So Weiss can summon anything she has defeated. If she kills/defeats humans, can she summon them too? Why is it that she must defeat them before she can do that? Does she need to absorb some of their essence?
RT making shit up.
nth for girl who may or may not have been involved last fight
>Thought Winter was going to be a bitch
>Turns out she's a really sweet Onee-sama who really cares about Weiss
I think it's just Grimm. And I don't think she's summoning the actual beasts from the dead. I think that she's creating them from scratch, based on the foes that made the most emotional impact on her.
I think its a pretty cool semblance if she can mimic anyone especially if she can copy their semblances thats pretty strong.
I don't think the shockwave was what actually broke the arena. I think that's just the arena hazard going off, like the lightning in the JNPR match. Someone pushes buttons and the arena reacts, think Hunger Games.
>yfw Jaune's sword (Crocea Mors) true form is pic related
>yfw it activates the same way
For fucks sake, and for a moment I was almost sure it would be Nora and Pyrrha.
I stand by the theory that Qrow is just trolling and he WAS the actual leader but he cant bear to let RWBY know her mom was some kind of a shitter and not as heroic as she imagines she was. Lets see how Raven explains shit when she inevitably does to Yang and-or Rubbles near the end.
Someone post the water stain over Summers face on the picture.
>She's Mistrailian version of pic related
I wouldn't mind
>Two posts within a minute.
Looks like he's a real BEAST in bed!
>"Sun, if we win we can put our trophy in the trophy room under our beds!"
>"Hell yea! We can have Neptune guard it for us, since he lives down there."
>"[Gavin noises]. Let's kick their arses!"
>tfw Scarlet will never get a fraction of Neptune's screen time
I said it. I told it. People didn't believe.
What if the Knight from the white trailer was not really what it seemed, crazy theory but what if what we were seeing was a over dramatic duel between Weiss and her father and she just see's him as a 10 foot tall suit of armor.
I mean the armor was not a grimm, and as far as i know their are no 10 foot tall people keeping 10 foot tall suits of armor around.
>Paying attention to Tumblr crybabies who are incapable of making their own characters and stories.
>Landwhales trying to ruin my daughterfu
Short Skirt Innkeeper is my waifu, hands off people
So Coco called Emerald "kid", meaning that Emerald is presumably younger than Coco? And Emerald and Mercury don't seem to currently be Hunter Students, yet they mopped the floor with two second years who should, in thoery, be more trained and experienced.
I guess they are just innately brilliant.
Dude, those things are troll blogs, I'm almost 100% sure of it. There's ones for shit like "gay character of the day", "autistic character of the day", and I've seen people try to argue against them and all they do is shout incoherent bullshit in response that literally sounds like a parody of everything Tumblr stands for.
>Ozpin accepts the caterpillar into Beacon Academy
>"He'll grow and sprout into a worthy hunter."
Me too, m8. That fight was one of my favourites yet.
Not only was it cool to watch, but it told us more about the character and their personalities too.
Can you blame me for not recognizing what's bate and what isn't when it comes to tumblr?
>the Catepillar is the ultimate Grimm hunter since it can feel no despair
>escapes the notice of almost everyone so it's perfect for stealth
>His Semblance is a formshift to butterfly for flight mode
>flies into Cinder's room at night
>pricks her with his ice sword
>she freezes solid long enough for him to fetch someone bigger to arrest her
The hero this show needs.
>Implying we frequent Tumblr enough to know what's bait and what isn't
You know, RWBYg, I'm not always on the same wavelength as you guys when it comes to RWBY. But when I see things like this, I'm reminded that it could be infinitely worse.
Forget wavelength, these people are in their own seperate dimension.
I- hm. You might be on to something there.
Maybe Cinder has a sister. Her semblance could be ice instead of fire, which would explain why she was a barmaid because her drinks would always be cold. Yeah, it all adds up.
