>Jessica Jones soon
>too fucking tired to keep on
Why pay 6 quid when i can watch it in the same quality and pay nothing?
Bit off topic but next week I'm meeting up with Laurence Campbell to buy some work and prints off of him, he did a Punisher Max series. What would people recommend? Assuming we're all fans here.
Not happening. Quesada confirmed Iron Fist isn't going anywhere. He was however very enthused to talk about Punisher in S2 of Daredevil so Frank's show might be around the corner.
Quesada said yesterday those rumors were absolute bullshit. Iron Fist is still getting his show.
I seriously don't care about supporting it. But i will in other ways, for instance i will suggest it to my friends if its a good show, and they have Netflix, and i will in the future do the cinema to watch Marvel capeshit to which the tickets are like £12 a pop, and fuck them anyway this tv show is in the marvel cinematic universe so its part of a billion dollar franchise,so I'm keeping my £6
Its not about being cheap its the principles of the matter, and good things get cancelled because they get low ratings because they are obviously shit. You really think they get cancelled because of piracy lmao
So that "someone else in the neighborhood" that will appear in the episode...
Matt Murdock or Claire Temple? While I would like Daredevil to appear, I'd love to see Matt pop up briefly in one episode.
Wait, yeah, how does a talkback work when we're all not necessarily watching it at the same time?
that's why i abandon the thread as soon as the show drops because you know some asshat is gonna skip to the last episode and spoil the fuck out of everything. happened with daredevil.
I can only imagine the chaos.
Let open the gates of hell.
Surprised this isn't a sticky or wont that happen because its a TV show?
Do any other anons like me come from /tv/ to /co/ to discuss tv shows, simply because its impossible to talk about film and tv on /tv/?
If you make a thread on /tv/ about shows like this the thread will devolve into a debate about the black storm trooper from star wars, c.u.c.k.s, feet, or who's got better taste in shows
but will she be rocking a fro?
also, her being in this is a fucking non-event. if you hadn't mentioned it then i literally wouldn't notice.
would you rather this?
you wouldn't even notice unless you were looking for it.
b-baka i don't even like girls anyway
No, he's not a psychic. He can't read minds. What he can do is basically compel anyone to do exactly what he wants. The number of people who can resist his powers can be counted on one hand, I believe.
I've gone there three times in my life. Both times, some faggots were spamming black chick porn. One of the times wasn't even a /co/ related thing, I just saw a news story about a kids show producer who produced a movie called Kekhold and "racists flamed her", and to this day I'm convinced /tv/ was somehow involved.
Any suprised we didn't giveva happy ending joke just now?
>I dont NEED to get fingerbanged by one of your asian women, i need tk deal with this...
>Keep your voice down. ..
and then go on from there.
I don't know it's what I would do
I forget, is AoS still doing the whole "There's no such thing as psychics!" thing? I recall that being the one thing they explicitly said never happened, which I always figured to be a wink and a nod towards the fact that most psychics in Marvel are mutants.
almost definitely. Probably related to why she pushed Jessica into becoming a hero in the first place. Hellcat wanted a sidekick, or at least someone that knew what it was like, and now blames herself for what happened.
>she puked up lukes load on the sidewalk
but this show has some of the worst fight choreography I have ever seen. like its adam west batman tier shit with punches clearly whiffing in the air and people getting knocked out. The director should be embarrassed
What made Alias amazing was the fact that you got used to this character. You learned and started loving Jessica. The fact that Killgrave was introduced so late in the series made it much more amazing. Finally you got some perspective and insight into why Jessica is the way she is. I think that's why I'm not liking this as much as I could be.
What shithole 3rd world country do you live in?
Not that I disagree with you Anon, but try to sell me on the book without mentioning Killgrave. What's her major arc, and what episode-by-episode plots can you do, given both with what Marvel legally can do (copyrights limit you from X-Men or Spider-Men characters), as well as what's been introduced into the MCU.
Killgrave and the dynamic with Luke Cage is probably the biggest part of that book, sadly.
by touching. I dunno what it's like in real life but in fiction there's usually an obligatory scene where the blind one touches their partner's face to get a mental image of them
Jesus fuck first scene Tennant is fully in and he's absolutely fucking terrifying, I'm not even a Doctor Who fan but he's obviously the best actor in the show. Ritter has been good too, I like how Jessica isn't as DAMAGED as I thought she would be because that would get old real fast, I'm fine with her drinking a bunch because Alias Jessica is a drunk and kinda slutty too. Dunno about Cage's actor yet, just started the third episode and I like him but he hasn't been a huge standout yet. Dialogue in the show has been pretty great, which is what a Jessica Jones show needs more then anything.
Overall the only complaint I have is the action scenes aren't the best but like I said I'm only on the third episode. But hey it's not like Jess and Luke are ninja-type fluid fighters like DD so I'm okay with it being just PUNCH HARD fights for this show. I mean it's not like the final fight against Kilgrave is gonna be some Kung-Fu Hustle shit, Purple Man isn't supposed to be able to fight worth shit.
I miss when Luke Cage was Power Man and an actual superhero
Hmm, I guess all that's true. Imagine if they got Chris Evans to do a cameo. The thought makes me wet.
I think what they should have done is make Killgrave a complete mystery until a couple episodes in. Make us wonder why Jessica acts this way until we discover something really bad happened to her. Drop the bomb, make us amazed.
Also, I wish Jewel had pink hair. She would be so cute.
Side note: What made me love Daredevil is Charlie Cox's acting. Everyone so far has been meh.
Yes, because comic books are for children.
And back then people weren't jaded media sotted idiots who thumb their noses up at evrything because they didn't have the balls or patience to be entertained by anything.
