There was going to be a vampire episode in Batman: TAS, which would have used used an old Batman foe, Nocturna, as a vampire.

For some reason S&P vettoed the episode.

I have a friend who interns at WB who told me that a few years ago, DC pitched and started recording an animated show centered around Batman villains that would bring back a lot of the voice cast from TAS including Conroy as Batman and Hamill as the Joker. But it was called off because Hamill couldn't stick with it because of Disney buying Lucasfilm and new Star Wars commitments limiting his time.

Black Canary was going to appear in an episode.

The Batgirl/Catwoman episode was originally only going to feature female heroes but the executives had a mandate at the time that Robin had to appear in every episode.

The JLU Birds of Prey episode was originally going to have Batgirl becoming Oracle for a brief time after breaking her leg.

I remember reading that they would have liked to have had Nightwing around a bit but I don't know how true that is.

Renegades really started picking up as the show went on and the relationships and interplay between the team was just so great. Superpowered Ripcord was my only low point but I still think that plot in general was great.
