I just finished Super Hexagon (hardestestest difficulty) and am planning to get over 90 seconds in all difficulties.

It's tricky to do a tier list because the game has 4 modes (Siege, Arena, Battleworld and Story) and some heroes shine in a mode while not in others, besides there's balancing on a monthly basis directly via improvements or costumes.

you fight a bunch of dark elves and occasionally big ice beasts
each kill you make increases your score
when you score enough you complete a wave and get a completion bonus at the end of the battle (it's escalating stuff like 3000 credits, 1 norn stone, 10,000 credits, clear tickets)
your daily score contributes to the overall alliance ranking for a week

Alliance battle is a "survivor" mode, you kill mobs and stronger mobs until they get stupidly strong and they kill you, it's very fun and the more points you get, the better are your rewards -and of the whole alliance- so even if you don't last long, still play it, because well it's an alliance thing and everyone will get rewards at the reset.

Team-up puts you to play with others players, each controlling one character in a team of 3, killing one buffed up boss, you have 5min to kill him for some rewards that can be from meh to great, having VIP is hella nice here because you get more rewards.

I'm finally beginning to get somewhere. I've just gotten 6 5* characters, I'm farming 5 of them on their way to 6* (gonna be a while on that, of course; the closest is just under halfway there), and meanwhile I'm getting multiple teams up to 40 to join the 3 3* I have there (one group's at 37 so I should still do okay at Battleworld)

Despite the entry requirements for the 4-6* Battleworlds, I don't really feel like it's the greatest investment to jump any of my guys to 4* right now. Maybe when I have a lot more level 40s in reserve, just so I can get those participation rewards. I'm so money starved...

I can't believe we're getting SpOck this soon. I was half expecting him during some kind of Spider update. I'm quite excited for this patch. It kind of sucks that Elisa and Warwolf are tokens, though. I suspected they would be. I invested in Lash and I was only able to get the other 2 to 3* with full mastery. SpOck being another brawler is also a bit much due to the stones.
