What did everyone think of this comic?
> space-hero story goes really well with the Moebius style art.
> sad old Duke gave me feels.
> could have explored more exotic locations on Tantalus.
Were the villains in the present patterned after a world where Thulsa Doom and crew beat Conan and moved on to other worlds?

I'd love to read a prequel about Duke's original adventures.
It had a strong start but I didn't really care for where it went. The art was fantastic though.

You're in luck. One of the story settings they were accepting submissions for for the Millarworld Annual was young Duke on Tantalus.

I only was interested in the moment where everyone on earth realizes that they've been huge assholes and started to eat shovels full of humble pie when he came back to earth on the spaceship
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the comic, but when someone goes on a fantastic journey, comes back, has no one believe him for X0 years, and then he goes again
I have drink in the pure bliss that is the expressions of everyone else's faces

They ate it on an national level. Glorious.

Millarworld has the opportunity to unite all of these moments into one universe. The moment when Kick-Ass World get's actual super heroes, the moment when Wesley The Killer comes back onto the scene, the moment when The Nemesis Program launches it's next season of villains in outlying nations and I guess the moment when a normal non sci-fi earth realizes that McQueen's stories are real.
Also, there are two timelines, right? Along the events of the good guys killing the bad guys and the bad guys killing the good guys, both Seltzer and Jupiter's Circle have their own winning timeline.

Why is "knee to the groin" a face move?
>>77823371
Hes doing it to save a planet.
>>77823075
This line drawing style is so cute. The cartoon color palette perfectly compliments it. If you can't over look it's wonky bits by yourself, ask for help. I'll pray for you.
>>77823145
I think that's the plan. Millar says he's moving into phase 2 of his universe.
I am curious to see how it all fits together.
Parlov doing great Moebius riffs on a derivative script.

>Ultimate Flash Gordon
The action beats are well done.
>>77824412
So I see a Slave One, the Rebel shield emitter and Vipers. What am I missing?
>>77826763
Pausing to light a stogey like that before a fight is the most bad ass thing you can do.

>Bender and the Iron Giant
>>77821855
>I'd love to read a prequel about the Crimebusters and Minutemen's original adventures.
>>77823752
>Jupiter's 3 ends with a lead in to Crisis On Two Earths
The Killer vs. The Superspy, Christ vs. Anti-Christ, and Kid Utopian vs. The Fraternity. That'd be the stuff
>>77829042
Damn, good catch. How'd I miss that?
>>77829249
>Christ vs. Anti-Christ
Are these both from American Jesus?
>>77829634
Yeah, Millar wrote the sequel over the summer. Plans for it sometime next year.
Going to be about thereal Jesus'schildhood.
>>77829042
You missed Rex Robot in the front.
>>77829684
Haven't read the first one yet so I better get around to it.
Fuck the Millarworld crossover has had a long build up. Wanted Started coming out in 2003.
>>77821574
Are we getting a second volume of this? Or did we already?
>>77830702
Next year.
"Starlight: The Last Days of Earth"
>>77830384
It's less build up and stuff that Millar was really doing on the fly
>>77831048
>Millar was really doing on the fly
I think he started everything so separately for easy movie rights selling and adapting.
And it doesn't need to be 100% mapped out to be a 'build up'.
>>77831211
I think that it was an idea he had in the back of his head, but there's more stuff that seems to have happened down the line of serendipity
>>77830384
Did Greg Land do this cover?
>>77831298
Yeah, like Huck being inspired by Man of Steel.
>>77835136
>>77831048
>Starlight: The Last Days of Earth
Is there anything about this online? I can't find anything.
