My only problem with it is that it destroyed my headcanon that the reason Marceline was a vampire was that Ash turned her into one when they were dating back when she was a teen. That way they could always be together, but there's that irony that they broke up and now she's immortal and stuck with it.

Looking back on it, Ash just looked like a Vampire and they never said he was one, so I guess it's my own fault for postulating. Oh well, this series is rad so far and I look forward to more leaks.

Why exactly is Marceline killing all the vampires any way? From what I can see, they don't seem like they are evil people. Just doing what they have to do to survive. Anyone can relate to this feel? I liked the first five S7 episodes, but they felt "blank" or shallow compared to S2-S3, even if they tried to catch the spirit of the earlier seasons.

But the first two leaked Stakes episodes really gave me that happysad feel I always loved about early AT. It had toptier humour, a good pace and the lore/backstory was neither saggy nor pretentious/pseudo esoterical. It had one or two flaws, but overall it's been probably the best episodes for years. Also the outro sounded really wonderful.

Adventure Time represents some sad shit for me, anyway. Every time I think about it I remember two different women in my life and how my relationships with them decayed almost in time with the show.

One girl was a free spirited sex-crazed boy of a girl who moved off to the west coast and talked to me every day about her adventures in loving cartoons and loving porn. We'd exchange adventure time cheesecake back and forth. Her favorite characters were Marceline and Bubblegum.
