Reposting theory for Vader vs. Ahsoka taking place at the Jedi Temple steps.

The Phoenix Rebel Cell is now in contact with other rebel cells(maybe to set up the foundations for the Rebel Alliance itself). Bail Organa and some others have found out about the Death Star and are given a couple possible locations(one being Imperial Palace). Ahsoka and the Lothal Rebels offer to go after Imperial Palace, since Kanan and Ahsoka used to live there and would have a decent idea of the layout inside(minus the areas Sheev renovated).

They get there and are sneaking around the Palace until they get to where the plans were supposedly being stored, down in the depths(perhaps near the Sith Shrine?). They have Chopper probe for the plans but discover that they aren't there(they had been moved to a different location). Suddenly, alarms begin blaring, as their search had given them away. They manage to blast their way to the front when they're suddenly confronted.

It's Darth Vader. Ahsoka tells the others to run, and rushes to confront Vader. They duel at the steps of the Jedi temple while Hera flies the Ghost in to pick them up. Just as Kanan, Rex, and Ezra are about to board the Ghost, Ahsoka vs Vader reaches it's climax, and Vader kills Ahsoka. Rex, Kanan, and Ezra all shout "No!" but are forced to flee.

Watch it anon, I promise you wont regret it. Animation is very unfinished, but it's one of the best arcs of the entire show with some of the best dialogue in the entire franchise, between Obi-Wan and Anakin.

I think it's possible it's Ilum because some things in the story of TFA would fit in with it. We know Luke trained some padawans after Episode 6 and Ilum would have been the perfect place to train them. He could have found out about it through Ahsoka since she's so close to Leia. Then we also know Kylo went crazy and killed Luke's padawans which would place him and the First Order on the planet. Ilum was also fairly unknown so it would be a good place for Luke to train padawans and for the First Order to build their secret weapon (that likely uses Kyber crystals somehow which would also give another use for Ilum. Also of note is Starkiller Base having so many underground sections and all the crystals on Ilum being underground).

Not really. Hoth and Bespin are so close to each other that on that scale they're practically touching. The maps is literally a rehash of the EU one. Every planet is in the exact same place it was before, even all the borders for the Mid-rim/core/etc are exactly the same. Open up photoshop and line them up yourself. The only difference is that Starkiller base is right on top of where Ilum should be.

Ignoring that you got the planet's name wrong, the Imperial scouts already report in ANH that they found a base but it's been abandoned for some time. If we do see the Dantooine base in Rebels we're not going to see the Empire invading and the rebels evacuating Hoth-style because we already know the rebels got out of there a good while before the Empire ever came looking.
