Prepare your dicks
Now begins the interesting part of the book
>my suit is... moist
>The timeline here is making my head hurt.
>Diana's under 25 and has only been active for a few years.
Maybe Harley is just so batshit insane that she still has memories from the old timeline?
I noticed this and a few Marvel titles are showing us exactly what we'll get with the comic and this fucking pleases me, no longer will I be tricked into buying a shitty comic with a good name and awesome cover art (Fuck you Way's Thunderbolts).
So why is this called Harley's Little Black Book, is this going to be a whole series of Harley running into different heroes and helping them out because if so that not really different from what Harley does in any series she appears in.
That was... surprisingly good...
Granted Harley's always worked best when she has a straight man to bounce off of...
Does anyone know what the release schedule for this series is? Based on the length, I suspect this'll be a seasonal book...
That's exactly what I thought desu. Like, they're actually making an effort for the characters to try and interact with each other proper instead of Deadpool just messing everyone's hairs and yelling "GOTCHA!" to the audience.
I don't think I would mind a Deadpool Team up now days, the problem with the old run was that it was being written and published right in the middle of the fucking Waypool plague. The Deadpool and Spider-Man book sounds amazing and I can't wait for it since the creative team is aces for both characters, I feel the creative team for HBB works exactly the same, perfectly.
This idea is stupid as fuck with the current universe though. It'd be different if the universe and comics were built around episodic stories like in the Silver Age, but almost all Nu52 ongoings have arcs that drag on for years at a time, and this shot can easily spoil shit for no reason, like with Superman losing his powers. Everything is intertwined to each other as well, so it seems more like an excuse to ignore plot holes rather than have an explanation.
Hmmm that's hot. I just imagine after a long day of kicking ass, she comes home and locks the door. She turns the lights down and opens a secret cabinet. She pulls out a small bottle of nail polish. She then spend the next 20 minutes painting her nails with "girls just wanna have fun" playing in the background.
So wait, I'm supposed to read this and believe Harley is a heroic character and not a despicable scumbag?
Why is this something that sticks but private eye Riddler was gone after a rather short while because apparently no villain but Harley deserves a lasting redemption
Just a few weeks ago in this timeline she murdered a some airport employee for not having her luggage when she landed. Stuff her body in a suitcase too.
She needs to have her jaw broken and get locked up in Arkham. Or if not that have lots of sex with Ivy on panel for us.
I was thinking the same thing. Seems like pandering to her tumblr fanbase. There are better Batman villains who could do a much better series like this than her, but they don't have her following.
And its not even that great tbqh.
Harley sexually assaults wonder woman. Truly we are living in great times.
>So wait, I'm supposed to read this and believe Harley is a heroic character and not a despicable scumbag?
No. She's completely crazy, though not completely evil. Very little but very distorted morals.
The book isn't even remotely trying to hide it.
Assuming you'd just want to score sympathy points for them, there's a plenty of options:
>detective Riddler again
Hell, Poison Ivy would make more sense shown as a redeemable person. Or Croc, or even Penguin. Not to mention a lot of non-Batman villains like Black Adam or the Rogues.
I wanna see all these guys get redeemed. Snyder or some other Batman writer should have Batman help them out in some way and over the next 2 or so years, gradually fix these guys, cause that'd be something to read.
But they pick fucking Harley Quinn.

Guest-starring Green Lantern! Black and red are kind of Harley Quinn’s thing…so when the most unique power ring in the universe crosses her path, she has no choice but to put it on, right? Unfortunately for Harley—and everyone else—this hybrid ring is fueled by rage and death…and things are gonna get out of hand very quickly!
Oh right, I forgot about Harvey. I'd say the original Ventriloquist is redeemable too.
Stick Ivy on a team with Buddy Baker or Swampy and have an arc about her realizing there's a necessary balance between Green, Red and Rot and that she can use her abilities for good. A lot of the others would be easy to write a redemption arc for too, Riddler and Bane already had decent ones in the past.
Holy shit is the entire premise of this series that she annoys the fuck out of some hero in a team up? Nevermind, I want more of this just for this premise
>Little Black Book
Okay, yeah, it makes sense. I didn't know anything about this when I opened the thread.
Makes you wonder. Anon said that this series was sorta out of continuity, so it doesn't fuck with the Batman status quo. Those other stories won't happen cause they won't want to fuck around with Batman's status quo.
Nothing is in continuity anymore, though. Otherwise there wouldn't be a Rogues arc faturing Cold in Flash next year because Cold's with the JL, and so on. Writers can redeem whoever you want and make whoever they want a villain - did you already forget about Barda commiting genocide?
Not to mention that most current Batfamily books barely use most of these villains anyway - Riddler and Ivy are the only ones featured in something in prominent roles atm. When did Bane show up for the last time, in Arhkam War?
But won't it be mindfuckery if some villain gets completely redeemed and a few months later some other writer has them do something evil? Besides, its not even about the other books; would they want to redeem a character, meaning the won't be able to use them in the same book ever again (as a villain)?
Because nobody cares about Riddler. He's hard to write and isn't that popular. Harley is their second best selling solo so of course they're going to let the writers do what they want.
>You will never sexualy assault Hal
So Marvel has various dudes kill their entire universe, while DC has Harley sexually assault their universe.
That makes sense.
>Guy not sexual enough.
Knowing Gardner he would try to fuck Harley
>Listen babe there are things I can do, with or without this ring, that make anybody you been with second rate. Yes that includes the plant chick. In fact, she can come too.
