This shit was PERFECT.
I feel empty inside because of how perfect it is and how I now know of nothing else to read like it.
Maybe O'Malley's other works?
>>77665367
Have you tried O'Malley's other works? Seconds is pretty good.
>>77665395
it's not like there's many of them, there's only Seconds and Lost at Sea
i mean like other artists/authors who have a similar style
What appeals to you in Scott Pilgrim, anons ?
Please give me the details. The magic never worked with me.

>This shit was PERFECT
How does it feel being a 16 year old loser, anon?
>>77666448
I've only seen the movie and really hated it. Is the comic a lot better?
>>77665367
>Perfect
More like at the perfect time in your life for you to read it.
Scott Pilgrim will literally only be relevant until all of our generation ages above 30.
>>77665436
>i mean like other artists/authors who have a similar style
Radio has a very similar style to O'Malley. You should check her out!
>>77666570
This is definitely porn.
>>77666582
It certainly is!
>>77666606
Not OP but... why did you suggest this?
Do you just want to talk about your porn, friend?
>>77666552
>More like at the perfect time in your life for you to read it.
Scott Pilgrim is a classic because it perfectly encapsulated that naughties feel. Where everything was a muddled mess and all our culture felt like a rehash of past cultures that had come before.
I don't know how well it will age. The alt-band culture described in Scott Pilgrim is already alien to most teens.
>>77666514
Don't remember
Enlighten me
>>77666624
It is very good porn.
>>77666639
That's what I'm saying, right, it's just going to fade as we all grow up. On top of that it's not like we'll want to keep it alive, who wants to remember being a shitty awkward teenager whose only identity was the brands he based his life around?
>>77666624
Because she's a comic book creator with a style similar to Bryan O'Malley and the OP was specifically asking for that?
The styles are so similar that Bryan O'Malley had to make a public statement that he wasn't Radio.
>>77666710
Other than both of their styles being simplistic what do they have in common, exactly?
A comic is more than the art. There's mood, writing, context AND art.
I've read most of those comics before this thread and I just don't see how it's relevant.
>>77666549
Yes
If you're going to hate Scott Pilgrim, you have to hate it right or it doesn't count
