ITT we post crossovers between /co/ related and non /co/ related material
Jojofag here, ease up on the jojo its overdone to hell.
None that I can find, but I haven't looked very hard.
This is completely on topic so deal with it.
When you see it you'll shit bricks.
>I have no idea how the animators slipped that through
I don't see what would prevent them from sneaking in a reference like that.
You mean you've never heard of Neon Genesis Evangelion?
Look it up it's a worthwhile watch.
no one cares.
Don't know i never really got into Berserk
I fucking love that artist.
How has no one posted the avengers attack on titan crossover yet? it meets the criteria for this thread and it's and official what if story.
yeah it was just a free comic book day special.
whats wrong with attack on titan? what would you have rather they crossed over with?
>Peanuts Christmas Special 50th anniversary's on Monday
Again i ask what do you have against attack on titan? or for that matter toonami?
please tell me you aren't the same anon who had never heared of evangelion before.
also AoT is fine it's not perfect but it's still pretty decent. and 70% of anime dubs are good very few of them turn out shitty.
>I've never watched it and don't ever plan on doing it.
then you have no right to criticize AoT.
regardless of if you like it or not eva is still one of the most well regarded anime of all time you can't really form a proper opinion on the medium if you outright refuse to watch some of the best series it has to offer.
>if you don't watch Even Stevens Jellybean you can't have an opinion on anime
>Batman defending Gotham
Still less destructive than Superman
Plus, I doubt there'd be a lot of arch nemesis left after a while. No one, no matter how fucking insane, wants to be waken up by a fucking atomic blast in the middle of the night
>50000 tons of walking destruction are more effective at keeping a city safe than an actual superhero
Not possible, Booster Gold does not have a T-rex arm.
Because i speak English you dolt and the English title of the show is Attack on Titan.
Thats fine you get to have an opinion unlike the other guy. However, would you care to tell us what you didn't like about the show?
>jojo goes with everything
>Hellboy goes with everything
Yet i have not seen a Jojo/hellboy crossover.
throw in some harlem globetrotters as well.
just play Ultimate MvC3
King of the Hill also seems to go with everything, even Spidey
Don't forget the symbiotes. There is at least one symbiote crossover for every franschise
Only during the mighty morphing season there a metric fuck ton of other series after that. Plus i doubt the person who drew that grew up watching Sentai instead of Power Rangers.
Also the yellow in that pic clearly has boobs and a skirt.
it's fanfiction, bro
/a/ and /co/ teashop girls
Right well a couple of Flash talkback threads ago BluePower (the trip who makes most of the Flash webms) couldnt because he was on his phone or something, so a new tripfag calling himself ReverseBluePower showed up and started making them. He was very based so another anon edited that image blue and I saved it for future reference
if that anon was ReverseBluePower shouldn't the suit have been Red, or Purple? or literally any color besides Blue? that would be life Flash and Reverse Flash both wearing red suits.
>inb4 nu52 reverse flash
>Implying Godzilla wouldn't return them to Arkham.
Godzilla plays by the rules, it's just Giant Montser rules are giant monster rules.
Your image even proves it because Godzilla wasn't the one who fouled, Barkley was.
With all the JoJo in this thread, I feel like one of these should be done with it.
>Hank as Jonathan
>Boomhauer as Jotaro
>Dale as Giorno
>Bill as Part 4 Josuke
>Bobby as Joseph
>Maybe Luann as Jolyne
No idea for Johnny or Part 8 Josuke.
I would like to see how JoJo's characters and stands could look if they were lanterns. Like Josuke as a green lantern, Narciso as an star saphire or all the dead characters before the reset as black lanters.
The only other content for this crossover's in an imgur album, and there's not much if anything about any other major characters.
