>Alvin and the Chipmunks 4
>coming out December 18
>Jak and Sly no longer have their original voice actors
If the fucking Sly movie ends up sucking (which how can it you can literally not fuck up the plot to Sly fucking cooper) I'll finally be convinced its impossible to make a good video game movie
>inb4 some fag says the Live Action Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat movies are GOAT
you meant Ratchett, right?
still, all i wanna know how Inspector Fox gonna look and sound.
>Literally the same day as Star Wars
Pray tell, show me an animated film next year that doesn't involve talking animals or animalish beings?
I'll be waiting.
They probably would have quit making them if not for Europe; the last one didn't make all that much more than half what the first two made in the United States.
Same deal with the Smurfs.
No. I meant Jak because if you played PlayStation All Stars you realized Jak's voice actor sounds NOTHING like him especially when the last game he was in was that shitty party game PlayStation Move Heroes
Dinosaur cartoon and Pets look ok. Haven't seen either.
The rest is admittedly cancer.
whats the bottom left?
and NOOOOOO WAAAAAAAAAAAAY SLY COOPER / RATCHET & CLANK ARE GETTING FILMSSS
>Wow theres some shit up there I don't recognize, lets look them up
>Richard the stork
>Orphaned at birth and raised by storks, the teenage sparrow Richard believes he is one of them. But when the time comes to migrate to Africa, his stork family is forced to reveal his true identity and leave him behind in the forest, since he is not a migratory bird and would not survive the journey. Determined to prove he is a stork after all, Richard ventures south on his own. But only with the help of Olga, an eccentric owl with an imaginary friend and Kiki, a narcissistic, disco-singing parakeet, does he stand a chance to reach his goal and learn to accept who he really is.
>Spark, a teenage monkey and his friends, Chunk and Vix, are on a mission to regain Planet Bana - a kingdom overtaken by the evil overlord Zhong.
>A family must use a magical box of Animal Crackers to save a rundown circus from being taken over by their evil uncle Horatio P. Huntington.
>A Mexican parrot named Cuco sets off on an adventure to defend his family.
Animal crackers at least seems to have something neat but
>Olga, an eccentric owl with an imaginary friend
>Kiki, a narcissistic, disco-singing parakeet
>Im going to need two guns for this.jpeg
Kill it with fire
>Norm of the North
Probably will suck but might be okay
Either going to be fucking awful or fucking amazing. Lego Movie gambit here.
>Secret Life of Pets
Never heard of it.
Is actually probably going to be really good
New Pixar franchise, so probably good
Pixar sequel, 100% a crapshoot, flip a coin on it.
>Spark, Sheer and the Wolves, Rock Dog, Animal Crackers
Haven't heard of these.
>Ratchet and Clank
If they get the same writers from the first game and manage to keep that same kind of humor, it's going to be amazing. Otherwise it's gonna be awful.
They're making a sly movie?
>Nut Job 2
First one sucked
>>Norm of the North
>Probably will suck but might be okay
I don't know much about it. I give it maybe an 80/20 leaning towards garbage. Has a small chance of being good.
Spark actually sounds kinda cool, depending on how they do it.
Yeah, it's not like 2D animation has never chumed out cheap trash at all.
>people itt hating on kung fu panda 3
have you even seen the second one? it's quite good. they even toned down the jack blackness
>Richard ventures south on his own. But only with the help of Olga, an eccentric owl with an imaginary friend and Kiki, a narcissistic, disco-singing parakeet, does he stand a chance to reach his goal and learn to accept who he really is.
What the fuck were they thinking?
Yeah, no, fuck that. That looks awful.
Actually its just a hit and miss
people either like kung fu panda movies or they dont
then people who dont like jack black tend to inflict it further dampening their view of the movie/content itself
for good reason though
imo kung fu panda movies are ok. worth a grab out of the discount bin at walmart
actually dont watch the trailer. Take our word for it that it sucks. Seriously I have never been more turned off for a movie before this trailer. Norm of the north is most likely garbage unless their preview material is all lies and deceit
oops to late
Seems like a movie trying to captivate the bird lovers audience. Its probably going to be a musical too thanks to the parakeet
I saw the teaser for Spark before they took it down for some weird reason. Was about the monkey piloting his ship through a mysterious sector of space. Felt like it's going to be a Ratchet & Clank movie... only without Clank.
>Good movies will die in your lifetime
What do we do now?
>chipmunks sequel that's guaranteed garbage
>movie that looks so bad I thought it was a tv movie from the trailer
>potentially good movie already plagued by furries
>video game movie that's about 2 years too late even by its audience standards
>toy story with pets
>only decent looking movie
>Planes 3 Dinosaur and Rescue
>movie that's about 10 years too late
The Angry Birds one baffles me. Does anyone still give a fuck about Angry Birds?
I'm putting it in the "crapshoot" bin. Either it's gonna be great or it's gonna suck. Entirely dependent on how derivative the sci-fi parts are. If it's basically just "star wars with animals" it's going to be awful.
Well they did just lay off a good chunk of their people since they can't afford to pay them anymore so..
Rovia Entertainment CEOs gotta eat.
at least the trailer seemed interesting
>Oh man nobodies playing my game anymore gotta shit out a movie
>oh fuck ran out of money
>From the studio behind the Alpha and Omega series
>Co-production between Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and Norway
>Adaptation of a now-stale mobile vidya franchise
>Adaptation of vidya
>Collision Course; another DreamWorks sequel
>Straya film whose release date was moved several times
>From the creators of the Despicable Me franchise
>Another adaptation of vidya, this time with Canada co-producing
>First film from a no-name Spanish studio that was founded more than a decade ago
>From the director of Wolf Children
>Russian film that is saved from a decade-long development hell
Post >yfw the Alvin release was purposely planned to be the same as Star Wars as some sort of "Springtime for Hitler"-esque plot to run off with billions
Shit yeah. I'm not real big on anime, but I always love Hosada movies ever since I fell in love with the art style & animation from the Digimon movies he did. Been meaning to check if there was a sub out for that.
Top row first, left to right
>Too average looking so far.
>Chances are good.
So only half of this list appeals to me.
>Kung Fu Panda 3
>The Good Dinosaur
>fucking blatantly putting anticipated films with the shit ones to make it look like they're the same quality
The point is that all animated movies that are coming out rn are talking animal movies.
What are you talking about, dude? If that's what you got from that image then that's your own thing.
The point was that all these movies are animal movies.
Get the fuck out of here with your bad opinions.
