This probably is Robot perceiving an organic limb more than anything else. Considering the only sensory input it has some sort of internal audio receiver and two light-sensitive patches on its face-plate, the eyes accurately represent how insane the sensation of touch would feel. There's all of the holey parts for pores, the hairs and other extremities for growth, dozens of things that are completely alien to a machine and that would be blown out of proportion.

This is like giving sight to a man that has never been able to see. It's terrifying and overwhelming. It doesn't mean that Robot's arm is literally a bloated monstrosity.
