I'm still pretty sure Winter's purpose for being at the tournament is to try and drag Weiss home. From what we can tell, Qrow and Winter or the Schnee family as a whole hold some animosity toward one another for some reason. It's likely their father saw RWBY's first fight and was upset not only by the fact that Weiss is not team leader "like she should be," but that she's teamed up with Qrow's nieces and a faunus. All of this is perceived as Weiss bringing shame upon the Schnee name, and Winter was sent to bring her home to save Father Schnee from further embarrassment.

Ok I gotta vent here. RWBY’s production is starting to piss me off.

We are now on Vol 3, 2 episodes in. Why are we still getting whole episodes about fucking JNPR. Ruby and crew are the mains, everyone else is, should be, supporting cast or background characters. Why do I know more about JNPR’s leader, worthless ass, than I do about Ruby herself. The only exposition we get on Ruby and Yang’s home life is…wait…there hasn’t been any. Even ignoring the new season, whose first episode was great by the way, I know no more about Ruby herself than I did when we started. Why is the world of RWBY being explained in the World of Remnant things rather than in series? Also where the fuck is the sense of the passage of time? Is this the same school year? Did the summer months happen off screen? Because if they did that’s bullshit. And no, I should not have to watch a podcast or such to learn these things; it should be shown in series. Don't get me wrong, i like the setting and the potential this series has, i'm just feeling the frustration.

Honestly the best thing for RWBY at this point would be o fire the production team, look’en at you Kerry. Where is the coherence to the story, I should only care about other characters in the story because of how they relate to Ruby Rose and team, not because o got a whole arc about Bullying. I think the writing crew would benefit a lot from a female perspective. Miles and Kerry have not been teenage girls. They are writing from their perspective, both as a pair of for lack of better term "losers" in their teen years and as guys. So Cardin's a shallow jerk, because that's what the bullies in their lives were to them. Jaune's overemphasized, because he's the character they "know" how to write.

I don't want to go much deeper into it than that but you can look at a lot of the things in the show and see where their lack of perspective into how anyone else lives kind of comes to bite the narrative.

You should know by now RWBY is all about the action scenes and has little to offer storywise. I could literally sum up everything that's happened if I wasn't so bad at remembering names. How RVB has been able to have a continuing story for 13 years now is beyond me. Then again, I think RT as a whole is lucky to even be standing right now if it wasn't for Halo.

I think showers, baths, and pools are fine, Aqua-phobic myself. For me at least it's the, feet not on bottom/floating with no point of reference/drowning that is off putting and nearly/does induces panic. Usually this is caused by a near drowning episode early in life, as with myself again.
