So this series, I just found out got cancelled, apparently for sales reasons, and I'm so pissed, it was the best thing coming out in Spirou yes, better than the Bellybuttons, in my opinion.

3 issue comic that starts out well but ends horribly

It basically turns the 'rescue the princess' trope on its head by saying the hero is a bad person for rescuing the princess. Completely ignoring the whole point of those stories and instead just giving you something lame. It ignores EVERY PoV possible that the hero might have in his head going on and just slams him in the end saying he's a bad person even though he was trying to help, it was shit.

Imagine Star Wars only Leia cries and screams at Luke saying its his fault the Death Star destroyed Alderaan in the end and she banishes him along with Chewie and Han...and she's 100% serious.

If you're going to try and be different, deep, insightful or creative you aren't going to do it by shitting on a beloved classic take on things.

Actually try to be creative, first book got my hopes up for nothing.

They're a couple and she's having issues with her past or something and doesn't want to talk about it, I don't remember anymore. I loved the first issue back in the day when it was translated for us and that short animated video was incredible to me and had me hyped...but it's not worth it, the ending blew and was a downer.

Remember it ignores the hero PoV though. In reality you can't take moments to talk shit out once you're in enemy territory, you have a CONSTANT fear for you life and the life of others if you wait. Back up, guards, monsters or who knows what may be coming any second, someone saying "wait stop" can be totally believed as someone showing concern for you and not a preamble to something else in the heat of everything going on.

Here gets shat on in the end for being a great one.

But even though I didn't like the ending for what it was....I really didn't like the Miazaki ending where he goes home and everything returns to normal and he's never to return again.

Nope everyone in the Dragon realm is actually fucked pretty badly. It's been a while since I rad it but I believe that the only reason there was peace in the land was because her family ruled with an iron fist for generations. The only way the magic would get passed into her is if she fucked her dad.
