I have 3, one's a slave driving hard ass that makes you feel like a failure, one's a disgruntled ex-disney princess stuck in her glory days. The third is a cool guy, but usually FAR too busy with outside projects to give a shit about student's work.

Granted their advice is sometimes for the better, like the basic principles they got from people like Milt Kahl, Glen Keane, or Don Bluth while they were learning, but they all seem to lack that same passion to inspire.

Well depending on your school's focus you can either be on the more production side or the more creative side of things
Though 3D is actually a bit better for story since you can re use stuff a bit easier
