, I just don't really care for it. It doesn't look like a costume, but like a standardized/generic outfit for a squad of mooks or government heroes, you know what I'm saying?
Here another take Coipel had.
The Warbird costume looked too much like a 'SHIELD Heavy Trooper' kinda thing.
Who wants and harmlessly stupid and cheesecakey storytime?
This is a thirty pages story that was contained in the She-Hulk Sensational Special dated 2010.
Just add a layer of black on her thights, like DC did with Carol Ferris. There, "problem" solved.
Speaking of DC, Jessica/Carol is nice, Wanda/Carol is good, but Hal/Carol is really the OTP for patricians.
>Plump asses everywhere.
Kek, one of the street signs said "CAROL".
Should've screen caped it? Meh.
And here's the end.
>Just add a layer of black on her thights, like DC did with Carol Ferris. There, "problem" solved.
That's pretty much what they did, but I liked the red they added to it. Frankly I just hate her blue and red costume
>What happened to her figure?
tumblr and sjw's happened to it.
