Awesome friend, its BrasskJewsYourChromium09
Unless you're here to praise Lord Lucas for his masterpieces prequels, your kind is unwanted here. Leave, and never return. We are uninterested in discussion with those who favor those tired old movies with inferior special effects.
You sound completely butthurt desu senpai
So butthurt by 4chan that you gotta run off to skype? Do a little group chat with your penpals without people saying mean things about your cartoon?
The chat during the streams is usually pretty great. Its not completely circlejerky either, just people watching and enjoying Star Wars. And no, >>77768484 they didn't seem opposed to pointing out bullshit either. The Ketsu episode was pretty poorly received all-round.
So I understand anons desire to have a group of people to talk about Star Wars without obvious shitposters.
Honestly the shitposters are pretty obvious. Whenever the thread is able to ignore them, things go pretty well. That's just the problem though, too many people fall for obvious bait.
Since there's only 6 anons here, how about we talk about what color your lightsaber would be and why?
I'd have to go for black just because the dark saber was utterly awesome to me and because as a child, black was my favorite color
But then mace windu wouldn't be a unique character. Besides, I think Rey is going to have a lightsaber staff since she's already skilled with a staff and other guy (forgot his name at the moment) will get Luke's lightsaber
>I think Rey is going to have a lightsaber staff
I'd be A-Ok with this.
If it's a Yellow Jedi-Temple Guard one, I'll cum buckets and personally suck whoever cock it was who decided on it.
Same. That would be beast for her, but we have to find out more about her personality before the color is decided because yellow is attributed to gaurdians and we don't know if she's a gaurdian or a knight
Prediction: There are TWO Kylo Rens
The first one is present on the attack of Luke's students and helps abduct Rey's brother.
Then after the timeskip he's still hunting for Rey and she will declare her hatred of him or taking her brother. He'll take off his helmet and say
>No, I am your brother.
Showing that he took over as Kylo Ren, probably by killing the previous one. As revealed already, Kylo is a title you earn.
How many Kylo Rens do you think it would take to beat Guts?
Just started watching it myself, it's okay. I'm 18 eps in or so. The Jar Jar shit is pretty ridiculous at times, I think he got someone killed recently but I've already pushed him out of my mind so i can't say specifically what.
As long as it is not blue or green I will be happy
I will probably have a seizure if it's blue or green again, holy fuck am I tired of that shit. The new lightsaber crystal rules are enforcing a lot of fucking blue and green though and it makes me want to vomit.
>yfw First Order Stormtrooper helmets are still shit
>yfw they still can't figure out their bad aim is because of the helmets
>yfw First Order instead resorts to melee weapons like the one Finn fights using the lightsaber
Rey should avoid purple to evade the obvious comparisons to her EU counterpart.
Let's be honest, she's probably gonna end up using Anakin's old lightsaber.
I actually like the idea of her having a purple lightsaber, I think it'd be a cool nod to the old EU aswell.
Okay, what if she uses Anakin's old lightsaber, but with a purple crystal?
I have to admit I've never liked when they started color coding lightsabers by alignment in the first place, thought the idea of the lightsaber being representive of you as a whole from hilt to color was great.
I hope the current idea allows some variety. Blue, Red and Green is getting a little old.
>I hope the current idea allows some variety
Sort of, it mostly enforces blue and green as the standard that can't be helped but allows for rare differences.
I'd honestly rather the Stormtrooper kept it, in honor of the 501st. WIthout them, the Skywalkers would have been fucked a million times over.
both EU haters and Jainafags would be upset, given that the Haters want everything to be "original" and out of the EU's influence, while the Jainafags will be pissed off for Disney essentially ripping off from the EU
Jedi were keepers of the peace. They were only military leaders in their last years because it helped Sheev annihilate them. Now that there is only one main Jedi running around and a war that is starting to lose steam, there's no need for her to be both a Jedi and a leader, when she can just focus on one cause.
>I thought it was sooner since it was part 5 of that series that previously finished
Yeah, turns out that's not a thing. False reporting, although it's an understandable mistake. But yeah, that C3P0 issue is completely standalone, and wont even be in the shattered empire volume.
