I don't really care if he did, so long as they did something interesting with it, and not just make it look like he's regretful he killed the fucker.

They'd dip him in the lazarus pit within the next 5 years anyways. or he'd return to the source since he's a god

I'd be fine with it. I don't know if I'd like him more or less. Depends on how they handled it after.
On the other hand if they kept trying to bring him back only for Bruce to keep killing this one specific guy over and over again...well I'd probably snicker.
