This, I don't get why /co/ jerks off to this so much.

I just finished my run of that yesterday. I watched the first 13 eps on TV but got my cable cut. I decided to give it a go and I was surprised at how decent it was. The action and the humor was neatly balanced, the characters had some charm to them, some more than others and the animation was very good. One of my fears was that due to being on Nick, it wouldn't be able to see its full potential, but it seemed it to come out alright.

I don't intend on watching Korra, though.

I watched it as it aired and still don't understand the hype. It was alright. But nowhere near the pinnacle of western animation that people make it out to be. It was pretty forgettable to me.

I loved it after I watched it the first time. Watched it a second time like 6 months later and found it kind of boring and not as sad as it was initially. It's worth watching, but I agree that /co/ overrates it.

I actually think most things that /co/ recommends are pretty great. I liked Fantastic Planet, American Pop, Waltz with Bashir, and plenty of other great movies that I only found out about because of /co/. Sure these aren't mentioned often, but when they are, they're usually spoken of very highly.