Comes out in a couple weeks.
I really hope this is the case. We see her using her staff in action so she's already got experience using a "long" weapon almost like she'd use a double bladed lightsaber. I think a double bladed yellow or green lightsaber would be dank.
I can't see a main character using a double-bladed saber for some reason.
I dunno, I think it looks cool.
The staff part can easily be cut in half making her weapon useless. Also it would be impossible to deflect blaster bolts with that. Stop jacking of to the character and think for a bit.
Shut the fuck up you idiot, so what if it doesn't make sense? Han Solo consistently doesn't get shot in his wide open head, in fact he even walks around armorless. While we're at it, Chewbacca has no business using a laser crossbow, lightsabers should be bigger and everyone should rock the dual sword style.
In canon, Green/Blue/Purple/White are the only standard colors, and the color of the crystal is determined after the Jedi claims it. Green/Blue = common, Purple/White = Rare.
Nobody knows where yellow and red ones come from, but Sith use red, and yellow lightsabers are part of the uniform for the temple guards.
It's possible that jedi who get yellow crystals are automatically assigned being guards, i dunno.
>Ventress made her her own yellow lightsaber
How do we know she made it herself? And I assume this means, (assuming she made it herself) she went and found a crystal on Illum and it happened to be Yellow?
Why would she not get 2?
>people CHOOSE to become temple guards.
How do we know this?
Post your helmets. Unless you are disgusting rebel scum.
Should they have announced they've greenlit season 3 by now. The ratings for season 2 have me a bit worried? Should I worry?
>The staff part can easily be cut in half making her weapon useless
Nope, not easily based on existing electro-tech.
>Also it would be impossible to deflect blaster bolts with that
It wouldn't be impossible at all. Absorb exists, anon.
>she went and found a crystal on Illum and it happened to be Yellow?
All crystals they find are now white and they get a color once attuned by the person making the lightsaber. It'd be odd to attune one and leave around on the ground.
Each crystal is meant to fit the person wielding it, so just wielding someone else's is supposed to be odd under the new kyber info. But not impossible.
I hope you aren't serious, Star Wars doesn't take a practical approach to anything when it comes to battle. It's all about stylized flair. Basilisk is the equivalent of heavy cavalry
What game is this from?
>>rey is a scavenger
>>expert staff fighter
How do these make her a Mary Sue?
We don't know the details of how she escapes the FO on Jakku.
I will give you this one if she isn't force sensitive, which would let her pilot a lot better than without it and a co-pilot.
So when do you think Poe started being a soldier? 16 years old?
What's the worst Star Wars game you've ever played?
I want my fucking KOTOR 3
fuck you Bioware
I'll never forgive them. I wanted to like it so bad but it shat all over kotor2
I'm making a rec list for DH comics. This is what I'm planning to include in it, is there something you guys think should be in or off the list? (I didn't include the Thrawn Trilogy adaptations because I feel they read better in their original forms)

I also enjoyed all of the infinities. pic related
Only a shitposter deals in absolute
I will do what I must
I can already see Luke post-RoTJ to reason with her and tell her that Vader is now a redeemed Jedi. at first she's going to reject him, but it is revealed that she's force sensitive and would have visions of Anakin telling her it's time to let go.
>she's force sensitive and would have visions of Anakin telling her it's time to let go.
Nah thats taking it way too far. I like the idea of her hating Luke after what happens on the Death Star II, and becomes an antagonist for him for a few years before her inevitable death
Soundtrack Anon here!
These have been added to the MEGA:
Star Wars: Empire At War
Star Wars: Empire At War: Forces of Corruption
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic(Complete Score)
If you had trouble downloading track 4 of the Rebels soundtrack, it's been re-uploaded.
Soon, I'll have these uploaded:
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Star Wars: First Assault
This looks like the inside of Ilum. Where the Starkillerbase is rumored to be.
>le hating on Daisy before the movie even comes up
>b-b-but her co-stars called her Wooden
In the beginning you idiots. They said she was very tense when she started.
How come they've said Boyega was a fantastic actor since the start?