I'd pay some good money to see someone do more though...
you're a titan, he's a titan, she's a titan, the fucking walls are titans.
erin is a shit protagonist that can only yell
mikasa is a mary sue
plot points are dropped almost instantly
WON'T YOU SHAKE
A POOR SINNER'S HAND
The story kind of changes between arcs as its a legacy series (every arc follows a different "JoJo" who is usually the son or grandson of the previous series protagonist. The first arc can best be described as Sherlock Holmes and Watson flexing their way through adventures whilst screaming at the top of their lungs. It's a series that is very action heavy, but also has some very interesting characters, such as Dio Brando (who has become exceedingly popular due to his amazing lines and Reverse Flash levels of pettiness, though technically it's Zoom who has Dio levels of pettiness). It's a very fun show that has great animation. I'd highly recommend checking it out, either through the manga which is on I think part 8 right now or the anime which just finished part 3. Parts 2 and 3 are generally considered to be the best parts so if you aren't digging part one a whole lot, I'd still say to try to make it to the next part.
As for the popularity and fanart, I think they go hand in hand. The recent anime adaptation has been hugely successful all around the world. More people know and are talking about it than ever before so it's lead to a large increase in the amount of fan art and crossover art related to it.
>What is it about?
A long long time ago, a young man named Dio gets adopted into the wealthy Joestar family. Dio discovers a means to transform himself into a vampire, and its up to young Jonathan Joestar to master the sunlight art of Hamon and defeat him. That's Part 1, Phantom Blood.
Part 2 is about Jonathan's unruly grandson, Joseph, and the origin of vampires.
Part 3 is about Joseph's grandson, Jotaro, the sudden appearance of psychic powers that manifest as entities called Stands, and a trip around the world
Part 4 is about Jotaro's younger uncle Josuke, the origin of Stands, and tracking down a serial killer running rampant in a small town,
Part 5 is about one of Dio's bastard sons, Giorno Giovanni, and his rising career as a mafioso
Part 6 is about Jotaro's daughter, Jolyne, a strange prison, and the final legacy of Dio
Part 7 is about Johnny Joestar, a cripple trying to win a horse race for a holy corpse buried somewhere in the American wild west.
Part 8 is about an amnesiac who wakes up in a ditch with four testicles and no idea who the hell he is, and the enigmatic Higashikata family that controls the town he finds himself in.
It's so popular because the manga has been ongoing since the eighties, and it does a good job of increasingly bizarre and unorthodox fights, with many battles revolving around not who is stronger, but surviving long enough to figure out the rules of the enemy's power and how to kill them. It's also very cheesy, filled to the brim with rock & roll allusions, has lots of ridiculous outfits, and has a rather thick portfolio of memes it's generated.
there's so much crossover for it because it has such a distinctive tone that's hard to find elsewhere, while also covering a huge number of different powers and concepts and archetypes meaning that you can take almost anything, comb through Jojo, and find something that resembles it
>what crossover would YOU GUYS like to see?
Lupin in particular. He has a ton of potential: batman, spider-man, even inspector gadget
>Hellboy gets thrown back in time
>helps Jonathan with Dio Brando
>Jonathan has LUCK & Pluck. Hellboy has Excalibur
>alternatively, has to help Joseph with the Pillarmen
>pissed about working with fucking Nazis
>What is it about?
There are 8 parts, each with their own (relatively) standalone stories. They're all drastically different from each other, so rather than go through the plot of each part refer to my picture for a general idea. Part 1 and 2 focus on fighting vampires with kung fu magic, but the rest involve stands-manifestations of a person's soul that grants abilities unique to them.
>Why is it so popular?
It is HUGE in a lot of areas outside of America, part of it is owed to Jojo's unique flair. In fact, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure gets a lot of asthetic from fashion (hence the strange poses and covers), and it had a cross promotion with Gucci at one point
>And how come there's so much crossover fanart for it?
One reason is that the nature of stands allow just about any superpower to fall under its rules
It allows artists to go over the top with their art
There is so much room for crossover due to the sheer variety of settings in Jojo: you've got England during Jack the Ripper's time, Italy, Japan, Egypt, and the Wild West for starters.
a lot of the appeal also comes from exactly how the fights play out.
unlike most shonen. a jojo fight is never powerlevels. its never "shoot laser, fly into wall, shoot different laser with long explanation, until win"
In a jojo fight, characters have very specific capabilites, and are always trying to be as lethal as possible.