And a name like killgrave sounded intimidating.
What, you don't think a human being could possibly have a name that sounds too cool to be real? I know a man named Jimmy Champagne in real life. Kilgrave doesn't sound that outlandish.
Fuck that whole obsession of trying to reduce everything that is outlandish into something mundane so it can blend in quietly.
That's kind of what I mean though.
Jess breaks two locks and enters the Nurse's locker rooms, and there isn't any sort of increases in security? I dunno, seemed to convenient that she's just allowed to waltz on in.
Why is Marvel insisting on writing these exceeding long origin stories for these shows where they spend so much time showing their characters living a mundane, normal life in civilian clothing?
They fucked up by not immediately starting the first episode of Daredevil with him already being Daredevil, and by not making a Heroes for Hire show with Luke, Danny and Misty Knight as the main characters
Shield is to busy dealing with Inhumans shit, and the Avengers, at least according to what we see in the movies, only convene for single missions, and then disband.
He owns a bar. They probably won't go into full Hero for Hire until he gets HIS show.
the only legit flag is one short segment of an episode on a talk show, so far.
Also if Kilgrave is aware of SHIELD (which he should) he probably has a goon on the inside wiping up after him
4Koma episodes reaction image when?
Yes and no. In the books, it's a straight man who's a minor member of Iron Fist's supporting cast. Most recent appearance he's had, I believe, was in New Avengers, post Civil War, he told Iron Man that Danny doesn't need to register as Iron Fist because he's already registered as a lethal weapon.
It's just the weekly discussion in general that's lacking. These Netflix shows always have weird levels of discussion after they come out because you have to watch the whole show to talk about it after the runtime has passed.
I mean aside from the fact that she sized his body up and he said he had a british accent, it was also a relatively benign sounding request compared to "I fucked my gardener" and "I robbed a store while high"
>hands off my brother cougar
>you're all alone, so you have to pick away at other peoples happiness
episode 2 19:25 in elevator scene
>mfw at the bro-con/sis-con incest
>they're playing beach house in ep 5
Good taste, lady.
I just saw the Jewel costume and that was my least favorite part. I feel like the costume should exist in a way that she wants something resembling it. The way she is established it certainly makes sense on its own and not as an adaptation but I just dont like it. I mean obviously I would want a properly made one and not the cheap thing they made to purposefully be cheap and of course I realize its petty and the episode's still good.
I fucking hate this shit. Just like Absorbing Man they are essentially flat out saying he will never be a proper villain and fight who he is supposed to fight and us instead being wasted here.
did she-hulk ever sleep with him? I remember there being an actual list when someone tried to get her disbarred, claiming that being She-Hulk counted as being under the influence
>episode 5 and she still hasn't flown yet, just jumped really high
>no mention of JJ not being able to land
>no crashing into Cage's fridge because she flew while drunk
is this just a budget thing?
See, I don't know if this is some bullshit head canon, or if it was actually specifically stated somewhere, but I feel like Matt's "A Good Christian Boy" despite the chicks he pulls in, at least in terms of actual sex.
>first episode has a scene with her sitting on the toilet
fuck this I'm done with this show already.
I didn't really like the pilot, the acting and writing are really putting me off. The exchange between Cage and Jones was really off-putting, it sounded like two hipsters fresh out of high school trying to sound mysterious and edgy. And Christ, the extra in the car
>YOU'RE......... one of them!!
Do the writing and acting improve as the show progresses, or does it stay the same throughout the rest of the season?
budgets are allocated according to how many new subscriptions a show is expected to bring in. the daredevil brand, while not amazing, is still significantly stronger than jessica jones
I actually asked a blind guy I knew back in highschool. Not about fucking, but about how he tells if a girl's attractive. He says it's mostly about if their voice sounds nice and the seem confident, and also he can tell if they're fat by touching them on the arms.
>That house buying scene
Is it weird that I liked that scene? You genuinely get the feeling that Killgrave is TRYING to not use his powers, even wording shit carefully so as not to directly give an order. Granted, I haven't seen the entire series yet so I'm probably wrong, but that's an interesting angle.
Gree-tings, allow me to introduce you to my associates in the world of, how you say, organized crime.
Dat's Legs, dat's Louie, over dere is Johnny Tightlips, Jimmy da Snitch, Frankie da Squealer, Jimmy da Hat, Joey da Arsonist, Lil' Mikey, Big Mikey, an' Tommy Two-Tones
Welcome, to our organization, Jimmy Champagne.
>They fucked up by not immediately starting the first episode of Daredevil with him already being Daredevil
Cry some more, piss baby.
Kilgrave is pretty much the only interesting thing in this show. And this actress playing Jessica is pretty awful.
I was going to binge watch it, but I'm 4 episodes in and already tired of this show, Daredevil was a lot better.
just started episode 9, there are some good points but there's a lot of stuff that just feels like filler and cage is the only one that really caught my interest. unlike dd's kingpin where he was interesting from the beginning I think kilgrave is a slow burn though, I'm a bit more into him at this point
could be yeah, you feel the same way as me?
>However this loser can wait a few hours for the torrents or the inevitable mega links.
If it's anything like Bojack or Daredevil, It might be closer to 2 days before the full series is ripped, which is totally reasonable 12-13ish hours of content. I guess I will just have to watch Man in the High Castle until then.
>all these "nut muh daredevil posts"
I assume, not all of you, but some of you are the same people who post stuff like "all Marvel movies are the same".
It's a detective show, of course it's not gonna be the same as Daredevil
It's interesting seeing the flow of the thread.Someone doing a full binge wont be at the end till 4 or so, and so seeinghow far we all are, as folks fade in and out is pretty cool.
Anyone make still back to backing?