They should have casted this little thing instead of Daisy.
They're pretty much a LARP crew. Kylo's the only one who was able to build a real (if slightly wonky) lightsaber and the others are stuck using crap they found in their garage.
I've added Tag and Bink, Crimson Empire, Dark Empire, Shadows of the Empire, Union, Chewbacca, Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand, Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison, and Darth Vader and the Last Command.
Forgot to mention, the Shadows of the Empire soundtrack was added too.
Maybe double check with this list the anon making a Legends MEGA made a while ago
Common misconception, those are all just rags and piles of clothes. Since it was raining they decided this was a good time to do laundry so that they wouldn't have to waste quarters.
Those aren't even upgraded TIEs. They just took some old ones, added some weird ribbing to the "wings" and a coat of cheap paint and said "oh yeah we upgraded these, they have blast processing and shit now"
Even the two-seater version was just them cutting a hole in the back, taping a sheet of plastic wrap to the hole, and connecting a second gun (which only partially works).
>But this is supposed to be top of the line!
Is Brom your Husbando, or is that pale sickly one still the one you love?
Aresko is still the one I love, but Commander Titus is handsome in his own right.
Pretty good, the Rex/Kanan teamup was very fun to watch, and Ezra shows us he's learning the ways of the Force quite well. We were saddened that the Interdictor was destroyed, but it was fun to see the thing implode.
Because Rebels takes place before and/or during the Galactic Civil War which in itself was a relatively peaceful and secure area of the timeline with very few if any major battles or ongoing wars
The Clone Wars was the polar opposite of that and that made The Clone Wars the more time invested show. Rebels has to play it really careful because everything's taking place in a galaxy under an imperial peace
Would the old republic make a good CG television series?
Brom surprised me, to tell you the truth. I thought he'd end up being another throwaway officer, but the fact that they actually went into his character a bit - their actually giving him a face and distinct voice aside - and had him survive his encounter with the Rebels actually made me smile. He's interesting to say the least, though I wish his Interdictor weren't taken down so easily. What's more, I actually liked that the rationale they gave for the Interdictor's existence was that it and other experimental ships and weapons we don't see in the films were meant to oppress and secure the galaxy prior to the Death Star's doing it all in one go
I thought the Interdictor got a great death scene. Imploding its own gravity well and slamming its accompanying ships into itself was beautiful. And yeah, Titus was a cool dude. Hope he doesn't overshadow Konstantine later, though. That porn stache needs more development.
The only thing they stated was that they thought about it and it wouldn't make sense to have them there. They never actually confirmed the exact reason for that, but people have inferred that it's related to Lucas's idea of Sith not being ghosts. That's not confirmation, plus others have come to a different conclusion, that they were removed because their planned part (appearing to the Son and egging him on) would've complicated things if the Son is already a vision himself.
Either way, inference isn't confirmation.
So I'm definitely going to donate this time around even though all of the high level spots have already been secured and pretty much knocked any chance of my standing a chance out of the water. Two hundred-thousand chances to win, what fucking bullshit
It'll go to good causes, at least
>They never actually confirmed the exact reason for that
They did, the interview makes it clear it's because the Sith aren't meant to become immortal Force ghosts. Perhaps you watched an outdated one or don't remember.
And the only reason anyone ever says it wasn't real is because of how silly it was. Filoni tried to dodge out of it and ignore what the writer of the episodes said.
>Rakata Prime and Onderon on the new galaxy map
>KOTOR1 and 2 might became canon
Obi wan Kenobi for the Xbox-huge
Fucking mess for controls, unintuitive as fuck. Game itself was good, but it's just that the interface derailed the fun at the worst possible times.
Korriban is canon, too.
Just not with that name.
The name change bugs me in a weird way, because why bother to make it clearly the same place but then not use the name? But then again, it is an old as fuck world so why not have a different name over time.
What's your opinion on Sabine's new hairstyle?
I would love a series in the vein of Tales of the Jedi.
One where you can tell all sorts of stories and histories from all over the place in space and time, like the Old Republic.