Its how they react and push their abilities to the limit which makes it enthralling. A lot of character powers are often obtuse or appear useless but are cleverly employed to killer results. The strongest character never wins in jojo. its always the smartest one.
Jojo makes a game of poker, hype. Jojo makes a game of rock paper scissors, hype.
"Dinosaur" and "Airplane" are both valid superpowers.
also Nazi's can be surprisingly chill in the right circumstances.
also if you are a music lover, you will adore jojo.
literally everything is a western music reference. From character names, to super powers, to plot points, everything.
You ever want to see David Bowie with the personification of the song Killer Queen, duke it out with a Pink Floyd song?
There is a vampire named ACDC, and a super power called Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap for christs sake.
>you're a titan, he's a titan, she's a titan, the fucking walls are titans.
Part of the appeal isn't that the things are true, it's trying to figure out why.
>erin is a shit protagonist that can only yell
Erin is a shit protagonist,
which is why it's obvious he's the antagonist. AoT is a villain origin story. Erin's a psychopath, both the good and "bad" guys have all said it.
>mikasa is a mary sue
And yet she can't really accomplish much, even being as badass as she is.
>plot points are dropped almost instantly
They aren't dropped, it's just the show doesn't spoon feed you what everything means from the start. It's one of those few things in popular entertainment that actually wants you try and figure things things out before it finally reveals the truth.
Sorta related? From the guy who makes My Hero Academia.
someone told me the artist for one piece actually didnt make this, is this true? if so then goddamn that's really good
Yep. People can copy styles fairly well.
It has a distinct style (Both in characters and art) that makes it feel different than nearly any other manga. This is also why people do cross overs with it. Same reason people do a lot of Cross overs with King of The Hill.
How about a crossover between Winnie the Pooh and gay ass porn?
Hey anons, do any of you have any Hellboy crossover art with pic related?
This series doesn't get nearly enough love.
Unfortunately no. It was a one-shot from Archie versus Predator.
Which someone should post here btw.
I'd totally read it, though. Even if it was a single-issue type thing like with Beasts of Burden.
I wonder who going to be the pillar-men for grayson?
And then he tried to distract Vader with babble but got force-choked like a bitch.
>Witness every person you hurt
>feel the guilt of all the the innocent lives you tok.
>see how many souls you have eaten.
>hehehehe, so thats how many breads ive eaten. Neat.
depends on which version of the penance stare you're talking about. IIRC the OG penance stare made you feel the pain of your victims, in which case Dio would succumb to it easily
Really depends on which Hulk we're talking about.
World Breaker Hulk is easily smarter than Luffy, although it's arguable if even World Breaker Hulk has as much ingenuity as Luffy has, what with him coming up with a way to make his rubber fruit power much more useful than one could've imagine with the whole Gears thing.
Here's that Pucci x Hellboy that was requested earlier
I'd assume that the Penance Stare converts and condenses all pain you've caused throughout your lifetime into spiritual pain, in which case I could easily see DIO falling victim to it. Really the fight is 50/50 between them, depending on if Ghost Rider can lock eyes with DIO before DIO perceives GR as enough of a threat to stop time.
Of course, since they're in the same universe in order to fight, I can only imagine that Ghost Rider would've developed a stand of his own to assist him. It'd be called「PANTERA」or something.
Of course, that's Part 3 DIO. Phantom Blood Dio Brando would get destroyed by Ghost Rider, and I could see GR take on the Pillar Men pretty decently in 1v1 scenarios, barring Ultimate Kars.
I think the more interesting confrontation, however, would be Ghost Rider vs Kira, and not just because Ghost Rider fighting Killer Queen would be the shit.
we need a Megaman X one
...I can't think of anything clever for Bobby
>one of the most laidback, joke cracking, fun loving protagonist in vidya