Yes. Because it's obvious. You're letting a bias against the site because of selective distribution of their content blind your judgement. You look at that in a vacuum and it's bait right away, but you've spent so long letting people vomit the same crap at you over and over that you take it as legit right away as long as someone adds "Oh those wacky tumblrs!" At the end.
I just realized. The fake Yatsuhashi says Coco's name, and just that. Just a little bit earlier, Yatsu called Coco's name as she was dragged into the forest. So whoever did that illusion, they need existing soundbytes?
>You see Glynda...
>One day, each Huntsman must go through a metamorphosis...
>You don't pay me enough for this.
>And this young, bright student here is already ahead of the curve. See how he spins the strands of fate about him?
>That's what makes him special.
> So whoever did that illusion, they need existing soundbytes?
You know, it's the two year anniversary that gets me.
No thats one of Juane's sisters. All of Juanes sisters are a pallet swap of girls he knows. Except weiss who looks like his childhood friend that fell in a river and Pyrrha, who looks like his mom
You know, something I don't understand.
Port says CEMN is from Haven, but wouldn't most of the students realize they hadn't ever seen them before?
Doesn't putting yourself on a huge stage in front of the world kind of put a dent in staying hidden?
Even in my darkest shitposting, my judgement clouded beyond help, I couldn't even begin to consider something like that.
>Anything for love
>Oh, I would do anything for love
>I would do anything for love, but I won't do that
the worst part is that the artstyle is really nice
What I wouldn't give to be Coco right now. Knocked out and possibly blind
That doesn't mean anything if there's NO ONE that knows them.
You would think at least one person at Haven knows who they are, and asking around would easily out them as non-Haven
Then they must have other people that know them in the stands
A guy can't compare trash shows he likes to each other anymore?
So the really tough enemies in Grimm Eclipse are all-white Grimm, right? And they appear in a fog of mist, like what Winter used against Qrow in their fight. And RT said that the game would introduce a new antagonist.
So it's a Schnee?
>Schnees can summon Grimm
>Schnees created this whole 'Grimm' legend since the ancient times to cash out on selling their Dust and technological shit
>All the Grimm in the world is controlled by Papa Schnee or someone higher up the food chain
You saw it here first.
Having played the GE Beta, it lands you in the middle of Chapter 3 which is in Mountain Glenn and its underground. There are new grimm in there but they are definitely not all-white.
They're sorta like...toxic grimm of sorts with green glowing crystals. They have low health and explode when you kill them basically.
Of course nobody knows what's going on.
Btw the girls get their main art whenever they speak. This is Oobleck's
I see no problem with comparing Tomatoes and Potatoes.
>Behold my true power! Come forth and rise from the earth my golem!
>Cool he's summoning his stand!
>Now tremble--my what?
>That golem... he's your Stand right?
>What in the seven hells is a Stand?
>The thing you just summoned
>For your information, this golem is an unholy extension of my being, its corrupted soul is entwined to my--
>Yeah, a Stand!

Newly built Penny stumbling through figuring out what her emotions and feelings are and how to be a real girl
with option Norawhen?
So you're taking a boardgame over everything else in canon about the Grimm?
How can you play Fallout 4 for so long? I've played it for like 7 hours and it was fun exploring for some time, but every time I see character interaction and writing I just want to throw up.
I meant back during the first alpha when it was an RT project. Think they released it during Christmas?
This is what I'm talking about, at around 10:30.
Because I've never played any of the games that everyone compares the new stuff to so I'm actually enjoying myself in this new world rather than not giving it a chance like everyone else seems to be doing.
>this is why all the Schnees have the same semblance
>every generation is just a Schnee impregnating or being impegnated by their summon
>Weiss is going to get in one relationship fight with Neptune and then call things off, having secured his summon
Hey, that's what they said during the episode. That board game was the biggest plot dump about the world in all of season 2.
I didn't see any other countries using Grimm cards during it.
