ITT: Cartoons that are so rare and obscure, that probably only 20 people know they exist, and if so, those people are probably over the age of 50.
No reruns on Cartoon Network, Boomerang, or Cartoon Alley, basically nothing but the theatrical release and maybe a few scant TV showings in the 60s.
Also, you guys probably know this already, but this character later appeared in a series that I won't mention the name of, where his personality was completely ruined and fans despised him.
This is going to be a very short thread again.
The many iterations of Treasure Island

There's some '50s Russian thing involving a wolf and a rabbit (I think). Can't recall the name but the wolf was a slacker ne'er-do-well while the rabbit was a virtuous Soviet citizen. Sledgehammer Aesop hijinks ensued.
I'm not sure if this one is rare or obscure or not, but it looks really good. I hope this guy's stuff is actually really famous in animation circles and I'd just never heard of it.

Holy fucking shit
Nostalgia'd out of my chair
The really rare stuff I remember were mostly live action shows with cartoon shorts or puppets, so they don't technically qualify, as they weren't strictly animated...

(The "Outerscope" and "Outerscope II" shorts were particularly strange.)
