It can be argued that the mini has him confronting his base appetites and going through a completely exhausting ordeal where he is dwarfed and oppressed by the vast cruelty of the underworld. Dino-Dante.

I have the original Varan but I had to edit it myself because it was in three parts and then add and embed subtitles. Same with the original Half Human (aka Toho's lost movie and the reason why Honda didn't make GRA).

Dante actually had an issue where he lusted after the wife of a benefactor, so he wrote a "relatively easy" punishment for himself. he does the same in the purgatory arc as well.

What I'm noticing is that how Godzilla got in hell to begin with is really unclear.

Issue 2 outright states Ghidorah is to blame, but Issue 3 has the maybe dream, maybe flashback with Space Godzilla, and Ghidorah only appears later as another prisoner of Hell

About the Buddha quote, I think the idea is that Godzilla overcame his rage and accepted that there was an enemy he couldn't beat. He couldn't be killed by the flying demons because he was at peace with himself "It cannot be taken from you". And that allowed him to overcome the obstacle in his way.

But it's also a series called Godzilla In Hell, this shit ain't gonna make sense.
