Nah, it was great. The city in the game is big and has multiple paths and secrets, and it's fun to race through. The game was discounted though, it wasn't full-price.

I really like the pro-bending mode but it would be awesome if it had online mode

As a huge Platinum Games fan and a an incredibly minor TF fan, it was not worth 50 bucks.
It wasn't even on par with Anarchy Reigns, and that was 30 bucks. I bought that game twice plus its soundtrack.

Hell VANQUISH sold at the same price that TF is going for, and that's a far better experience than TF:D.
The added price really only comes down to nostalgia factor.
It's TF, people gonna buy it; so why not charge em a bit extra? To be frank I bought it for the full 50. I know it's worth 50.

Well, Anarchy Reigns was multiplayer-only, so I'll give you that since it's replayable.

I think it's equal with Vanquish though. They both took me the same amount of time to beat and I've played both about the same amount of time after the first playthrough. One's a brawler with shooter elements and the other's a shooter with brawler elements. They're different in several ways, but I got the same level of enjoyment out.

And sure, Bayo2 is better. Still,

Also that this came from Platinum's C-Unit (The A-Unit led by Hideki Kamiya himself started production on Scalebound at this time when the B-Unit did Bayo2, then Star Fox Zero and now Nier: Automata) and that it was their first game as well (the only thing that the crew did when they were at Capcom were ports & Mega Man And Bass), thankfully the C-Unit's next game Transformers: Devastation was a huge improvement over Korra.

TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan should also be good too, I just don't know why Activision can't just use Good Feel instead as those guys worked on the arcade games back when the staff was at Konami.
