they tried to go back to this with New Thursdays. it worked for over a year (minus the break in Summer for week long bombs every weekday), and then they went fuckall in September.
They shortened the New Thursday lineup from 6 shows to 3 or so.
Then they renamed it New TITANS Thursday and initially made the block's schedule have nothing but TTG reruns when something wasn't new.
Then they started doing repeated bombs with maybe 1 new show only on Thursdays.
Then, they screwed over Be Cool Scooby-Doo (which was only 3 weeks old) by moving their NEW episode time to 4:00pm WITH NO ANNOUNCEMENT

so fuck Christina Miller or whatever her name is, I'd rather have Snyder back.
If it isn't her fault, fuck the schedulers.
Or fuck Turner for (maybe?) forcing them to focus on their popular shows, Gumball and TTG, while fucking over the rest. They probably meddled with Adult Swim, too, with Toonami losing hours and all that stupid shit

The shows that revived CN (Adventure Time and Regular Show) jumped the shark and turned to shit years ago. Although CN right now has some good shows (namely We Bare Bears, which may be the best children's cartoon on the air), there's nothing that's completely revolutionary like AT and RS were and a lot of newer shows (TTG, Tumblrverse, Uncle Grampa, Supernoobs) are complete garbage.

To be fair, those creators do insert a lot of their opinions on said cartoons, but these opinions tend to be something that the general population (regardless on what I feel about this whole thing) agrees with, at least partially, and this place, even though it's pretty popular, isn't exactly known for having the same opinion as the general population.

It also probably "went to shit" because these cartoons no longer pander to you because you grew up and you wish they did, or at least that the creators didn't have any opinions at all so you could enjoy it, but you're shit out of luck because the world has changed and you can't keep up with it.