We saw 2 turns, you moron. You really think that grimm can't be used by anyone else?
No, she said she was near the top in her sparring classes, not number 1. That would be Pyrrha
You're missing the point anon; It's not a matter of whether the boardgame said it, it the fact that you're citing a boardgame as proof in any way. Go rewatch the World of Remnant about Grimm, it'll tell you all you need to know on the subject.
I haven't put enough time in yet to call it my favorite, yet. I still need to finish the main story
I was moments away when my Steam decided to auto-update or some shit and close the game on me, and then do a bunch of side quests that have been piling up. It's up there though. The Minutemen quests are a bit too monotonous though, but at least they restock the world with craft supplies. Plus I'll eventually have to do an Institute and BOS run. Current one is Railroad since the Institute irked me and the BOS made me lose one of my better settlements when I did one of their first side quests, so I said "fuck them."
But, uh. On topic.
Which side would your waifu fight for in the Commonwealth, RWBYg?
This raises an interesting theory, what if Neo's been influencing fights, like several of them, altering things slightly to alter the outcomes. It would explain some of the weird auto stuff that keeps getting people.
This fight was so much better than the others in V3. It seems to flow a lot better than the others, specially the team fights. You could see that there were sizable pauses in between attacks and barely any teamwork. Even Qrow v. Winter was unpolished with its DBZ bullshit and the unnecessary running sequence. So why is this one so much better? Have the animators finally found their mojo? I hope so, because this probably means that the 1v1 fights will be amazing.
Yang was playing as Mistral, and absolutely all of her forces were Grimm. Ursa, Beowolves, Nevermore, all that shit, nobody else had anything like that.
Watch the fucking scene if you don't believe me.
We know for a fact that the boardgame scene was designed to exposit on the world, that was it's only purpose. Why would they design Mistral with tons of Grimm troops and cards if they couldn't control Grimm at all?
Besides, it adds up. Just this episode we learned that Qrow went to Mistral as part of his mission investigating "the enemy", and it's a seedy-ass place. Somehow Cinder and friends are managing to hide as part of Haven's student body, and an aspect of their plan was getting the Grimm to attack Vale.
And that's all we really know about Mistral. That they're crazy suspicious and a ton of shit suggests they're the big bads.
Oh, and that team boyfriends is from there too. Maybe they're actually team evil #2.
I think the animators and coordinators have trouble with large fights. V1 and V2 they had Monty, fight scenes were his speciality. The new crew can do 2v2 but not really any bugger unless it's against Grimm. Mindless Monsters.
I already watched it, it was likely just as important as the fucking WoR on Grimm.
You can use whatever pieces you want in a game of Risk, so long as they don't cross with each other.
Also, one seedy town does not a nation make. Especially when people like Pyrrha are from Mistral
Y'all are stupid, download here.
I was just about to link it
The main thing WoR told us is that nobody knows what the fuck they are. That doesn't preclude the possibility that they could be controllable in some way or another.
Pyrrha is a socially inept killing machine, so I can see how the same people that spawned her might have found a way to control or focus Grimm.
I mean, if you know that Grimm are attracted to negativity, it should be pretty simple to get them to attack whoever you want. Just incite a panic - Which seems to be exactly what Cinder is doing.
Okay dude, for one There were Grimm pieces, i.e soldier pieces, on multiple continents besides Mistral. Add to the fact that Wiess was able to take RWBY's discarded air fleet and use it as her own that is another reason why 'Mistral controls Grimm' is stupid. Those pieces could be take by another possible kingdom card to be used as your own pieces. Or does Vacuo have airships now?
Secondly if Mistral was able to control Grimm they wouldn't really need a Huntsman academy now would they? Plus Grimm don't last long in captivity.
The board game is meant to exposit the world a bit yes, but they also expect you to use some common sense.
Do I have shit taste, or was this episode actually
On that note, I JUST changed the index page settings, so that it shows the file-size.
