I enjoyed it more before the octopus girl showed up, actually. The imagery is well done, but the story is just so cliche... it killed my interest.

I think this is a case where the animators were only interested in showing off their visual/technical prowess. There's really nothing more fun to animate than a woman, except maybe a woman with 6 tentacles.
