Can someone get me up to speed. I'm pretty sure I finished Waid's second series but it was a while ago. What is Foggy talking about and how did Matt make people know he isn't Daredevil over again

The state of the Marvel multiverse post-Secret Wars isn't completely clear yet, I don't think. As near as I can tell, everything 616 is exactly like it used to be, except there are now some refugees from dead universes hanging around (Miles Morales Spider-Man and Old Man Logan, to make a couple).

I liked it. Good first issue. I don't mind changing Waids status quo, as much as I liked it. He got to finish it, in sorts, in that future issue. Liked Soule's attorney know-how and writing in She-Hulk and glad he's applying it to DD. The art was nice.

I thought it was alright. Glad to see DD kind of returning to his former glory. But did anyone else get a Lemire's Green Arrow vibe reading this? That's definitely a good thing.

Silly boy. That would mean authors would have to stick with continuity and no one does that in comics. NO ONE.

(Also, would like to know why Foggy start being a dick again. Why gained the fifty pounds he lost back? Why did everyone return to NYC? What happened to the book that Foggy was ghost writing? Etc. Etc. In short, I am dropping this book until Marvel can get its act back together for the next runner.)

At least it was better than the second half of Waid's run.

So how do we think Matt OMD'd everyone?
Magical deal?
Time travelling?
Or just a good old fashioned telepath?

I hate runs that start after a timeskip. It's a lazy way of shifting the status quo without explaining anything. But that's more the fault of Marvel editorial than Soule.

I am glad gritty, street-level DD is back. This run has potential but I seriously doubt the explanation for how Matt's secret identity is back is going to satisfy anyone.

I'm liking the art. Samnee's stuff was nice at first but it got old for me. This new stuff feels more like Daredevil.

Hope the explanation for his identity isn't fucking retarded. Don't see how that is possible though.
