Also Barry Allen. For some reason, Mar-Vell just seems to be the only one who will never come back, ever (excluding alternate universe stuff like Ultimate Marvel or Age of Apocalypse).

I fear they may somehow make Rich a permanent death in comics. Since thus far he hasn't been a single thing, not even Secret Wars. He only made a shitty reappearance in a flashback in Bendis's GotG and was given the worst death imaginable.

Litteraly almost all of them. Every time some one dies in a comic, its a big deal. Except they aren't dead, because it was a ruse, or an illusion, or because of time travel, or deals with the devil, or they were a clone, or from an alternate universe, or alien technology, or magic, or terrestrial super science, or they transfer bodies, or biological superiority, or they pull some bullshit contingency out from so far up their ass that they would have had to swallow it, or just good old fashioned "accident," like falling into a cart full of fish or something.

Comic books exist in the realm of a very strict demiurge, where the only people who die are those created specifically to die. Parental figures, siblings, best friends and significant others.
