Any other /co/mrades watching the parade this morning?
>this was all 30 years ago
Have there been any floats as neat as this since then?
So, does /co/ have anything planned for this Thanksgiving?
Watching any thanksgiving specials?
Are you excited for Christmas? Getting anything neat?
I'm planning on getting a drawing tablet and some neato games. Giving some stuff to the family, too, of course.
>tfw not subscribed to nbc and i can't watch the stream
Yeah, I miss the years they had the Rangers dancing about.
And that year when the Samurai rangers rescued Al Roker
By comparison the past two years have been underwhelming for Power Rangers.
Foster's Home, too.
What does a balloon parade have to do with Thanksgiving?
It's always fun to sit with /co/ and enjoy holidays together.
Any of you got stuffed planned for the holidays?
To be fair, the parade is mostly viewed as the official kick-off event to the Christmas season. The only real Thanksgving things are right at the start of the parade with the giant headed pilgrims and the Tom Turkey float.
Not really. Might head to Wal-Mart to see if I can grab Splatoon, since it's not available online and Amazon doesn't price match. Never done in-person BF shopping before.
Other then that probably try to eat lite and binge IBO or something.
Same anon from >>77731981 here.
I'm spending time with my family for Turkey day, probably grabbing a drawing tablet and some 3DS/Wii U games. Splurging on the steam sale, too.
A bit off topic, but what would be the best drawing tablet for a beginner?
Do fucking nothing but vidya and wait for tomorrow to grab a Wii U for blackfriday.
I'm from europe though.
Don't get trampled to death or maced out there, anons.
CBSN newscasters probably never read the books, he acts exactly like a middle school boy should.
>tfw my country is not free. I wanna be american and eat american things like turkey and pie and burgers and french fries and sushi.
Just watch the first season and skip everything else.
I'm being serious, everything past that is filler. Season 8-10 were nice attempts as trying to "fix" the series, but it still isn't anything to hit home about.
And what's the deal with Cracker Barrel? It's not a cracker, and its not a barrel!
dat Eruptor looming in the background.
Last year they gave out some sort of special Skylander figure of him with no base.
>ranging from race cars to boats to jets
And expand dongs.
I'd say he's a mascot of the Fire Element Skylanders.
For whatever reason, Spyro has been downplayed and Trigger Happy is sort of the mascot of the first game (Tree Rex for Giants, Wash Buckler for Swap Force, Snapshot for Trap Team and Spitfire for Superchargers)
Well it just launched the 5th game in the series this year, sales seem to be pretty decent all around. Plus it partnered with Nintendo to have special edition amiibo/skylanders figures.
And a movie is in development.
Oh wow they just had a commerical for Superchargers.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for all these goddamn toys to life things, but Superchargers I actually had a blast with. If you have a wii u, for $39.99 you get a dong amiibo thats also a skylander, stealth elf and dong's land vehicle and you can basically beat the game with just that stuff.
The game is actually quite fun, lots of awful cheesy puns, a fucking kaiju battle, the racing stuff is relatively fun and there's a whole online mode with racing that makes it like a mario kart clone.
>people still believing it
Fist, helium is the second most abundant element in the universe. Second, is true in part that pure helium is having shortage, most waste coming from industrial purpose and space programs, not silly parades. And that opens up the final point, you can produce not-so-pure helium, but those are kinda expensive, so mostly times demonstration balloons and such have only a minor part of pure helium and a huge part of generic helium.
>THIS NIGGA IS EXPLAINING WHAT POKEMONS ARE
If it have Pokemon's , it sells
>In the 1920s, many of Macy's department store employees were first-generation European immigrants. Proud of their new American heritage, they wanted to celebrate the American holiday of Thanksgiving with the type of festival their parents had loved in Europe
>With an audience of over 250,000 people, the parade was such a success that Macy's declared it would become an annual event.
>yfw ISIS attacks the parade
They aren't Queen Mab in that self important 90's TV series of Merlin.
Thinking about them is highly appropriate, just not letting them rule your life with fear or obsession.
But thinking about how to deal with the conditions that create them and how to kill or disable the current crop, that makes sense.
pokeman is my favorite pokemon
Any other stream but CBS? Those fucking commercials, c'mon...
>"Mm, look at all these happy ingredients...
We can only hope, Boco.
Look! It's Funky Winkerbean!
now they are talking about football, fuck this shit.
>CALLING THAT SHIT FOOTBALL AT ALL
>There will never be a giant Star Butterfly balloon
They're doing a favor to all the white people out there watching this with their family's and don't want to hear their Uncle start blaming Obama for casting the Founding Fathers as a bunch of blacks.
>HEY KIDS INSTEAD OF A TURKEY AND ALL THAT WORK WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A BIG MAC INSTEAD?
> Having thanksgiving dinner at McDonald's.
Holy shit that is depressing.
I dunno which is worse about Elf on the Shelf: the creepy concept or how hard they cram it down our throats every year.
You can't make something a "treasured holiday tradition" just by saying it is, guys.
Good old Snoopy.
Hallmark Channel: When you need some extra sap on your pancakes.
Ah, Mariah Carey. I know you never put your dick in crazy, but she is built like a brick shit house. Love this song, too.
>santa finally appears
>fucking commercial break
it's like pottery!
I swear. It's like these corporations just put on this show to make money.
>You can't make something a "treasured holiday tradition" just by saying it is, guys.
Well it you spam it enough, you can. See the Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer cartoon as proof.
woah, top tier santa this year. This guy's got serious energy.
CHRISTMAS IS HERE
Now what, anons?
What are you planning to get for christmas?
what's up with black people and pikachu?
I plan on trying to not to get crippling depression and killing myself
>mfw they listed Rick Astley's name with all the other celebrities at the start of the parade so I knew it was coming
Anyone have a clip of the moment? I was watching it on NBC.
