Honestly I think CN is mostly alright. It's that they fucked up Boomerang so badly that's the problem. I don't even understand what they think the point of that channel is anymore. I'm sort of amazed they don't run a Cartoon Cartoon nostalgia block. It seems like such an obvious thing to do, unless people just really want to watch some CG Garfield and more TTG.

Pretty much this. Cartoon viewership went down among it's main target audience, kids, because they're now focusing their attention on stuff like video games and youtube. CN has to bring in more viewers by aiming towards an older target audience, mainly internet nerds and hipsters.