As a side-effect, seems most of the filename is cut off (though I imagine that won't be an inconvenience)
Wouldn't say worst but it had an awful lot of the feeling that one side wasn't doing anything at all. Every fight feels like they're taking turns, the only difference with this one being because Em and Merc are the bad guys, CFVY never got to have theirs.
>There were Grimm pieces, i.e soldier pieces, on multiple continents besides Mistral.
Because Yang was winning.
>Add to the fact that Wiess was able to take RWBY's discarded air fleet and use it as her own that is another reason why 'Mistral controls Grimm' is stupid. Those pieces could be take by another possible kingdom card to be used as your own pieces. Or does Vacuo have airships now?
Vacuo is made up of scavengers, so it makes perfect sense that they would steal the remnants of a destroyed fleet.
>Secondly if Mistral was able to control Grimm they wouldn't really need a Huntsman academy now would they? Plus Grimm don't last long in captivity.
Who says they need to be in captivity?
>The board game is meant to exposit the world a bit yes, but they also expect you to use some common sense.
Common sense would dictate that if it wasn't possible for Mistral to control Grimm, the writers would never reference that they could do it when designing the scene.
It's like if they had said Atlas had a fucking Death Star as a part of the game, it's be stupid to expect the audience to think that was just some fiction thrown in for no reason. If they didn't want us to think it was there, it wouldn't be there.
As of now, that's all conjecture and headcanon, and should be seen as such by all.
Pyrrha isn't socially inept, she's probably big at parties and such for being a star celebrity, she's just getting used to having friends
And that exact reason is why any of the 4 nations are able to do it.
>Weiss will show restraint when exercising her great power.
Okay one, do you know how much training it takes to learn how to fly a plane? Good, now apply that to a very advanced airship. See where that common sense is coming in?
Two, We have nothing that suggests Yang was winning at that time we see all those Grimm pieces. They were even on the Atlas Continent, before Ruby took her turn. Also the Ursai you were talking about? They were on Vacuo, so if Ruby is trying to attack Yang's kingdom she is literally going the wrong way.
And if Yang has conquered Vacuo already Weiss shouldn't even be getting a turn, let alone being potentially Three moves away from winning. Especially if Yang had control of 3 fourths of the board. Plus why the hell would a desert Kingdom have a navel fleet? Think about that one for a second.
Three, it's common sense because if Mistral could control Grimm it would make the rest of the setting absolutely pointless. It's a simple game of one of these things is not like the others. If it was something as important as controlling Grimm you think Mistral would have shared that shit. Like Atlas did the CCT
>Blake will never come over to your apartment and do yoga in your living room because you have more space than the Beacon dorms
Yeah, they mostly represent basic shapes.
Then when you're comfortable with that you can start deforming and combining what you have observed and apply it into other various objects like faces or bodies.
But honestly, art is very subjective and I'm not going to impose on you how to do things "correctly" since there really is no way.
More than that, but prior to Jaune deciding "fuck it, I'm dancing in a dress and my team is joining me", there was actually a great deal of evidence that she is BAD at parties. Him leading the Drag Dance was the closest thing to a "life of the party" the one party we've seen in the show had.
So emerald is strong as long as her attacks are swift but she's probably weak against most hunters
She had friends, just not real friends. They acted like normal friends, but put on an air that she was always superior to them, and thus could never build any meaningful relationships with them.
It's not that she didn't have friends, it's that they never reciprocated the friendship she tried to give them.
>A person that's literally a celebrity isn't forced to learn how to act at a party
You're retarded. If she was forced to be the perfect athlete/fighter celebrity, she would have been put through the ringer to make her ready for the spotlight, which would mean she'd have to appear and talk to AND charm people at parties
>Source for all the things I'm saying: My Ass
You're trying to extrapolate on a regular celebrity's duties and obligations and apply to them Pyrrha while screaming at some other dude about headcanon. You're an idiot and a hypocrite.