>She seems to be on top of things
Obi-Wan, you cheeky cunt.
>Rakata are back
Oh Lord, we're on one Hell of a slippery slope.
Spoiler alert, he also drives Mandarin's flamethrower zamboni.
OH SHIT I FORGOT TO SPOILER
> characters, places and situations
what else is there to a story?
so the situations and fantastical places these characters find themselves in are not stories?
shit that happened is enough canon for most. So what if the finer details are lost to time? People like to think the broader strokes of stuff holds true. This seems to be the Lucasfilm approach.
>This seems to be the Lucasfilm approach.
Their approach is the opposite. It's not canon according to them until it's referenced in canon. Basically, it either happened or it didn't.
Wow, then J.J. really made Kylo into another Char clone.
You idiot, you've captured Sabine's stunt double!
It was me all along, anon.
But I was neither of those posters
>Finally in theater to see episode 7
>excitement fills the room
>The fanfare plays and then fades to black
>Pic related appears on the screen
How do you react?
My plans fell through tonight and I want to make up for not streaming on Wednesday. Uploading all of TCW takes time, so we still have Seasons 5-6 to play with, including Rebels episodes. Vote for what you want to see and we'll watch some Star Wars.
So how much did Aftermath set up for TFA, if at all?
I've not been keeping up with any of the new EU much at all, mostly because I'm really interested in the new events after RoTJ, but Disney seems pretty set on avoiding anything major in the time period. They probably want to save all the surprises foe the movies, and I'm worried we're not going to get any major EU stuff until after the third movie or the second movie at least.
Winner of the poll will start in around 10 minutes.
New Republic is a thing. Mon Mothma becomes Chancellor and wants to shrink the military like 90% once the end of the war with the Empire is in sight, with what military remains serving as a means of training local militias in different systems.
Empire is moving more towards the fringes of the galaxy to gain strength, with a Sheev groupee believing that the source/wellspring of the Dark Side is somewhere in Wild Space and Palps had sent expeditions out there to seek it out in the past.
There's also a cult collecting relics of Vader called the Acolytes of the Beyond that might be tied to Knights of Ren.
>Chancellor and wants to shrink the military like 90% once the end of the war with the Empire is in sight, with what military remains serving as a means of training local militias in different systems.
This makes for a much more interesting galaxy.
>with a Sheev groupee believing that the source/wellspring of the Dark Side is somewhere in Wild Space and Palps had sent expeditions out there to seek it out in the past.
If they actually do that, it will be one of the dumbest things Star Wars has ever done. And that is saying a lot.
Have you prayed to your Lord and Savior today?
Some other books and one comic sets up things that are just as important.
Lost Stars: introduces Battle of Jakku a year after Endor; shows new TIEs going into production; Empire goes into hiding.
Shattered Empire, Uprising (mobile game), Lost Stars: Empire splits into a ton of factions after Endor, with each high ranking Imp trying to become the next Emperor. Lots of in-fighting and nothing important getting done.
Why didn't Mothma want to keep a large military force? I know Sheev's Empire was shit, in terms of abusing it's citizens, but dissolving 90% of the Military is pretty bold.
Local militias aren't going to cut it if the First Order becomes an even bigger threat.
The galaxy had been surrounded by giant armies for over two decades (Droids, Clones, Stormies, Rebels) and dissolving the army shows that war will finally be over, peace can actually happen. Also, at the time of disbanding the military, the First Order isn't an actual thing that requires attention, so no one knows that it will become an issue 30 years later.
I just inherited a top 100, level 55 cartel in Uprising
I shall lead it with an iron fist to certain victory, we shall crush all
Do we have any high level, high PR lurkers here who want glory for the empire?
If you lot are going to vote a three way tie, at least show up to the stream here:
Having a large standing military's too close to the Emergency Powers shit during the Clone War for her tastes and she's trying to distance herself and the New Republic from that crap as much as she can.
I really want Kallus to win the next time he shows up.
Well, maybe not force sensitive, but just that bigger things were going to happen for him. That was at the beginning of season 1 mind you, so it pains me that he's such a flat villain at this point.
>he's such a flat villain at this point
That is true, he lost his dynamic with the other Imperials on the show and when something fails for the Empire, Kallus is the one usually holding the mess in his hands, whether it's his fault or not. At least when there were more recurring Imperials, the failure was equally dispersed.
>watching clone wars cartoon for the first time
>second episode in, the droids make jokes as they cut open life pods and send clones to die in space
>droids wearing light helmets
Did not expect this.
Streaming Jedi Younglings arc and more Clone Wars in 5 minutes at House Ordo. Join in here.
Anyone seen these?
Seems unlikely. I think they're going to want to keep the number of Jedi that show up fairly low. Personally I had hoped that Katooni would at least hang around Hondo in the post-war era.
But they're all probably dead.
Who's going to tell their mother that her boys aren't coming home?
/SWG/, what deaths angered you in Star Wars media? Not saddened you, but made you legitimately angry that they died.
At least he fought for a bit. Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin were unforgivable, they just stood there.
You could reason that Agen got caught by surprise (which he shouldn't have but whatever) but Saesee had time to watch Sheev spin at them, then watch Agen get speared, and he STILL didn't even try to block.
The Lothal Imperials deaths, and the Inquisitor's. When you find out they were all going to live but were killed off due to a change in script to make a couple of cameos look better, I was really pissed at that.
The other death that angered me was Waxer's, but that was in-universe anger at Krell more than anything.
Anyone got that fan drawing of Ahsoka in that cloak she wore at the end of season five with her lightsaber out? That had a good style to it.
The Mortis arc was the creative team sneaking an episode of Star Trek into Star Wars. It is a really good arc, almost across the board, but it's also way, way outside of Star Wars comfort zone.
>see the inflictor (or whatever its name is) crashing down towards Jakku
>stare up at it
>as it's getting into the atmosphere and getting closer to the ground see a small escape pod shooting out of it
I hope they add that detail but I doubt they will.
That would make the entire game for me, and all will be forgiven.
>implying it will happen though
To create the DLC, Dice had to have been in contact with the LSG right? We can hope that they reminded Dice of that detail to add in.
Maybe instead of seeing it launch, as a ground troop you want it as it falls towards your general area and land.
They've said before that they're in complete contact with Dice to keep it authentic and accurate to the source material. I don't see why it would be any different for Jakku, so yeah, we can hope that the LSG get them to put a nod to the book in.
Perhaps the Star Destroyer is falling way out in the distance, and the escape pod shoots towards the playable map?
Or hell, I'd accept it if there's just an Escape Pod buried in sand outside the map. That's enough of a nod to the book to make me happy. An ordinary pod to the unknowing, but will immediately connect back to people who read the book.
The weapon of the Key himself, Mr. Plank.
>They've said before that they're in complete contact with Dice to keep it authentic and accurate to the source material
ROTJ Luke and orbital bombardments on Hoth were so authentic. Not to mention stormies without a helmet.
>ROTJ Luke and orbital bombardments on Hoth were so authentic.
Each character has one costume design. Pure Dice laziness
>stormies without a helmet.
Example of Dice not giving a fuck about the franchise despite claiming to be fans
Fuck Dice so much.
I just inherited a top 100, level 55 cartel in Uprising

loth-catscum with our pic related canon giantess
Do we have any high level, high PR lurkers here who want glory for the empire?
He's pretty cool
>we shall crush all loth-cat scum
I don't know why I find this so funny.
Also I sincerely hope some bright spark decides to animate this story arc fully one day.
So like, is the rebel cell Ezra's gang are hanging out with in Rebels pretty much destroyed?
I mean, their forces were a command ship and 3 blockade runners backed with A-Wing fighters.
Over the course of this season, we've seen the command ship and blockade runner destroyed, a bunch of fighters getting blown away, and I'm assuming a second blockade runner getting captured by the gravity well and sent to prison before Ezra investigates.
So the rebel cell has like, what? A single blockade runner and maybe a few fighters left in phoenix squadron? I normally wouldn't pay attention to this, but Filoni seems to be keeping decent continuity with the losses the rebels are taking.