Scavengers. Mad Max logic applies, anything can be jury-rigged and piloted.
As for the rest, it simply doesn't fit that they would include that if we were meant to think it wasn't that way. It could have been anything but Grimm, but it wasn't.
As for why they don't share it? They're fucking evil. Even if you ignore the part about the Grimm, they're still being set up as the bad guys.
McGonagall, I mean Goodwitch is very cross with your stupidity
Did you even watch the show?
Yes, it would certainly make sense for her to learn how to talk, act, and charm people at parties, and for all we know that may have actually happened! But whether she simply never picked up on the lessons, or wanted to act like her real self around her peers, or simply is very, very rusty, the evidence in the show clearly demonstrates she is perhaps the single most socially awkward character of the bunch.
...You really are that goddamn stupid.
>Scavengers. Mad Max logic applies, anything can be jury-rigged and piloted.
I noticed that you didn't say anything about the navel fleet.
>As for the rest, it simply doesn't fit that they would include that if we were meant to think it wasn't that way. It could have been anything but Grimm, but it wasn't.
And so despite evidence to the contrary you keep going along with this on the basis of, 'A boardgame said so.' In that case you must consider Cards Against Humanity to be a freaking encyclopedia.
>As for why they don't share it? They're fucking evil. Even if you ignore the part about the Grimm, they're still being set up as the bad guys.
You literally have nothing to support that other than, 'they have smugglers and criminals'. Vale has them two pal. Roman Torchwick and Junior ring any bells?
Well, considering we've seen like three types of class so far, it's kind of hard to compare.
>History with Oobleck
>Grimm Studies with Port
>Combat with Goodwitch
>Some kind of environmental science maybe? with Peach, who we've never seen
oh god, it's happening soon
That was a better portrayal of the situation
Ruby is a charming young lady who knows exactly what to say when interacting with her peers. It's authority figures that set her off - and she only THINKS that she's socially awkward.
The only truly awkward moments she has is when she starts running her mouth around Ozpin and Glynda. Everything else is no more or less awkward than typical teenage social interaction. Which can be awkward, but does not deviate from the mean of her age group.
What's to say? Air fleet, naval fleet, I'm sure those dirty Faunus fuckers can get anything going.
What evidence to the contrary? There IS none. Neither of us knows how they might do it, so it's impossible to say that such a thing must not be possible.
As for support? Cinder and co are disguising themselves as students from there, which shouldn't be possible if nobody higher up was in on it. Qrow went there to investigate the whole deal, and our only glimpse of it is a shithole. We know they're backstabbing and greedy from the game, and despite multiple characters being from Haven they're still the most mysterious of all the kingdoms.
But most importantly, their students all wear black with armbands. Evil army 101 right there.
Well they are mostly "she/hers" blogs so fuck 'em.
This guy gets it.
Emerald has been laying on the snark this Volume, and it's bloody great.

These one sided fights are so shit and it didnt make the bad guys look badass it just made previously OP characters look like incompetent retards.
This. Only Yatsu was worth even half a fuck during this fight.
>Coco destroys their cover in the tall grass
>they're just not there because apparently they can illusion their way out of an AoE *teleports behind you*
we all knew they were going to job hard, could have at least given them a good fight
Did anyone ever make a template out of these lot?
Dude she took out a Deathstalker, a couple of Beowolves, and a few Nevermores.
Coco was just overhyped. And before you start with the whole, it took the entirety of RWBY and JNPR to take out a Deathstalker and Nevermore kindly remember that they did that at initiate level. As in just coming off of combat regular schools with no actual Huntsman training. They have now had approximately six months worth of Beacon training. We don't know if that standard still applies. Add in that Mercury showed that he could easily keep up with Pyrrha and it makes sense they could win if we assume that Emerald is on an equal level with Mercury. It's not like they lost to Jaune.
